I have a huge flower garden along with about 100 container plants. One of the chores I absolutely hate is dragging out the hose and then having to rewind 100 feet back into the reel. I recently purchased a water powered hose reeler that is a life saver. When I am done watering, just leave the water on, pull the lever and it rewinds itself. Turn the water off and you’re done. It will hold up to 175 feet of hose and works fantastic. No more rewinding for me. It works great. I now own two. It was purchased from QVC for about $45.00.

I have two labradors that are outside a lot. I found a product that provides Fresh, Clean, and always available Water to them. They love it as they can drink whenever they want and as much as they want, and I love it as I have no more worries about their water nor any water chores.

It is The WaterDog, and I found it at: www.waterdogpetfountain.com

Hauling away yard debris is one of my most dreaded chores. Rocks, dead plants, sticks, small branches (and grass and leaves, of course)…YUCK! A wheel-barrow is too unwieldy and really doesn’t haul much at a time. But but now I use Tote-a-Load. It’s an industrial-strength canvas carrier with four huge handles on each corner. I just lay it out on the ground, move or rake debris into it, then use the four large reinforced handles to gather up the corners and carry or drag the whole thing away! I can haul so much more in one trip. It’s tear-proof and water-resistant and much sturdier (more eco-friendly too) than plastic tarps or bags. You can hose it off to clean. I also use it indoors when I’m re-potting plants to keep the mess off the floors and carpet. It’s GREAT! Got it through HOME IMPROVEMENTS catalog - item #267088.
