Falcons ready for big NFC South weekend

Just finished looking at the Pro Bowl ballot on NFL.Com.

Fan voting for the Pro Bowl concludes on Tuesday. Falcons players, because of the lack of nationally televised games this season, will likely need a bigger voter turnout to push them over the top.

Fan voting counts for one-third of the total, along with voting from players and coaches. NFL players and coaches vote on Thursday and Friday.

The online ballot is in alphabetical order so Roddy White is at the bottom of the receiver list.

Running back is going to be competitive for Michael Turner with Minnesota’s Adrian Peterson, Washington’s Clinton Portis, Dallas’ Marion Barber and New York’s Brandon Jacobs. You get to vote for three.

Matt Ryan has a shot at quarterback. You get to pick three.

John Abraham should be a lock at defensive end with his 12.5 sacks, second in the NFC. Dallas’ DeMarcus Ware leads the league with 15 sacks, but he’s listed as an outside linebacker.

Center Todd McClure should get some consideration. He hasn’t given up a sack this season and has anchored the resurgent offensive line.

Cornerback DeAngelo Hall and tight end Alge Crumpler were the last Falcons to make the Pro Bowl back after the 2006 season.

The Falcons didn’t enter the season with a national profile, but there are still getting some national attention on the pre-game shows.

Pam Oliver from Fox was at the Branch on Wednesday working on a Falcon related package.

Our buddy Steve Wyche, NFL.Com Senior Writer, stopped by to do a piece on Roddy White, where White credits Joe Horn and the Petrinos — Bobby AKA as “Mr. Happy” and Paul - for saving his career. Here’s the link: http://www.nfl.com/news/story?id=09000d5d80d04e20&template=with-video-with-comments&confirm=true

Also, it looks like Tampa Bay is taking the Falcons pretty seriously according to Chris Harry’s Inside the NFL column in the Orlando Sentinel, “The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will play their first Monday night game in more than two years next week when they go on the road to face the Carolina Panthers. That means the Bucs will get an extra day to prepare._Jon Gruden and his staff put it to good use Monday. They began advance work on the Atlanta Falcons.Seriously.” Here’s the link: http://www.orlandosentinel.com/sports/football/orl-nflinside0208dec02,0,7485139.column

The Falcons can help their Pro Bowl bids by beating the Saints in the Superdome for the first time since 2002.

With defensive end Will Smith out and the Saints on the smallish side at defensive end, the Falcons should be able to run the ball with The Burner.

The key will come down to containing the Saints passing attack again. I don’t know if the Falcons can get another 15 pass breakups, three interceptions and one sack on Saints QB Drew Brees. But it will take another mercurial effort like that to pull this one off. Also, Reggie Bush will be playing his second game since knee surgery. He didn’t play in the previous game.

A big thing to watch for is if rookie Thomas DeCoud has to start at free safety. I expect Erik Coleman to be ready, but if he can’t go all out with his quadriceps contusion, DeCoud will get to show his talents.

Should be a big NFC South weekend, with Tampa Bay and Carolina playing on Monday Night Football. A lot of Falcons fans wanted to know how they should be rooting for in this one. Carolina is the team to root for. Theh Falcons have a win over the Panthers and need Tampa Bay to come back to the pack. Carolina also has a tougher schedule down the stretch with games against Denver, the New York Giants and New Orleans.

Who are you voting for in the Pro Bowl? Which Falcons deserve to make the trip to Honolulu? Ready for Sunday’s big tilt in the Big Easy? Can the Falcons basically eliminate the Saints from the playoff race? Who needs to step up to stop Reggie Bush in this?

Also, I plan on getting to the Dome early on Sunday and posting a pre-game report and will try to get to your questions at halftime.

Still confused about who to root for Monday night so I’ll just root for whoever the Cowboys and Redskins play. Good shot at a loss by both this weekend against the Steelers and Ravens respectively.

11-5 is realistic at this point and it should get us into the playoffs. Of course 12-4 is within reach too. I actually am more worried about the Saints than the Bucs at this point. No way Tampa gets to us like they did in Week 2.

As far as Pro Bowl voting, Matty Ice for MVP and at least 3 other Pro Bowlers beside him! Go Birds!

