Game 2: Bibby needs to find his shot

Every time Mike Bibby touched the ball in Game 2, the Boston crowd booed. There was a point that he was serenaded to an action associated with vacuum cleaners by the crowd.

He only scored five points in the first game and correctly observed that there are a lot more fans in the stands these days since Boston started winning. So the crowd got on him. He managed 12 points in the second game but was plagued, like the rest of the Hawks, with unable to make free throws.

Yeah, if you look at the stats it says that the Hawks made 31 out of 40 free throws (almost 78%), but it seems that the Celtics were doing a lot of fouling and the Hawks weren’t taking advantage .

So know the Hawks are coming home. During the regular season when the Celtics played at Philips, Sam Cassell was shooting threes like they were going out of style. The Celtics have many weapons to use.

One of the Hawks’ weapons is Bibby. In order for the Hawks to win he has to be on top of his game, just like the rest of the starters.
