Game 3: What a game!
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
The crowd was rockin’ at Philips Arena tonight. Sure, there were a few Boston supporters, but it was mostly a pro-Hawks crowd.
Al Horford had a great game (17bpoints, 14 rebounds), The Hawks had more than a 55% in shooting threes and they were able to run, defend and grab rebounds.
If you didn’t watch, you missed a great one!
Now, let’s hope they can do it again on Monday night.

It was a great game. Glad the Hawks won. I don’t know if anyone caught this but the Hawks play by play announcer on Sportsouth indirectly called John Kincade an idiot. Kincade was quoted in an AJC article saying this game barely a “blip on the radar screen” and Bob Rathman called him an idiot and said much of the Atlanta sports media has no idea what they’re talking about.

And Bob Rathbun IS RIGHT!!!
Kincade should know better since he announces for the Thrashers.
But apparently he’s part of the crowd that thinks the NBA is only for an “urban” audience.
Idiot.

Those guys on 680 the Ham are clowns anyway. All they know how to do is hate everything they don’t like so hell with those idiots. First chance they get they are going to do their usual and crack gay jokes about the win anyway. Forget those losers AND CONGRATS HAWKS! And as for Steven A(hole)Smith, how about dogging Paul Pierce for being a chump and throwing up gang signs because Horford clown his fat azz. That was a real PUNK move. That would have gotten his azz whooped if had done that anywhere on the street and he knows it. That was “stupid” and lacked class. S Smith didn’t mentioned anything about that, but will go and say what Horford did was “stupid” all day. Typical up north Yankee media bias. And btw, stop screaming you idiot, that’s why you have a microphone on for. Don’t hate cause your girlfriend I Thomas couldn’t get your NY Knicks out of the cellar. Nice win Hawks and dam P Pierce, he was all teeth when Ugly-Man Sam Cassell was doing his most disrespectful and dumb gorilla balls dance on our floor that last game of the season. Typical girlie-man, can dish but can’t take it. I no longer respect that dragqueen after that. I hope Horford busts his azz again, freaking chump!
GO HAWKS!!!

That game was electrifying. That is what ATL has been waiting for. For those “Hawks Fans” in the crowd, especially Section 213 Row C Seats ~4-8, STAY AT HOME and watch the game. Damn right I’m going to block your view when cheering. Hope you had a great showing of Smith, Johnson, Law, Horford…on our backs.

I totally agree with Darrin “The Vent King”….many members of the media will have a lot to say about Al talking trash to Paul Pierce, but at the same time, if you can dish it, you should be able to take it. The dance that Sam “title chaser” Cassell did in the last game was very disrespectful and sent a terrible message to kids. That is along the same lines to me as Josh Howard saying that he smokes pot in the off season.!:#(#($( Al and the rest of the hawks have taken their trash talking all series long, but has never once started walking towards the Celtics bench. Horford was showing that he isn’t going to back down from anybody on the Celtics team, therefore sending a message to the entire league. Al isn’t going to let the Celtics talk trash to him and label him as “SOFT”, like Dirk!!!! This is an example of the toughness that he brings to the team. AND WAIT UNTIL WE GET A CENTER WHICH WILL ALL AL TO MOVE TO POWER FORWARD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That win is monumental in many ways for the hawks in this series. it gives them hope for the rest of the series that they can beat this very talented team. but the key for the rest of the series is for espn to keep counting the hawks out. As long as the hawks stay as the underdogs in this series they will win. Seond they should not be satisfied with this win. The key is for the hawks to stay hungry.

Keep dreaming guys. I’m happy for you that you made it to the playoffs and that you managed to play above your heads and win a game. But it WAS stupid to call out a guy like Pierce. If he doesn’t score thirty tonight it will be because his back is still hurt from a cheap shot. And your hawks will be gone in 5. But have patience…by next year you’ll be playing detroit or cleveland in the first round instead of Boston. Then you might have a chance to win 2 games instead of just one.
Can’t wait to read what names you call me. I’ll come back and read them right after you lose tonight and have a laugh.

And by the way, you can tell that the hawks are satisfied by this win by the way they partied after it was over. You’d think they won freakin’ game seven of the world series with all the screaming and confetti. And it was a great win. It took all you had to get one. Be proud of it.

Well, if the HAWKS…and NBA team…actually won the “World Series”….I guess that would be worth partying over…
Hey…it was a big win for the franchise and it showed that they can play with the All-Powerful Celtics.
So, everyone had every right to celebrate the win!

Hey “keep dreaming”, your team are a bunch of paper tigers! Series tied 2-2. You should change your name to “seeing is believing”! Tell your boy Pierce to stay late and shoot some free throws! HAWKS in SIX!