I think who you cheer for in the Carolina/Tampa game depends on what your goals are for the Falcons season. If the goal is the division title and a home playoff game and potentially a first round bye (I can’t believe that is still a possibility in December) than Carolina is the team to root for. However, if the goal is to just make the playoffs than Tampa is the team to root for. If we win Sunday and Dallas loses to Pittsburgh I will cheer for Carolina. However, if we lose I will definitely cheer for Tampa.

Hey Y’all:

This is what its all about. Your home team fighting for a playoff spot in the final 3 weeks of the season. This is what sports fans live for. Me a s a football fan, am stuck to the tube every day looking to hear something on the Falocns and their competitors. Come Sunday, I aa jacked up to look at some good football. This week in particular will be fun and should give a view of what its going to look like in the final weeks. You know I got our FALCONS winning the south and “SHOCKING THE WORLD!!” in the playoff. That’s my reality as a FALCON FAN. It’s about winning. When were are in it, we got to win it. We have the team to beat Tampa next week after we take care of business with the Saints. These closing weeks of the football season will be fun and I am glad the FALCONS are involved in breaking some hearts of the opposition. We, as fans, are with them. It’s our time to enjoy the holiday shouting for and enjoying our Falcons throughout this holiday season with good cheer and food with our friends and family. We believe Coach Smith and the FALCONS will be bring us a nice present this upcoming Christmas and New Year. So let’s be nice so Santa can deliver this package right. One thing we know is that SANTA will deliver it in “ONE HEARTBEAT!!!” WE ARE DOWN WITH THIS>

Happy Holidays, Y’all.

GO FALCONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What up D-Led.

This may be the best info on the net about the Birds. Thanks for that buddy. Ok, here we go:

(1) I agree, I think we can run in the Dome with them not having Smith. Hostile environment, on the road…I think we should start with the run and stay there. Select play-action passes DOWN the field…

(2) I think that we should, again, play the nice zone, tackle up strategy. Without Duece, and a limping Bush, they may have a hard time running the ball in the red zone. We must prevent the big play.

(3) Look for Decoud to have a nice game…he is the future at the position, and I hope that he gets some nice reps even with Coleman starting the game.

(4) Roddy White will catch a couple of BOMBS on Sunday. Douglas will take a few slants for major yardage. However, the focus will be the Burner. I hope he gets close to 25 carries (in a close game).

(5) The game lies in our pass rush on the road. If we can pressure with four, we can contain. If we are manhandled on passing downs up front then Brees will pick us apart…no matter who we have back there.

Prediction: Falcons 31, Saints 28 in a wild one.

Out of all the QB’s who have played all 12 games, only 4 have been sacked less than Matt Ryan (Cutler and Collins at 7, Brees at 10, Manning at 12). Our boy has stayed clean on all but 13 of his passing attempts. I know it will never happen, but the entire Falcon’s offensive line should be in the Pro Bowl.

Hoping for injuries is messed up woodman, no matter which team it is.

I gotta pull for Carolina on Monday. My hatred is stronger for them (stems from the days with #7 on our team). I don’t want to travel to Tampa again if we make the play-offs and I think their defense plays harder and more consistently. Plus Carolina will run into the buzz-saw that is the NY Giants here soon saw I see at least one more loss in their future.

It would be something if all three teams finish 11-5 for the season.

Hey D.O.L., your whole paragraph on the extra time Tampa has to prepare makes no sense! Is it for Carolina? Atl? and wouldn’t they have a day less for us since they play Monday night?

Wouldn’t it be better to cheer for Tampa since Atlanta still has to play the Bucs again? Tampa beats carolina and Atlanta beats Tampa, all the Falcs would need is 1 more loss by Tampa.

I am pulling for TB. A TB win coupled with a Falcon victory would put the Falcons ahead of CAR in the Wild Card race. Then the ATL has the opportunity to get ahead of TB by beating them next weekend. I want the coons to be in charge of their own fate.

By Singletary

December 5, 2008 1:08 PM | Link to this

Sorry, I could never, ever cheer for TB. They are a dirty team. Gruden is not a role model, and they play to injure. Remember, Gruden was a Raider.

While I’m not fond of the Kitties, I did cheer for them when they made the SB a few years ago. And yes, I thought it was wonderful that the Saints had the great year after Hurricane Katrina/Rita even though we paid the price on that MNF which was miserable.

Now, back to reality, GO FALCONS! Keep the focus on the team you are playing. No lethargy (like the Denver game.) I really, really hate the bad call in the Eagles game because that is what is killing our record right now.

