Good foods with bad raps?

Why is it that eggs were “out” because they were high in cholesterol and now they’re “in” because they’re one of the best sources of protein? Same with coffee. It was “out” as a healthy thing because it was linked to high blood pressure, but now it’s the darling of the nutrition world because it’s so high in antioxidants and has been linked to helping control blood sugar and boosts cognitive function. Does this flip flop on what’s good and what’s bad bother you? Or do you see that it’s part of the flow of facts as nutrition science progresses?
