Huge road win vs. Pack
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
Huge defensive stand. Abraham getting the pressure on Rodgers, and Boley coming up with the interception were awesome. Of course, it shouldn’t have come down to that. Fortunately, Matt Ryan’s boneheaded throw in the end zone didn’t cost the Falcons the win.
This should be a huge confidence booster for the Falcons. Going on the road against a good team and pulling off a win is huge.
How did the Packers score twice on double coverage? Makes no sense. Someone needs to break that up.
Aaron Rodgers is gutsy. More than 300 yards passing. He didn’t play like a guy with an injured throwing shoulder. Of course, the Falcons secondary looked horrible. They were biting all day on the fake handoffs. Definitely have to work on that.
The offensive line looked good, especially in the first half. It gave Ryan time to find the receivers, and Roddy was getting open and holding onto the ball. This has to be Roddy’s best game yet. Ryan had a good game with the exception of the bad throw in the end zone. Let’s hear it for Michael Turner. Another 100-yard game.
Why not use the no-huddle offense more?
Go Falcons! Back at the Dome against the Bears next week.
