Mocha I did…it’s sad when you think about the environment in which we live…those are your co-workers,officers,teachers, etc posting such hateful comments. I had to stop because I choose to love all people and not let the ignorant ones rattle me.

Did you or anyone else hear the Frank & Wanda show? A pregnant wife called in and said she wants to send a shout out to her hubby and his girlfriend who live together for the last 3 weeks.

Well I’ll be doggone…….. the door is finally open Mocha I hope you didn’t hurt anything when you kicked it down :-)

I saw the blog about the confederate proposal, I didn’t even bother to read it, I figured it would be filled with a bunch of racist crap and my head already hurts. Did you all know that Confederate Memorial Day is a Holiday? State employees observe it after Thanksgiving or the day after Christmas depending on what day of the week the holidays fall on.

I had a lucky streak back in 1990. Darryl’s mom gave me a non winning scratch off lottery ticket, I sent it in for a 2nd chance drawing and as LUCK would have it, they drew my ticket twice; once (with 249 other folks tickets)out of the estimated 10,000 losing tickets that were sent in from all over MI and then a 2nd time out of the barrel of 250 tickets they drew from to select 6 contestants for the weekly MI Lottery TV Game Show Fame and Fortune They called me on a Friday and sent me a package on Monday to appear the coming Friday…….. It was a wonderful experience. I won a 1990 Dodge Daytona on the TV program. I had to wait til Monday to pick up my new car because the program did not air until Sunday. That was the longest weekend of my life!

Now, that is some fascinating stuff. Last month it was that evolution was a plot by an ancient sect of Pharisees (read: Jews) in an attempt to discredit Christian concepts of creation, making evolution a religion-based theory, and thus as religion it should not be taught in schools. Now it’s designation of April as ‘Confederate History Month’. Who in the hell elects these clowns?

Which is more important in your dating life: Luck, or the things you can control?

Things I can control..I am a huge control freak…but I have learned that as I get older you cant really control people or their actions..only yourself…and if I am dating someone who is not behaving the way I would like them too gives me a choice to either stay or go.

My only comment on the Confederate Holiday Month is borrowing a line from John Mayer “Everyone believes” If the state legislature believes they and their constitutes want a Southern Hertiage Month then so be it. It doesn’t affect me in the least. I firmly believe that if you dont read history(all history) then you are doom to repeat it. By the way Confederate Memorial Day is celebrated in April and the state holiday is taken on the 4th Monday of the Month.

Danggit y’all done went and made me M.A.D.D.. I just made reservations for the Hilton across the street. I could only get two suites ‘cause that’s all the cash I have. I can’t be renting hotel rooms on my credit card. The man might get crazy on me. He knows he ain’t been up in there with me so….So yall have to make it do what it do. He should be asleep around 12 or 1am, I hope. I am going to come back by here around 3am and make sure everybody is settled in.

*Ling walking out the blog bar door (after handing stranger some money) suddenly hears a baritone voice that says “fishnets”… realizing that she’s late for her meeting that was scheduled at 3, she saucily bounces back into the bar, and eyes Blue Feeling Friendly, Flirty and Irish, she goes behind the bar, gets the whole bottle of champagne and brings it to Blue never saying a word, and walks back out the bar.

Ling makes mental note of Slims’s shenanigans in the DJ booth,.. that girl trying to play some Barry Mannilow… dayum…
