A lot at stake
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
There’s a lot at stake Saturday night in the Dome. The Cowboys are hanging on to a one-game lead in their division and the Falcons need to win out to ensure a playoff spot. It won’t be easy for the Falcons.
Parcells won’t be easy to beat, especially after being embarrassed by the Saints on Sunday night. He’ll make sure his Cowboys are ready.
The Falcons can’t fall behind early because they don’t play well when they’re down.
If we can get to Romo, we can disrupt the offense. Our defense carried us against the Bucs, but the Cowboys are a better team. Pressure on Romo will limit the time he has to find Terrell Owens. We don’t want him to have a big game. D Hall needs to step up. He’s been quiet (on the field) lately. He needs to make some noise (not with his mouth).
All this talk about Vick playing running back is crazy. He’s a quarterback, not a running back. Yes, the Falcons will miss Dunn and Norwood if they don’t play, but don’t take a chance on losing Vick to injury by lining him up in the backfield.
Go Falcons!