@Gatorzone

Tampa’s schedule doesn’t look like it could give them another loss besides us of course!( Oakland and San Diego at home). It really comes down to whether we win against the Saints. If we do, then we need Tampa to lose so that we have a shot at the division title since we would have the best opportunity to finish with the best NFC South record (4-2 IF the Saints beat Carolina week 17).They also have a better NFC record than we do. Looking at it from the point of potential tie breakers, assuming of coarse, the three teams finish at the same record, it is in our favor for the Bucs to loose.

Then again we are S.O.L. if Carolina somehow knocks off the Giants!

Last time I checked, yards are not calculated into the final score. 522 yards allowed with only 20 points (7 came off a once a season hail-marry as time expired) is fine. Hell, 650 yards allowed is fine. The only one that matters is the final one into the endzone….

Vick Supporter 2, your irrational devotion to #7 is SEVERELY clouding your judgment. It was reported last week during the Charger game that Ryan is the ONLY rookie QB to win four of his team’s 1st six games since the AFL-NFL merger. THAT ALONE is worthy of Rookie of the Year. Flacco has a better defense and isn’t playing in a division as good as the NFC SOUTH. Yes Turner has had an impact but that’s because the O-line is playing better this year due to better coaching.RYAN’S THE MAN!!!!!!!

Monday’s cheering depends on what happens Sunday. If we do lose to Saints, I’m cheering for Bucs because the Wild Card becomes a more attainable goal at that point and I’d rather see Carolina lose this week and probably 2 of their last 3. If we win, I’m cheering for Panthers to give us a shot, but with the Bucs ending schedule, part of me still wants Bucs to win to completely knock out Panthers. Bucs aren’t doing worst that 11 wins with Chargers and Raiders at home to end season. If Panthers lose, I would be very confident in saying the two wild cards in the NFC will be Cowboys and Falcons.

I think I have a positive ID on VS2. He is Hussein’s old Communications Minister in a witness protection program. He was the little pudgy guy in the beret and Billy Carter glasses on the TV live cam every night back in 03. He kept declaring victory every night and bragging about all the scorched bones of US troops. The flashing lights in the background of his videos were coming from US Army tank fire as they rolled through Baghdad. The guy was so completely full of baloney, that he was hilarious, and nearly became a sympathetic figure. I suspect he still thinks the Iraqi army won the war. and now in his new identity as VS2, he is enjoying the Falcon’s “failed” season. Beyond help.

Keep it up VS2, we need the comic relief.

ALSO, IN THE THREE LOSSES THAT DENIAL CHAMP MENTIONS RYAN’S STATS, MICHAEL TURNER AVERAGED BARELY OVER 50 YARDS.

Fans,

Man - I read these Falcons blogs, and the Braves blogs….alot. The difference in the two blogs is amazing. DOB Bravo Blogs pretty much explode with information - literal “Spontaneous Statistically-oriented Commentbustion!”

A blog-a-day is a MUST due to the comments that pour in, and a majority of the comments are “better-mannered” and thought out.

Many discussions take place composed of names ranging from Honolulu to Okinawa and not more than a hiss of racially motivated spew appears.

AND ITS THE OFFSEASON!!!!

Our Birds….Our FALCONS, are effin kicking arse and making a run at it, and all these blogs can produce is partly self-indulgent ignorance to people, or self-inflicted ignorance to Baseball.

We are over half way done with the season, and we true falcon fans still make our way here for the occasional commercial on our team, or of our teams past. Yet these blogs never seem to sustain any integrity. Bravos blogs produce Stats, numbers, dates, exacts, concretes, truths, facts and humor. Our Falcons blog consists of rumors, hearsay, intolerance, hate, anger, misplaced passion, only SOME stats and most are questionable, and yes, the occasional humorous comment.

Lets bring back the integrity. For this team to truly change, its going to take this entire town to change. This entire fan base, this entire Blog community. Hours are spent here - Mainly for the SHARED love for the Atlanta Falcons, but also for the COMPLETELY SHARED love for the game of football.

We can all at least share that. We can have something we believe in………together.

More importantly, Life’s short folks. Let the words of a fellow human express this message further…

“Emancipate yourselves from mental slavery; None but ourselves can free our minds. Have no fear for atomic energy, ‘Cause none of them can stop the time. How long shall they kill our prophets, While we stand aside and look? Ooh! Some say it’s just a part of it: We’ve got to fulfil the book…..”

