Cemeeli We went to go see Bourne Ultimatum as well. Did you like it? I thought it was really good and action-packed!
Other than that…if you live on the east side then you need to check out a Japanese restaurant called Nagoya! It’s another Benihana’s but I think I might like this one better. NEway they’re celebrating an anniversary and has a special for half off the entrees!! The steak and shrimp is a pretty lethal combination!!

Foots, how did PoleLaTeaz go?
Nothing out of the ordinary for me. Training for a 5K with the main squeeze. Went to hear some live jazz at Sambuca. Watched football. Pretty chill.

Good morning everyone. My Nana died over the weekend (my daughter’s great, great grandmother). She was 96. My ex is driving to NY to attend the funeral. I’m not going because I refuse to be stuck in a car with him for that long, nor do I have the plane fare to spare. On another note, I’m afraid to go. I have never been to a funeral nor a cemetery.

Top of the morning to ya! I went to Myrtle Beach…saw a beach wedding. It was nice. Watched some football…yes I am a Patriots fan…despite the cheating azz coach!
SexxyLeggs sorry about your Nana. God bless her she lived a very full life and saw a lot of her lineage continue to grow. I feel on not being in the car with your ex. Distance is greatest unless the situation calls for you to be near him.
As far as funerals…coming from someone who worked with dead folks… you have nothing to worry about. They can’t hurt you…worry about the living. I spent quite a bit of time at the cemetery talking to my loved ones. It’s peaceful.
P.S. If you tell the airline it’s for a death…you get a discounted rate I think.

Thanks Staceye, I’ll check that out. I believe it’s only for immediate family (mother/father/sis/bro). My Nana is my ex’s grandmother. I am not related, but she treated me and my daughter very well (when no one else did, kooky a$$ family).

HI Blogsville. Minus Bella.
Bella, you’ve been late or now abscent since you started. If you don’t like the job quit. I’ve had jobs that I didn’t like too but I left. Some of us are addicted to blogging and your fugging up our groove. This is just not acceptable. The only thing worse than your actions is WD will have to carry the blog solo and thats not fair. Boo to Bella.
Whats up my lovely ladies. A few of you are REAL LATE on the Bourne thing, although it was good. LOL
Hey Sexy. I have become real comfortable with death lately. My sisters dog died friday on the vets table while I was holding her. she went in to get fixed and had an allergic reaction to the anethesia. I also buried one of my own 3 months ago. They were both 2 at the time. They were great dogs we put alot of time in training and getting them right. Its cool tho. I had a 15 yr run of great luck so a few bumps in the road won’t hurt. I do wish this shyt would end soon tho. LOL Business sucks, everything I touch dies, vacancies in the rentals. Dayuum. Oh yeah, sorry to hear about the loss.
Hey Red, Similac, Nipples, and Cool. Whats up MLB. Good post Donald.

Is the MLB going to have to take over Blog Duties from now on?
…Deep inside MIA Counter-Terrorist Unit HQ…
Poobah: Agent WD-40, we were expecting the field report at 0800 hrs. The Joint MLB/WLB taskforce cannot operate without it.
WD-40: Well you see, what had happened was…
Poobah: Save it! We already know what happened… Your junior agent, B-12, code name Miss Liberty, was compromised in an undercover sting operation. Now you know that is to be left to more seasoned agents, such as Slim112, or Ms. North Cackalaky. LIVES ARE AT STAKE!!!
WD-40: How dare you question my decision-making??? Those two were tied up on, ahem, other projects.
Poobah: Of what nature??? You mean you’re little surveillance of MLB headquarters? We know. Listen, as of this moment all blog duties are to be handled by the One and Only………JACK BAUER. Code name: The Truth.

