Laney is 24 and a native Yankee who has been living in the South for several years. She’s a sucker for warm weather and Southern hospitality (and Southern cooking, and Southern accents), but she’s also a major city girl who’s always excited to explore the hot spots around a place like Atlanta.
And like any good woman in a newsroom, she takes her cues from Lois Lane – chasing after a hot tip or chasing down her man whenever the time is right.
