Game 5: Blowout in Boston

Hawks lose by 25.

The good news is the Hawks are coming home where the team (and the fans) have been stellar in the playoffs. More good news is that the Hawks will probably have a sellout for game six.

A bit of bad news, though, This one is a rumor generated by the Wilmington, Delaware, News-Journal. It seems that the 76ers might be interested in Josh Smith who is a restricted free agent this summer. Since the 76ers are believed to be 10 million under the salary cap, they might be able to sign him, if the rumor is true.

It would be a mistake to lose Smith. I hope the Hawks will make an effort to keep him this summer.

I believe Mike Woodson has reached his ceiling. If the Hawks don’t win a game in Boston (or the next one to get there), It will take a new coach to advance this team. Woody does not use his bench properly and does not teach the young players how to become better. Please sit Bibby if you make it back to Boston, he is pitiful!!!!