OK since there is no topic….I have a question. Since everyone thinks that I am so hard on men…I decided to get some opinions.
The guy that brought me flowers and a couple of other gifts is really trying to get with me. But I feel he is after the puddy. He has mentioned sex a few times and I have told him that I am celibate. He got upset when i would not let him come to my place. So I told him I am a female that lives alone and I have to be cautious. I can’t just let guys I just met into my crib like that. I then explained a situation that has happened to me to try to better help him understand why. He still was a little upset. Anyway, I agredd that we could sit in the garden of my condo complex. That way which unit is mine…shall still remain a mystery for now. I also told him that I will not come to his house until I feel that I know him well enough. Anyway, he keeps trying to make time with me and trying to get a relarionship started but to men he is coming off to agressive by telling me to sacrifice things in my busy schedule to see him. I am like dude I just met you and I have things I am trying to do. Business first is and will always be my motto. I am always upfront about that so that there is no misunderstanding of leading someone on.
Now another guy I met in July is trying to lock a sista down. I tiold him that nigth I met him that I don’t date nor do I want a relationship. he said he just wanted to be friends. Basically he was dishonest…he wanted more. Now I knew he did not approach me because I looked freindly. Now he keeps forcing the issue with, “where is this going”? I am like, what is “this”? We are friends. He gets upset. Saying that he wants more than that from me and I am gettiing turned off and p** off because I told him from the getty up where I stood. He said his feelings have gotten caught up in this. Not my fault.
Ok..what do you guys think about them? Remember..I have not slept with either…nor do I plan to.

only because it was requested…
public displays…
the sexiest displays of affection usually have nothing to do with kissing or groping…
there’s something about the way happy lovers can’t keep their hands or their eyes off each other that will tell you the depth of their passion…
it can be a slight as his hand at the small of her back or her finger hanging onto his belt loop…
it can be a shared smile and a low chuckle that hints of memories and secrets that lie only between them and the percale sheets that they lay upon…
it can be a softly whispered nickname that carries a hidden meaning just for two…
it can be finishing each other’s sentences or speaking volumes without a single word…
it can be his chin on her shoulder or her hand on his thigh…
it can be that silent communication that speaks of love…

Back in the day, I used to smoke a lot of weed…. and enjoyed it. In the mid 90’s, I lived in Liberty City. My back yard was on Charles Hadley Park (literally a fence separated the properties.) Saturday mornings at that house were the best. I’d wake up next to someone thick and beautiful, eat a big breakfast, then go in my backyard, sit in the shade and blaze one while watching the girls exercising around the park. Occasionally, I would run out of weed. Fortunately, there was a weed spot down the block, next to the corner store. On those rare occasions when my stash was low, I’d take a leisurely walk to the corner; pick up some orange juice, honey buns, Saturday’s Miami Herald and a half-ounce of good from Dread. When he was late opening the weed hole, it would throw my whole Saturday morning routine off. Then sometimes I’d see them posted up under the tree where they serve at, appearing as if they were open, but when I go holla at him, he tells me its no haps, they’re waiting for the bomb to get dropped off. Disappointed and frustrated, I would have to hop in the car, go a few blocks over to the next weed spot……I shared all of that because that’s how I felt this morning when the blog was closed…. Then when it did open….there was no have a topic….Dayum.!! I told yall this forum is addictive.

Staceye, this is what I got from your long a$$ post (LOL). You appear to be an intellingent young lady who absolutely knows what she wants. I too feel that the guy w/the flowers may be after your “honey pot.” It feels, from your post, that he is hell bent on breaking you down. There are a lot of men out there who’s mission is to break a woman down, especially the one that refuses to be broken. No offense to you real men out there, but there just might be a hidden agenda. Staceye, I think you already know the real deal.

Pharress: Try Viking.com
Staceye: Understood. I still “keep hope alive” when it comes to the Knicks. As far as those guys, I wouldn’t even invite one to the area where you live. That could send a false signal. If they aren’t hearing what you saying, they’ll continue to ignore your demands. In that case, they probably aren’t going to be patient with you and won’t be for you. NEXT!

