I would like to comment on the chain of command or the lack of support it gives. As a member of the 48th I knoe each soldier was to be given a coin by the BDE commander. They were passed to each unit. Well I would like to know what happened to the 1/118th? Do we not get one or is someone giving them to their friends and not soldiers. It is ashamed the fighting forces cannot get them but friends of the higher ups can.
