Welcome Slim i did go to a 3-day birthday celebration..i had a great time..i met a few nice men from New York, DC, North Carolina it was nice just talking to someone that spoke correct english, have a career & actually know what’s going on in the world….we laughed, took pictures, yes i did turn on my QC charm…we made a date to see each other again when he comes back to the “A” for the holidays…yes, email/phone numbers were exchanged have a great day bloggers!

We did pretty much what I said we would do, not that I am single and dating, but anyway…we went out for dessert to Caribou Coffee. Talked to a rather interesting couple while there. Had said we would go see a movie but at the last minute decided to go home instead.

I also got a chance to go over to my brother’s house to see his brand new hardwood floors along with his black on black 2007 Mercedes it’s the most beautifulist car i’ve ever seent lol :)

Slim girl you ain’t neva lied…it’s was a trip, hell i started walking like i was on the runway for America’s Next Top Model lol I’d just let a friends house from a birthday dinner…i was hot, sticky, my pony tail was pinned up…hell, them men don’t care..they’re all ages, shapes, colors, etc…lol

Sounds like not many took the challenge! Saturday I went to the gym, then to a gig; Sunday I went to church, trimmed a bunch of limbs, and then laid around the pool. Normal weekend. This weekend I’ll take off for the beach with Sweetie!

Tazzee, thanks for asking. i just had one of those fugged up weekends where if something could go wrong, it did! you know one of those weekends where you just want to turn your phone off, order a pizza, get a six pack, get some mary, and just chill and not be bothered with. its all good though. today is the start of a new week, so ima put this past weekend in the past!

Dang Slim!! I’ve never experienced the jelly fish sting, thank goodness. But, I’m glad to hear the rest of the trip went well.

I hope more people took/take the dating challenge. Several folks said they (like myself) already had plans for this past weekend. But, hopefully, we’ll get the opportunity to take it in a coming weekend. I plan to!

Dang…this is a sloooooooow Monday! Is anyone else dragging at work like me today? Trying to think of a QC-worthy prank to play on my business partner. LOL!!

Tazzee Yeah I did and it was my first time. I must say i didn’t like the experience. LOL! I was swimming along, jumping with the waves….the normal beach stuff, when all of a sudden i felt this tingling, burning sensation on my leg. It felt like a thousand little needles….As soos as i felt it, i was dayum near walking on water trying to get ashore to find out WTF was going on. I didn’t see the culprit nor stuck around to meet him. My ex also got stung shortly after I did. When i got out to check out my leg, it immediately started turning red and welted up. The stinging was pretty bad. A family near by noticed it and asked if i got got too. They suggested i put some wet sand on it which it helped soothe it. I heard vinegar works too or you could just let someone pee on it. lol

On topic…I went out on a date Friday night..yeha I know, me of all people… we had drinks and saw Rush Hour 3…loved it! Then I went to eat.I had a nice date. been a minute since I had one of those. Saturday I went to help out with my god- daughter’s 1st birthday party. The baby girls made me want a baby girl of my own….then I woke up and realized…they grow up to be little children. I quickly changed my mind again! I spent Sunday trying to kill my migraine that wouldn’t die! Man it was hotter than the devil’s drawers at a BBQ outside!

HELLO ROOM My weekend changed becasue I had to get my little princess ready for the first day of school!! I think I was the only man walking down the hall looking teary eyed. Even though I took her to day care everyday its something different about taking her to the big school. It just seemed like her teacher just took her away from me when she announced all parents must leave. My little princess looked so pretty (thanks to daddys taste in clothes) I cant wait till 2:45 to pick her up!!!! I think this is gone to be the longest day of my life!!

3 S Man That is soooooo sweet, i love to see a man drop his kids off to school…i remember when my Daddy took me to school..when he left me i hollared like i was being kidnapped, lol…he told me he was taking me to school, but he did’nt tell me he was leaving me…he said he heard my mouth all while he was walking down the sidewalk, lol…yes i did stop crying and yes i was a “Daddy’s Girl” :)

i gotcha Staceye. gotta step my game up. it shocked me at first when it didnt work because its normally 100%…especially when i tell them they can get cheese on it. its like the panties just come flying off. then i thought about it and it hit me that the only success ive had with that is when im on bankhead…dayum, dayum, dayum!

i think damn near every QT is the jump off. dont get caught @ 10:30-11 on the weekend at the one on covington hwy and 285. it be jumpin damn near as hard as the club right up the street from it. the police have to come out to direct traffic and a lot of times they’ll turn you away if its too packed.

whats up SSSBM. i feel you bruh. when i took my daughter last year on her first day of kindergarten, it almost made a grown man cry. i think one of the biggest things for me was the fact that i had a daughter that was starting kindergarten. its funny how time flies by. yesterday she wasnt even talking, now she’s in kindergarten (1st grade this year), made me feel kinda old!

Hey ALL!! I am just getting a chance to pop in, dropped my baby off for his first day at daycare and I had to pull it together b4 we were both in tears!! He managed to let go of the waterworks while mommy tried to remain tough. It didnt work, as soon as I left it was on!! Oh well, part of babies growing up…

On topic It was so friggin hot this weekend that I did NOTHING til yesterday! And then all I did was church and Target for daycare supplies!! I did however get asked out by a guy that I have been friends with for over a year. I will update you guys on how that goes!!

Hello all- Hope everyone’s Monday is going well. I wanted to get on the blog earlier today, but work has me swamped. Here’s my update to Friday’s challenge; I asked a former next-door neighbor to the Stevie Wonder concert @ Chastain on next month, and he said yes. I was pretty sure he would since we have hung out before. We talked for a good while over the weekend and we ended up going to Old School Saturday @ the Sheraton. Not really your typical dating place, but we’re comfortable with each other as friends, so it was nice to spend sometime with an old friend, just dancing and having a good time. I even got a good kiss goodnight, even though he left my house @ 1pm the next day (LOL!!!!)

Hey Mo…Congrats on the date invitation. I’m sure it go well for you and your friend. I was @ the BP on Flat Shoals Parkway getting gas last night and I saw a nice speciman of a man @ the next pump (LOL!!!)…good thing he asked for directions to Covington Hwy, that was a great way to introduce himself. Island We still pick on him about that! My grandmother wasn’t much better. When my mom turned 16, she had a party, and my grandmother invited all of the boys she was dating at the time (moms was a bit of a playette!). Mom said she was running and hiding all night! LOLOL!! My grandfather is doing his thing on my younger cousin now. He loves to call whomever she is dating by the name of the previous guy! He’s too old to pull out the hunting rifles, so he just embarrasses them! LOLOL!!!

Ahh restaurant week - I miss it already. JML1974 - I used to go to City Grill for lunch quite a bit and the food and service was always excellent. My friends and I went for restaurant week one year and the uppity waiter acted like he didn’t want to serve us. Hopefully you won’t have that experience.

Mo, you right about the QT/BP gas station jumpin’ on the weekends?? It’s crazy, makes you wonder, is the gas station the new meet and greet setting for singles in South Dekalb County??

Yeah, the QT on Candler Rd/Columbia Drive was jammed packed I believe around 6pm. There were people everywhere!! I believe it was the Spontaneous Car and Bike Show this past Saturday (LOL!!!)