No prob ladies, I had a blast and I’m looking forward to Risque Ballet this weekend.
$Bill When does love/passion/obsession become hate filled and dangerous?
Good question. I was just talking to my mom about this today. I told her that I’m so lucky that I haven’t had someone try to go crazy on me like that. It’s a recipe for disaster when you have men who aren’t used to rejection or hearing the word “no”, coupled with the fact that they have nothing to lose (which is magnified when they believe that everything they have is wrapped up in that woman, so if he loses her, he’s already lost everything).
It makes me nervous when I meet a man with no hobbies, with no intense family connections, with no outside life other than a job. Because that sets off red flags in me, I won’t date them. A man has to have something else to do other than me. Because if things don’t work out, he needs to have something else to go back to, something that he fears losing MORE than losing me.

Football I was at the Packers smaching the Giants game yesterday. Gosh how good it felt to have on “cheese head jersey”. Now what I don’t get is why are NY fans such sore loosers? They were leaving when it was still 15 minutes left on the clock in the 4th quarter. Even at a Yankee game they do the same, such poor loosers. You wins some then you loose some…I had a ball though…I love football.
SexyCool Question if you don’t mind my probing. When you decided to shack was it hard for your family to take it in? I come from a GA strong rooted religious family, and the last thing they would understand is shacking up. Just wanted to know if you coucl provide some clarity on the situation.
SexyLeggs as an adult I’ve been to two funeral my the most recent as of last month. I was raised to celebrate death and morn birth, but I realized I don’t like funeral at all. As soon as I got back to NYC I changed my Living Will, so I can make sure things go as I want.

Staceye Just like I would tell a man in that situation, if you don’t want a man to get the wrong idea, stop spending time with him like that. The disclaimer folks put out in the beginning “I don’t want a relationship” does not absolve that person of all responsibility of what happens afterwards. It seems like you enjoy the attention (don’t we all), because if you were really clear about not wanting anything, they would have turned their attentions elsewhere. Men have a short attention span these days when they experience a rejection.
If you’re not open to exploring your feelings for either of these guys, I’d say stop leading them into thinking you’re going to change your mind. They are both trying to break you down at this point, like Sexy said, which says that either you haven’t been clear enough, or they don’t respect you enough to believe you. You left the door cracked; if you want them to stop peeking in, go ahead and close the door.

As I was getting into the taxi, I happen to see her and the kids waiting for the bus going home and I knew she was tired as hells. Because it was raining that Friday night, I give her my cab and enough fare for the ride home…And I don’t know her name.
Little did I know, this Amazon cutie was watching the whole thing, give me a home and treated me for dinner on Sunday.

Ok Bill you’ve posted the topic of the day.
On topic. It truly is a thin line between love and hate, and murder. LOL I think alot of folks are unbalanced anyway. It doesn’t take much to push them over the edge. The pressures of fam, work, life are starting to wear on folks.

Bre:You must learn! NYers do not like to lose when it comes to the sports scene. Walking out is how we show our disapproval. Some people boo, some people throw things. No matter the team, we EXPECT a winner! Watch and see what happens if the Yankees don’t do too well. It gets ugly.

When does love/passion/obsession become hate filled and dangerous?
When it becomes obsession….
When you allow yourself to be obsessed with the object of your affection you become a danger to that person. You can fool yourself and say I love this person, but in reality you’re masking your insecurities and feelings of inadequacies. You hate yourself because of it…and then turn that hatred on the ones you say you love!

when it comes to my real mom…all she wants to know is IS YA’ HAPPY?

Foots’s random observation that has nothing to do with anything: I need to stop watching so much of the Smurfs. I had a dream Friday night that I was sitting next to my sister. She leaned over and said “You sure smell Smurfy!” I think I’m going to switch that Season Pass over to the Jetsons for a while.