Go. Falcons.

Any true QB will tell you that QB rating is the most overrated stat in the league. Its the completion percentage and yards thrown that means something in which MV7 was never good at. Plus you cant compare MV7 four years in the league compared to Ryan who just started. I think this will be a good game and if the Falcons defense come to play then I think they can come out with a win.

Falcons Pro Bowl Possibilities?….(A Pretty obvious call here on most of these guys.)

QB: Matt Ryan - I only say this because it would simply cap off an already stellar season. To see this rookie go up against the Best of the Best in his first year would be fun.

OL: Todd McClure/Harvey Dahl and Co. - How many sacks ALL year last year? - How many do they have against them in 12 games THIS year? WOW

WR: Roddy White - Its Time. PB #1 happens in 09`

RB: Burner Turner should get a nod. Simply because he is not a Rookie and look at what he is doing this year…..and same as above…

FB: Ovie “Oh My” Mughelli - If Burner goes, Ovie goes…

DL: Johnny Abe - Shoe-in

LB: Curtis Lofton - umm…Duh.

I foresee the Falcons winning on Sunday. We were demolished last time we played in LA - But - That was a different team. I think this team shows up. I feel another Kroy Biermann SACK coming on. Curtis Loften gets fined $5,000 for a BIG HIT on The Bush. I also predict Stephen Nicolas will show up on D - we need his speed out there.

Harry Douglas has another Stand-out game, while Roddy will have a TD, but he assists in Harry’s glory. I also believe Harry shows Reggie Bush just how to run a punt. The new age is among us.

Also - Watch for Norwood….He’s been a little quiet as of late…and i think it would be the ideal time for a possible “over-utilization” of the Lightning Man, and i mean both RB/WR and Special Teams.

I’m digging the “One Heart Beat” - It means equality - and i duno bout you, but i want the Falcons to smear the little Saints right out of their own beds….

GO FALCONS!

WR Raddy White and DE John Abraham should be locks to make it. QB Matt Ryan and C Todd McClure should receive serious consideration. Michael Turner should get special consideration over the other RB’s for turning one of last yrs worst REDZONE, and overall rushing OFF, into one of the NFL’s best.

Sundays gm against the Saints will be determined by how successful our DEF plays and how well our OFF runs the ball and maintains ball control. As thin and as light as the Saints DL will be, I can’t see how they can effectively stop the run, without bring up their safeties and LB’s, and still protect against our deadly playaction passing attack.

One thing is certain. We are a much better team, especially on DEF, than we were the last time we played the Saints. Tampa Bay knows that as well and they will find out just how much better when we meet. Who one thinks is the better QB between Flacco and RYan ahouldn’t matter, because MRyan has proven he’s absolutely the better QB for the Falcons, and that’s all that matters. Man, this kid is going to be an absolutely awsome QB after a yr of experience with his OL and after working this off season with his WR’s.

My feeling on the Falcons is that they will lose to the Saints with the game being in New Orleans.

However, the Falcons should win the next three games. They will be playing Tampa at home after the Bucs’ physical Monday night game against Carolina, then the Vikings who likely will be w/o the Williams wall, then the Rams…putting the Falcons in the playoffs at 11-5.

The Falcons formula for geting ahead early and playing good defense works well but if anything it has hurt Ryans numbers. Everyone knows he gets reeled in after the first half. If he had been “turned loose” I have no doubt his numbers would be much higher.

Last Sunday, the Falcons showed they can win in the National Football League even if it’s not their day. They had three costly turnovers but coasted to victory. Coach Mike Smith counted a successful fake punt by San Diego as a fourth turnover. A significant play indicative of which team would win surfaced early in the game. San Diego had the ball on the minus side of the forty yard line. It was third and three… Quarterback Philip Rivers took the snap and handed the football to LaDainian Tomlinson. The guards pulled to the left side leading the way. And out of nowhere the Law Dog, Lawyer Milloy, showed up and showed out. In no uncertain terms, he laid down the law. Milloy sacrificed his body in a violent collision. As a result, the timing of the play was disrupted. LaDainian Tomlinson had no useful blockers. So he immediately reversed directions but was tackled by Michael Boley for a two yard gain. The Atlanta Falcons defense sent an early message to the San Diego Chargers offense: It’s going to be tough sledding.

