Better late than never!

WASHINGTON - The Hawks didn’t make it here until 6:30 this morning, roughly seven hours after they departed Philips Arena for the airport.
And they beat me, and apparently the other 15,000 people that are supposed to be here at the Verizon Center to watch the Hawks and Wizards, by about 12 hours.
You thought LeBron James got some calls Sunday night, he’s got nothing on Mother Nature. Because when she feels like wreaking havoc on the world, all you can do is stand by and take it.
Better late than never.
The big question tonight is can the Hawks muster the energy to deal with a clearly inferior foe a night after an emotionally charged game and (heartbreaking loss) take care of business.
A good team should be able to take care of that business.
Time to see if the Hawks qualify.