What Should Couples Argue About? How do you know which arguments are important and will help strengthen the relationship?
This is a good topic….I found myself asking my SO…So is this something you’re willing to make an issue? When I pose that question to him it makes him think if it’s something that’s even important to debate. Majority of the time he’ll say…no and end it!
I think the topics worth arguing about are those that will affect both of us. In other words, don’t argue with me over whether OJ did it or not…or why I support Hilary or Obama…or anything else that won’t directly impact our relationship. But if you want to debate my financial or parental philosophies….those are good discussions.

Staceye,u invited this guy to come sit with u in the garden of your condo…there is hope there for the dude!! Why did u do it, if ur intention is not to let him know where u stay because u do not know him yet? I feel, inside u, there is a part of u that likes the guy and u seem conflicted about it. Why would this be a question for the blog if u already know what u want? This guy can decide to stalk u and find out specifically where u live.So why give him an opening if u intention is not to put urself out there? I suggest u not fight the feeling but give him some loving regardless of what has hapenned to you in the past. Some here have suggested that ‘U let it go’Please do so because u are only hurting yourself.

On topic, I will never understand how a love for another person flies out the window and hurt and disgust has taken love’s place. I cannot imagine how men and women physically hurt each other. This is why I remain until I leave God’s green earth on “HIGH ALERT.” Another fear I have is waking up to someone standing over me. My house is booby trapped at night. I may not be able to get out, but I sure as hell will hear you if you try to come in uninvited. Hopefully, I have enough time to put my exit plan into play. People, I’m always thinking! SexyCool Thanks for the breakdown…see that’s my issue too many parents in the mix. My birthparents could care less or any subject there opinion means zero.
But my God parents and the ones that practically gave me my morals. Are going to hit the roof I’m sure of it. I don’t want it to come down too choosing him over them. I just know this is going to be ugly next year. I’m going to try to lay the foundation in Nov at Thanksgiving. They have no clue as to how I feel about marriage and its not something I want right now in life. I’m okay with sharing and still growing with this person before it goes to that. We shall see… thanks again.

Staceye’s issue with the two guys pursuing her brings up an interesting topic. No When to say When I’ve always subscribed to the adage Persistence Beats Resistance. However, it’s a fine line between being persistent and being a pest. Fellas, if you met a female you really wanted, how long would you pursue her before giving up? Ladies how are guy’s supposed to determine if you’re playing hard to get or never gonna get? Personally, my success rate is dayum near flawless. Ironically, I remember the few women that I aggressively pursued that did not succumb to my charming advances more vividly than the ones that did. One female that comes to mind when I thnk of those I couldn’t get is Lisa Jonhson pretty, fine, brownskin thang from Charleston, South Carolina. When I was in undergrad I tried my hardest to get this girl. I took her out a few times, tried to get to know her, made it my business to be where she was just to get an opportunity for another conversation. She would not give in (and I was a big time QUE, new whip, off campus spot, my diznic was in demand like a mugg.) Similar to the scenario Staceye describes, she would give me subtle indications as if I was making progress, but I was never quite sure. I tried for a while, but ultimately accepted her disinterest. Do women send mixed signals intentionally? Speak on it, if you’re so inclined. By the way, Lisa if you happen to be reading this, it’s still not too late to give me that azz.

TheTruth, if you like cabbage, get some fat back, aka salt pork (already sliced). Place about 2 in oven. Cut up your cabbage and place in pot with about 2 1/2 cups of water and about tablespoon of butter, margarine or I Can’t Believe It’s Not…. Season w/Nature’s Seasoning and pour the drizzle off the salt pork into your cabbage. You don’t have to put the pork in there if you don’t want to. Cook for about 15-20 mins. You need to taste periodically to see if it’s seasoned to your satisfaction. Mind you now, cabbage gets mushy quickly so watch it.