No one should be deceived in Falcon country. In the final four games of the season, scoffers will appear; and they’ll get worse and worse. But they’ll be overcome by the Falcons’ orthodoxy, professionalism, poise and process. These are the qualities that will propel our orthodox football team to Super Bowl XLIII. Now are you ready to continue our long journey? All right, let’s begin the countdown to victory-T minus 12 seconds and counting-10-9-8-7-all systems are go-4-3-2-1, and liftoff—liftoff as the Falcons glide toward their ninth victory of the year. At a mile down rage, the birds are bursting with otherworldly energy that broken football teams need to become strong. Roger roll Atlanta. Out of the night sky, they glided lawfully and gracefully with the moon and stars bearing witness. The Falcons maneuvered themselves over Grady Memorial Hospital to position themselves downrange to touchdown. Their flight continued over Montgomery and Mobile Alabama. Underneath several clouds the Louisiana Superdome appeared. And the Law Dog simultaneously sent out a clarion call to the rest of his teammates, “go at throttle up.” They acknowledged in unison, “go at throttle up.” Our orthodox football team exerted otherworldly, divine energy, against the unorthodox Saints resulting in another win on the road. Falcons win, 31-21.

I’m just amazed at the results these Falcons produce. They’re nowhere near the top in defensive yards allowed, but are 8th in the NFL in scoring defense. The offense is solid but unspectacular, yet the ability to keep turnovers at a minimum and a steady rushing offense keep them in every game.

My only fear is that an opponent gets out to a big lead. I’m not certain that Ryan and his receivers can overcome the advantage that a good defense would have under those circumstances.

Regardless, I’m very pleased to see the ship righted so quickly. Good job, gentlemen.

The saints game is about one thing ~ “Time of possesion and ball control”. We will be able to run and they wont. Some pressure and batted passes equal a big win and a very fun and relaxing night Monday. Carolina has the toughest schedule no doubt. The key is ~ who can “win out”. It is clear that the Birds can control their destiny with a road win Sunday. It’s very doable! These are the weekends us NFL junkies look forward to! All eyes on the NFC South baby!

Saints are a different team at home…I just don’t see the Falcons containing Brees and Co in this game in the red zone given that Bush is back. I hope the Falcons surprise me!

In any case, I like the Falcons chances with TB at home, Minn w/o Williams wall, and St. Louis. An 11-5 record is still a reasonable expectation! Wow!!!

Go Falcons!!!

Eric C, You’re right the Saints do play better at home but the way the Falcons beat them is by establishing the running game and keeping Brees and Bush on the sidelines. If the Birds can get a 2 or more TD lead, Bush becomes less of a factor because Brees will have to pass more which can lead to picks like we saw him throw last week against Tampa Bay.

Why are comparing Ryan vs Flacco? I guess you ran out of comparisons with MV7? There aint a huge difference between the two. One has a better defense than the other and more established veterans and that always help with a rookie QB. The point is the W/L column which is identical. The reason the Falcons has and easier schedule this year is because they were so horrible last year because of your dog killing boy thats lock up tossing peoples salad right about now. Lets focus on this season and our team and stop comparing and contrasting so may stats, we can go back and forth with that all day….BORING!!!! Close one at the Superdome, Falcons gotta pull this one out.

Falcons win this game as long as they keep Brooking out of coverage situations. I think we need a heapin helpin of S. Nichols and healthy safeties to hold down Bush and Shockey. The D-Line may be the 2nd most improved unit, and they are getting better. Brees takes a bunch of sacks and hits this week and several balls batted down due to good pressure from the front four. We may even see a blitz or two, because now the whole team trusts the cornerbacks. No picks this week, (our DB’s have hands of stone) but they are always right there and they will break up many passes. Less than 3 plays over 20 yards will be surrendered to the Aints.

Remember that O-Line? They do block for the leagues #2 rushing offense. But realistically, I don’t think anyone other than Abraham and Turner have a real chance. They are they only ones, other than Ryan, to get any national pub, and Ryan won’t beat out Brees, Warner, Romo, or even McNabb in PB voting. It’s a shame because not very many people are actually seeing these guys play; seeing how hard they play.

I’m watching the games from a NY sports bar, with every game - every week, and I consistently get people walking up to me (in my #7 jersey cause I haven’t decided whether I want Turner, Ryan, or Abraham). They only pay attention to the Falcons game because I’m there, unless some other transplants come in like some Charger fans did last week. Once people watch this team, I always get a comment like, “wow, these guys are really good”, or “who is that guy and why have I never heard of him”.

