Raising ticket prices…AGAIN
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
If you haven’t heard, the Hawks are raising ticket prices for next year. This will affect the season tickets as well as single game tickets.
I guess they need some more money to help pay for the court costs.

If they brought back Hawk-A-Licious, I wouldn’t even mind the higher ticket prices.

why don’t they have a NBA team in Birmingham?………Beacuse then the folks in Atlanta would want one….

There’s a sure-fire way to fix a rapidly dwindling attendance problem. Pure marketing genius!
Now all we need is for BK to pass on Greg Oden for a mediocre 3 or 4 man, and the coffin containing this franchise will make its final descent into the earth.

I am a season ticket holder, section 222. Provided that the increase is nominal, I will still purchase them. I have lived in a city that did not have a professional sports team and it was ugly!!! Please support your team, you won’t miss it until it is gone!!

All of the professional teams in this town stink. Is it any wonder why nobody cares? Do yourselves a favor, Atlanta: treat yourself and hopefully your kids to real excitement: catch a baseball game at Fenway Park in Boston; a hockey game at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto; a football game in at Heinz Field in Pittsburgh; or a - gasp - pro basketball game in Madison Square Garden in NYC. College atmospheres and the highest level of competition; something desperately missing in this minor-league city!

How can you raise ticket prices when you can’t win games at homes? “Come pay even more to see us lose.” Ugh…
Would you pay $80 to see the Hawks play the Celtics?

The $199 season ticket lives for another season in the 300 level.

Why should we pay NBA prices for a minor league team?

They should move to Hawks to the Gwinnett Arena. I would go see them there. Downtown Atlanta? No Thanks.

Season tickets $199. You can’t beat that. I will buy (renew) two seaon tickets.