Dushwan* Do women send mixed signals intentionally?* I think i did this with a date i had over the weekend. The person that i went out with was having waaay more of the “I’m feeling you” (me) during dinner than i was. I was very nice maybe to nice. Now i know why it took almost 3weeks for me to take him up on the offer in the first place. Not that he wasn’t a nice looking guy or nice person in general. I think that it was just that he tried to hard i think. Very overwelming with the compliments (is that possible). Dude was the ULTIMATE gentlemen the whole night(which is what i look for) and he made me laugh but it was something about him. The ‘eyes’ spoke different. Oh yeah i look pass the first 20min of convo and goodlooks and nice attire when i’m on a date (just one of my things). Ususally I will look u right in the eyes and try to discern the genuineness of you. Then if the vibe does not give me good feeling i’ll give ponder. You might get another chance but b/c of the none genuine feel and get and then you tryin to overly impress i check out right around 20min into the date. So for the next 1-2hrs you’ll get the basics from me. I’ll smile and show my dimples and keep you engaged because that’s just me being cordial. Sending any subtle indications that i like you…no not really. A guy probably wouldn’t really know if i was not interested in him on the date b/c I want him to enjoy his self even if i’m not…so i stay attentive until i can get out of there.
He’s been texting my phone since the date about how he couldn’t have planned a better time. I have not responded Day 3. What is a girl to do?

Confusing love with obsession It is presumptuous think the obsessor is capable of controlling his or her behavior, since obsession is a form of delusion and excessive preoccupation with a person. It is wise for the object of the obsession to remove themselves from the relationship at the first sign of a red flag. Which leads me to Staceye’s dilemma…
Staceye If you are truly not interested in entertaining either man’s company on the same level they wish, you should leave them alone. State what you want/don’t want and let your actions confirm your words. If a man thinks he has a chance, he will do whatever it takes to turn your “no” into “yes.” It sounds as if neither is respectful of your wishes. Maybe they are complete idiots. Maybe it’s because you are sending mixed signals…might not be your intention, but this is what they are thinking. Let’s be honest: All men want sex, eventually. Whether this is his only intention remains to be seen.
LadyDark I agree with you. It all depends on what is most important to the relationship. Some topics must be discussed now or they can ruin the relationship later.

Afternoon my people - I’m usually intent on lurking but I kinna like the blog today with eight million topics. Also, Staceye’s comment got my attention. I’ve lurked for awhile but wanted to piggyback on Du and melo’s post, and add it’s very hard for some women to leave the Mars population alone completely. Even if it seems like it will be in your best interest if you did just that. Trying to maintain your sanity, by leaving them alone may not be your answer. Your actions seem to be a bit ambiguous, because if you didn’t want to be bothered then simple don’t answer their calls. If a man has approached you with the idea of “getting in”, he’ll take whateva you give him… ie friendship. WHATEVA!!! As long as it will get him in. Also, just as a side note. If you are letting them occupy your space, maybe you’re not ready to be rid of them. If that’s the case, you shouldn’t be upset if (and when) they try to cross the line, BECAUSE THEY ALWAYS WILL!!! (But maybe you don’t mind just as long as it’s your way. The when, where, how, and etc on your terms… that’s cool too, just don’t get upset if they try to speed stuff up.)
Pharress - Cooks Wharehouse is the bomb. They have a new one downtown Decatur as well.
Sexy - sorry about your fam.. will send one up for you and yours.
Bre - Oh he!! naw you went to the Pack game! Oh I wish. I too would love a cheese head thingy. I love Brett!!!

Sexy I love a woman that can cook. I’m not a big cabbage eater but when my sister cooks it its good. I dated this girl that loved to cook but she enjoyed cooking and serving so much she never taught me what she knew. She’d just say sit down and get ready.
I’d teach you to shoot (I’ve always qualified sharpshooter, shameless self promo) but in the process of standing behind you to show you proper form then dropping my hands to your hips so you can fire you’d either shoot the ground or turn around and shoot me. DuShawn is our resident blog adulterer. Jewel, I’m noticing a disturbing trend in your post directed towards me. I sincerely hope your derogatory references are in jest.
Regarding the cabbage preparation: try it fried. Heat olive oil in a large saucepan, dice an onion, thrown it in there, let them brown slightly. Add chopped cabbage and cover. The cabbage has a lot of water in it already, so it will steam. Stir occasionally. Season to taste (Lawry’s seasoned salt, black pepper, a little garlic salt.) It should be ready in about 20 mins. Don’t over cook it. This way is healthier and it won’t be soggy like in a lot of Soul Food Joints, it will be steamed like at the Jamaican spots. Imma mean man in the kitchen.

