It’s about time!

Joe Johnson is a 2007 NBA All-Star!

Jason Kidd had to be injured for him to be put on the roster, but nevertheless, he’s an All-Star.

Let’s give it up, Hawk fans!

Joe carries the team on his back night in and night out. And he doesn’t wear the big ego on his head. What a deserving guy!

Thanks Hack for the comeback on the La La Blog. Maybe with Joe and Josh S at the front we have a chance at the playoffs….Anyway, the reason Joe had to “Back In” to the All-Star game is because of the reputation of the “Past Hawks” and the “No Respect” thing. Joe deserves and soon Smith will join him. The Hawks are FUN to watch, even though they are still a little short and green on experience. Other teams no longer see them as a Pushover game.

the tide is changing for this Hawks franchise…A couple years down the road the Hawks won’t be “that team” that other teams love to play against to get a guaranteed win. With a few more pieces added to the puzzle, the Hawks can do some big things!

jack,

you’re absolutely right! I can’t tell you how many times during December that it just made me sick to my stomach to see other teams come in flashing smiles and high-fiving each other just knowing that the Hawks were going to be easy pickins. You really don’t see that anymore, and you haven’t for a while. Nobody is really looking past the Hawks anymore and while that means the Hawks won’t be getting the easy wins that come from taking an opponent completely by surprise (like the Phoenix game), they are at least getting the respect of not being looked over…

As for Joe Johnson, it shouldn’t have taken the commissioner to put him in as an alternate. He’s played well enough to have gotten voted in by the coaches. No respect!

It’s great to see a quality guy like Joe get rewarded for the tireless work and unwavering devotion to the Atlanta Hawks. He disproved all the nay sayers that question his decision to leave winning team like the Suns and join a dubious team like the Hawks. Through his dedication and hard work he is now recognize as an ALL STAR. To show their respect and admiration for Joe, the young Hawks absolutely refuse to lose on the day that the league paid homage to their leader. Joe is a class act and very deserving of all the accolades he’s is receiving. The best thing about Joe is he always gives credit to his team mates, especially J-Smoove. Now it’s time for the rest of the city to get behind this young Hawks team. It time for us to give the unwavering support to the Hawks like Joe. Congratulation Joe for being selected as an ALL STAR, and Congratulation to Hawks for a triumphant West Coast Trip going into the All Star Break. GO HAWKS!!!!!!!!!!

Volman and RA, get a grip gents. This team ain’t going nowhere. First, it doesn’t take this long to build a winner unless the front office is stupid. Guess what, the Hawks front office is stupis and it’s still in place. So, like I said Hawks ain’t going anywhere until Billy does.

It’s funny; I’ve read blog after blog about why it’s important for Atlanta to have athletes with character and integrity. Even your favorite scoundrel Mark Bradley wrote a huge article on why a player should emulate another player that possesses character and integrity. Yet we have a player for the Hawks that embody character, integrity, determination, and hard work. Even the Commissioner finally acknowledges Joe. After all that what ya get from Atlanta; you guessed it more winners. Go Figure???? Go Joe!!!! and GO HAWKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
