Can you give us some insight as to how D.J. Shockley is looking in camp and whether he’ll even be given an opportunity to play this year? Although, I would even suggest him starting…

I’m not a UGA homer by any means, but if Vick is out for the season, we should give Shockley a shot. At least we maintain some mobility at the QB position as the line gels and the offense picks up Petrino’s system.

Yes, I am ready for NFL Football. With Vick gone, we can now get other games on TV besides the sorry Falcons due to NO SALE OUTS. Art Blank know Vick is his meal ticket so back to the good ol days where we can get to watch the other NFL teams. I hope Vick sign with Dallas or Washington and come to the dome and whup the Falcons butts. God Bless Vick and forgives him for his sins.

To all these VICK HATERS, sit and watch how many empty seats be at the Dome this year and beyond….I am laughing my buns off because VICK kept the house full. NOW, it will look like a high school game when the Falcons play. Parkview vs Tucker will have more fans at the game. Atlanta might as well play all 16 games on the road in front of REAL FOOTBALL FANS!!!!

With the great Joey Harrington at QB, the falcons will be lucky to win 6 games. Brilliant move by the genius falcon’s management, trading away a superstar in the making in Matt Schaub and keeping a criminal and bum at QB.

Joey Harrington is better than that overrated Matt Schaub. What has Schaub ever done in the NFL. He is 0-3 as a starter. However, Vick will be greatly missed.

For the love of God, I really wish people would stop saying that the Matt Schaub trade was a bad move. That trade HAD to be made, because if it wasn’t, Schaub would have been able to sign with any team next year and the Falcons would get nothing in return. By trading him, we were able to move up 2 spots in the first round to fill a big void at DE with Jamal Anderson, we got an extra pick in the second round to fortify the secondary with Chris Houston, and we get an extra pick in the second round of next year’s draft. Yes, it would be nice to have Schaub still with the team at this point, but his trade was a business decision that had to be done.

The games are sold out but how many people will be there. Remember this is Atlanta? Without Vick I am hearing and seeing folks trying to give their tickets away. EMPTY SEATS, yes there will be a ton of them on game day.

So, Rush Limbaugh now acts like he supports the black QB’s ??? Rush made a good point about devaluing human life and people tryin’ to put animals on the same plane as humans. Folks, this is rediculous…like previous poster said..this is about Mike Vick because noone cares if it were a different figure or not a public figure, people are capitalizing and PETA and the Humane Society are like a sorry politician running their mouths because they see an opportunity to get some PETA or Humane Society money. If people love dogs so much where is the outrage when 1,000’s are euthanized every day in this country. Ray Lewis was accused of double murder and got in no way this kind of response…this issue is big because it has Mike Vicks’ name on it….I do agree with Rush on another point too. Sports journalists are just as big a bunch of liberals as other journalists.

I’ve been a Falcons fan since 1978, they never have to worry about me setting foot in Flowery Pollution, Vine City, or anywhere else they play again…

If my offensive line could block, I wouldn’t have to leave the pocket ,If my recievers could catch I wouldnt have to run all the time, and if I could change the plays, maybe we wouldnt be so predictable. In my first season as a starter, I carried a mediocre team to the playoffs on my back. We defeated Green Bay in Green Bay when nobody said we could. I was injured in the pre-season the following year which rushed my owner into firing the best coach thats ever been here. “SEE DOUG JOHNSON” In 2004 I led the Falcons to the NFC championship game, with the dumbest coaching staff ever. Their stupidity showed in 2005 and 2006, which led to them being let go. We brought in Petrino this year with new philosophies and better coaches, and also brought in Joe horn to help tutor our sorry as recievers, and now after all this yall want to let me go, just because my cousins might have misused my Kennel, that I bought to take them off the streets and give them something to do, LEGALLY. Damn, what a city? Just turn your back on me when I need your support desperately. I am innocent of all these charges, please dont let the media influence you into believing otherwise. I’m no animal lover except for steak, chicken and bacon, but to say this is not a crime is insane.

The association with gamblers is enough of a red flag to warrent some kind of investigation.

The bottom line is that whether you agree with the law or not, is that Vick broke it.

There are a lot of laws that I don’t agree with and if I break them I know that there will be reprecusions.

Mike Vick is guilty of being a superstar and falling victim to a politically correct culture run amok…yes, dogfighting is bad but this is being blown way out of proportion. What’s the rumor about Archer saying Harrington isn’t showing well in camp? What are the players like Brooking saying about camp? Is Horn being a leader? What’s the latest on Blalock’s signing? How is Demo doing?

There is so much we haven’t been able to learn because of the other really unfortunate static.

Its time for us real Falcon fans to step up and rally behind Vick. The people who Blank listened to never attend games or supported the Falcons in the first place. If you ask me, they have betrayed the real Falcon fans. We’ll support them, but it looks like with the QB’s they are bringing in, we will revert back to the Henning, Campbell days. It’s not to late Blank, we have supported you and the team despite doubling our ticket prices. You know certain people never supported Vick in the first place and you have jumped right in to the trap. It’s time to fight back and have our voices heard. The Peta folks can go back to midtown and there hangouts at little five points.

i hope we play well this season. i have been a falcons fan for longer than vick has been here and i’ll be one well after he is gone. i know that some people are just vick fans and thats ok, but he is gone and might not be back. so if you’re not a falcons fan and you just like vick, leave with him! you can follow him to what ever team he plays for next, since you would’ve left if he went somwhere as a FA just leave now. the falcons will be fine, us FALCON fans will be fine and hopefully we can get down to what’s important, the FALCONS!