SexxyLeggs yes…my long a$$ post! LOL But you know I feel all guys are after the honeypot. So that is why I brought it to the WLB & MLB to see if it was just me being my cynical self or were my thoughts valid. So, I am correct in this case huh?
I will never understand how a love for another person flies out the window and hurt and disgust has taken love’s place. I cannot imagine how men and women physically hurt each other. I have seen how it transformed…that thin line is easily crossed. Love & hate both being strong emotions. It’s like God vs. Evil….God vs. Satan.
**My boss even offered to take me to get a gun and show me how to use it without shooting myself! LOL I’m good with a knife, swords, machete…but never really had much practice with fire arms.
$Bill You are right. I should not even have invited him to my proximity. But I thought I was mediating a situation without going against my own rules. I refuse to be alone with a guy until I feel comfortable with him. The more they push..the more I pull. They are either not understanding what I say…or just seeing it as a challenge because I am saying no to everything. I would think it would make them leave me alone.
Lady Dark w/Dimples girl I don’t know why they keep coming. They haven’t even sniffed it. LOL
Bre as a New Yorker we are quite arrongant in some things! LOL That is why we are such sore losers! Come on…if Yankee fans can roll over to the Mets Stadium (another NY Team) in bigger crowds than the Mets ..and yell “Mets Suck” and boo them like them with in the Bronx…that is true arrogance in the flesh! LOL
Foots I don’t spend time with them. They are both complaining that I am always too busy. I let them know I have things to do and I will not change my plans. So….no leading at all. I have not not seen either one more than 5 times since I have met them.
Girl I love me some Smurfs, Flintstones, Jetsons, Tom & Jerry, Snorks & Thunder Cats. I think I wil lose my mind if Gem comes on!
Truth I don’t even call them..they call me. The one that said he was gonn astep back and check his feelings still texts me and calls like he never said that> So I’m confused.
SowhatIamfat when I used to date…I used to feed my man…like if I had something on my plate that I wanted him to try I would feed him.
Melo honestly I felt bad that he went out and bought me all thse nice gifts…including champagne and my favs from Godiva. Though I did not ask for them…the thought and the effort was already done. So I figured I would meet him half way.
Dushawn LMAO you are funny…still wanting to hit Lisa up huh? I think we try to be nice when we are not interested so it may be misconstrued as, “I’m wearing her down” syndrome. Sometimes a guy can be too aggressive which make a girl question his intentions and these days his psychiatriac state.

Cemeeli Did you pay for your meal/entertainment? Texting is tacky if you think he really likes you and expects more. A phone call as soon as possible is best.
DuShawn For as long as I have posted to this blog, I have noted anyone’s (male or female) comments that seemed adulterous and disrespectful to their union. I am capable of doing that by discussing the topic separate from the individual. I remember you were hot in the collar after I made the “I Think DuShawn Loves His Wife” comment. I still think that was a good one My comments should not be offensive to you if your comments are for entertainment purposes only. Please do not track down my URL and pay me a “visit.”

Laughing at you Staceye w/I’m good with a knife, swords, machete…but never really had much practice with fire arms. Sound like a typical NYer. We will use a knife in a minute.
$Bill, you can get Nature’s Seasoning from any supermarket. It has a blue top with a yellow label that says “Nature’s Seasoning.” It’s not as salty as Lawry’s to me. However, because Lawry’s is red, you need to use some Paprika with the seasoning. Paprika is merely a browning agent with a small hint of a taste.

