A playoff tuneup?
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
So in order to prepare for the best team in the conference (Celtics), The Hawks not only lose three games to end the regular season, but they lose to the worst team in the NBA (Heat) by 14 in the last game.
Is this anyway to prepare for the playoffs?

Everyone, just be sure to fill up on “beverages” before saturday/sunday’s opener and just enjoy the national tv exposure…
Expecting a series win is just too much. Every level of of this organization - from the brass to the roster - has been consistently inconsistent since Day 1.
I’m just glad the drought is over and plan on purchasing my tickets for Game 4 in a few minutes. See yall there!

The Hawks will get more than a few mudholes stomped in them in that Celtics series, but at least Philips Arena will finally get its first NBA home playoff game.

This might be the worst team in pro sports history to make the playoffs. They will get swept in four and the dopey GM and HC will be back for another year.

Watch tape, practice and be focused mentally. Still know matter how this series plays out fire GM and HC- hire Rick Carlisle as HC. Go Hawks

HAWKS gotta’ learn the “feel” for playoff games. They’re gonna’ get smacked in the kisser and then they’ll come around. Once they REALLY know what’s up, its over. But they’re learnin’ and that’s growin’. Like Arnold they’ll be back. Meanwhile Hawks fans enjoy the show and the ride in the playoffs!!! YES-S-S!!!

Watching the game now.. The Hawks aren’t that far from being in the game.. A few halftime adjustments, and they could give the Celtics a run
