Horrible call

Heartbreaking loss. The officials handed this one to the Eagles. I am so mad. The Falcons had a chance to pull this one out, but the officials took that away. It wasn’t even close.

Ryan continues to impress me with his never-give-up attitude, but the officials didn’t give him a chance to pull it out. So disappointing. He made a bad throw on the interception in the end zone, but he came back and gave them a chance to win this one on the road. Lots of guts.

Just seemed like the running game never could get going. That’s a lot of pressure on the rookie against a good pass rush. Too much pressure getting to Ryan.

Just couldn’t stop Westbrook today.

Go Falcons! This should have been a win.

Wow! Old Falcons never would have won

Unbelievable. It should never have been that close, but Elam is awesome! I can’t believe they drove down like that. The kid Matt Ryan kept his composure to pull out the winning drive. What a way to finish! Great catch by Jenkins with 1 second.

I couldn’t believe Elam missed the field goal that would have sealed the win. Even after the Bears drove down to score and go ahead, the Falcons held tough. Ryan just earned a bunch of fans. You gotta like this kid.

The old Falcons would have never won this game.

Ryan and Roddy were great today. Thank goodness Roddy was OK to play.

Ryan had a great game. He didn’t play like a rookie, but he has to get this team into the end zone. Settling for field goals won’t cut it. The Falcons have to get that figured out and soon. They’re lucky it didn’t cost them today.

Go Falcons!

Huge road win vs. Pack

Huge defensive stand. Abraham getting the pressure on Rodgers, and Boley coming up with the interception were awesome. Of course, it shouldn’t have come down to that. Fortunately, Matt Ryan’s boneheaded throw in the end zone didn’t cost the Falcons the win.

This should be a huge confidence booster for the Falcons. Going on the road against a good team and pulling off a win is huge.

How did the Packers score twice on double coverage? Makes no sense. Someone needs to break that up.

Aaron Rodgers is gutsy. More than 300 yards passing. He didn’t play like a guy with an injured throwing shoulder. Of course, the Falcons secondary looked horrible. They were biting all day on the fake handoffs. Definitely have to work on that.

The offensive line looked good, especially in the first half. It gave Ryan time to find the receivers, and Roddy was getting open and holding onto the ball. This has to be Roddy’s best game yet. Ryan had a good game with the exception of the bad throw in the end zone. Let’s hear it for Michael Turner. Another 100-yard game.

Why not use the no-huddle offense more?

Go Falcons! Back at the Dome against the Bears next week.