And despite how you may despise him, VS2 has a point with the Ryan/Flacco debate. Ryan is having the greatest rookie year ever for a QB, statistically, but Flacco may turn out to be the better QB ultimately. Time will tell. I won’t be willing to annoint Ryan the second coming of P. Manning or Joe Montana until after 3-4 more solid years. Remember that Anderson guy from Cleveland last year?

The point I think VS2 is making, is that for all his flaws, “he who shall not be named” was a proven commodity with a winning record at QB. If you put that talent on this team, I’m sure they could be 12-0 and the darlings of the NFL, leading off SportsCenter every night. All his teammates and the entire franchise would have benefited from that. “He whose name must not be uttered” could have done that for this town. Still could, if not for the utterly ridiculous hatred some people have for the man. And even if the Falcons continue to win with the new guy, there’s no knowing if Ryan will ever have that kind of flair.

That (and the fact that “H.W.S.N.B.N.” is still on the roster) are more than reasonable grounds for VS2 interjecting his train of thought into this discussion. It’s relevant enough. Feel free to attack his stats, but the personal attacks and racial hatred to need to chill. Nobody on here should be supporting that kind of nonsense.

I wonder if SAM BAKER is going to be playing today. I hope not, for the sake of his health. We NEED him healthy and well for Tampa and the playoffs! Yes, PLAYOFFS, because we’re going this year!

And what’s with this VICK SUPPORTER? Get real man, you’re just being a real hater and I don’t think you even believe what it is that you’re saying! Mike Vick is hands down one of the best athletes out there (well I can’t say that anymore). Having said that, however, I think Matt Ryan is gonna give Atlanta it’s first professional sports championship since the 95 Bravos! I’m thinking next year, if not this year. Who knows? Anything’s possible with the way this team has been progressing!

Fellow Falcon Fans…don’t be discouraged after the Falcons lose today. They will win the last three games to finish 11-5. There will be a lot of complaints after today’s loss…but keep everything in perspective.

Today’s game is the toughest left on the schedule and the Falcons will not win a shootout against the Saints at the superdome…just not going to happen. However, getting TB at home after their physical MNF game and then likely getting MN w/o the Williams brothers, and then the Rams at home…3 more wins are for the taking.

I’m glad the Falcons have their QB for the next 10+ years, and don’t have to worry about taking another crap shoot in the draft for the position.

While watching and listening to Florida’s Tebow, I see a great football player, but NFL QB? Not a great one, I don’t think. Some team is going to get burned bad picking him.

By Supes

December 7, 2008 12:33 PM | Link to this

Tebow will be a great TE in the NFL. He’s an athlete playing QB. He won’t dare run in the NFL like he has in college, for fear of longevity in his career. NFL QB’s even big mobile ones like Donovan McNabb eventually all have to throw and stop running. Tebow will be no different. If he can greatly improve on his passing he can make it as a QB.

By Plontz Farellston

December 7, 2008 1:03 PM | Link to this

They say Tebow is 240 lbs. Does he look that big? It’s hard to tell on television. Let’s say he’s 240. What NFL positions play at 240 these days? QB, RB, LB. Not much wiggle room.

For all the Vick Supporters out there, (1,2,3&4): The reason WHY Vick had a hard time getting the playbook down was because he spent too much time electrocuting, drowning and shooting defenseless, helpless, precious dogs, when he should have been spending extra time practicing throws to his wide receivers; studying film like a student of the game; and working on the fundamentals of the game so that his all around game would be sound. Vick DID NOT RESPECT the game of football or anyone else for that matter and he did absolutely NOTHING to earn his $250 million dollar contract. While Vick was becomming the HIGHEST PAID player in the game, when he would leave the football grid iron he would turn into a cold blooded killer of dogs. Vick became the equivalent of a HUMAN SKUNK as he became the BIGGEST PILE OF HUMAN WASTE I have ever seen. But in spite of that, many of you are still clammoring for his return to glory just so he can screw it up again. Folks we have a quarterback who is as good a qb as I have ever seen in the association. Lets not let Vick ruin our season by clammoring for someone who will never return to the Falcons. Asking for Vicks return is analagous to putting Charles Manson back on the streets of freedom. It will never happen folks so please get this pile of human waste out of your system so that he doesnt contaminate our glorious season we are currently enjoying.
