Who knows about Quinoa

They call it the supergrain, from research. It’s a food source that’s high in vitamins, minerals and fiber. Quinoa looks like tiny grains and it stores very well for many years. Some good news about quinoa is that it is very high in calcium which is an important mineral that many people don’t get enough of. So you think you get it from your milk, well 1 cup of cooked quinoa has more calcium than 1 cup of milk and without all the nutritional problems that milk has. Quinoa also contains other minerals like magnesium, zinc, potassium and iron. It’s also high in B-vitanmins. It has a healthy serving of fiber, found in the germ and lets not forget it is high in protein, an the eight essential amino acids. It is a must try food.
