Beau Bock wears Crocs

Yes, yes he does. LIME GREEN ONES! His feet look like sherbet. It made it seem a bit cooler outside, that and a brief spell of wind.

Arthur Blank is here, natch, wearing a red “Falcons” shirt, with beige shorts. The Owner was strolling on the field as non-contact drills began, and almost waltzed right into a frozen rope thrown by Michael Vick.

Don’t think Uncle Arthur is eager, agitated for this season? Not with the reinforcements he authorized in the off-season, especially on the defense. Eight and eight ain’t so great, but the murmurs among The Fourth Estate include this: Did they do enough? These guys seem good on paper, and the paper on which they signed for signficant bucks is real enough.

Rich McKay is also here, the GM rumored to be among the 11 finalists for the NFL commissioners jobs. Some interviews start tomorrow.

Don’t see Alge Crumpler out here. Not yet.

Parker…you suck. I’ve been waiting here all day to find out how the team is doing in camp… and the only thing I find out is what color shoes Bock has on and what outfit Blank is wearing. Come on Parker, you are a sports reporter not the fashion police! Give us a legit update NOW!!

Am I supposed to know who this Bock guy is and give a crap about his girly shoes? You said Vick threw a football. You’re almost there just tell us more about the football stuff.

really, now is this how the home town paper opens up with coverage on the Kick Off of trianing camp. The paper needs to seriously reconsider whom they put on assignment. Any other major city, with a NFL team provides more coverage of thier team opening camp. Even the 49ers and they are the worse in the league. Don’t ever complain about fans its coverage…….SUPPORT THE FALCONS “AJC”

Has anyone even seen a roll call? It’s almost two hours into camp and I haven’t read anywhere about who all showed up and who may be absent, etc. A swing and a miss by the AJC.

Training camp is not a social event! I don’t care who shows up except the Falcon players, coaches, owner, and staff.

Hire a reporter who cares about and knows football. I don’t want to hear about the fashions in the crowd or Beau Bock. Only the guys issued playbooks matter.

Talk FOOTBALL, not “sissy shoes”!

Hooper if you don’t know who Beau Bock is you’re not a Falcons fan. Take your azz up 85 about 200 miles and support a team as lame as yourself.

Hesch: did you really consider your comments before you posted them? I am a Falcon fan but I live in North Carolina, you goofball. How am I supposed to know who Beau Bock is?