Did any of you Scs alums know Piper? She was there in the mid 90’s. Red bone, dd’s, fine as all get out. Thats in Orangeburg, right?

Lady Dark My skills in the kitchen are not to be played with. Yesterday, when I got home from church, I made a roast,(with the baby carrots and potatoes), some yams, fresh cut green beans (not frozen or canned) yellow rice, blue berry muffins and a big pitcher of Red Kool-Aid. All prepared while simultaneously laying on couch, drinking some Heinekens and watching football (and Iron Chef America during the commercials.) I like to cook.
Jewel I remember you were hot in the collar after I made the “I Think DuShawn Loves His Wife” comment. I still think that was a good one Ironically, My wife and I watched that movie for the first time on DirecTV pay per view this weekend. By the way…I’ll see you after work….(j/k. It’s all luv.)

SexyLeggs Have you tried broccoli with sauteed garlic and red pepper flakes? The amount of red pepper flakes depends on how spicy you like your food. Me, I’m chicken, so just a pinch will do. Dice fresh garlic cloves and saute in olive oil with the red pepper flakes. Saute maybe 2-3 minutes. Add fresh (cut up) or frozen broccoli (florets), chicken broth (of course), butter or margarine, salt and pepper. Cook to your preferred doneness.

cluess, you’re in your mid-20’s. Nothing wrong with that. However, the only sure way to get hella good at it is to practice. And, I don’t mean on a different subjects. Find that special someone first and then practice on him. Ask him to help you w/the technique. Everybody has their own style.

India, say lil mama, you get what you pay for; so it depends on what YOU want to do with that 30k per year….if you wanna have some change leftover after payday, then there’s always vacancies in the SWATS, and elsewhere, but, if you value privacy, cleanliness, and safety, then outside the perimeter is where its at….but you may not have much left over after rents due.

Truth here’s one… BROCCOLI RICE AND CHEESE CASSEROLE
1 medium onion, finely chopped 2 10oz pkgs of frozen broccoli, cooked and drained 1 stick of butter 2 can cream of chicken soup 6 cups of wild rice 1 clove of garlic 3 cups of shredded cheese, your favorite
Preheat oven to 350°F.
In a skillet melt the stick of butter. Sauté onion and garlic, until onions are tender. Set aside to cool.
Steam the frozen broccoli until thawed, then drain well. Let cool.
Cook wild rice according to directions. (Use any type of rice desired; wild rice is exceptionally good in this recipe).
It is important to allow the warm ingredients to cool before mixing everything together so the cheese doesn’t melt too soon.
When sufficiently cool, reserve 1/2 cup of the cheese and mix remaining ingredients together. Put in a oven-proof baking dish or casserole dish (or 2 if needed).
Spread reserved 1/2 cup of cheese on top. Cover with foil.
Bake for 20 minutes, remove foil; bake an additional 5 to 15 minutes, or until cheese on top is hot and bubbly.
Make approx 12 servings, recipe can be cut in half.

(0-4 points) You Are : Polite, but a Pushover You’re kind to a fault and you may be letting your dates walk all over you. Remember, your time and your company are valuable. If the guys you’re dating can’t see that, then you definitely need to work on showing it to them. And not just so they know-but also so that you don’t forget.

Fellas, If yall want to prepare a quick meal for your lady, don’t sleep on those Bartolli’s Frozen Pasta dishes. Get the seafood alfredo one. Everything comes in one bag. Pick up a bag of frozen Jumbo Shrimp (peeled and veined) and the all in one Cesar Salad (with the croutons and dressing all in the bag). Dump the pasta ingredients and additional shrimp in a big non-stick skillet and add a little seasoning. Prepare the salad. Everything is ready in 20 mins. Pair that with a nice chardonnay. Light the candles, put on the Luther….its a wrap. That’s my free playa lesson for the day.
