Crime & Punishment

Some incidents reported to the Sandy Springs Police over the past week:

A woman robbed the Wachovia Bank in the 8700 block of Roswell Road. Afterwards, she ran behind the bank where the money exploded and turned everyone red. She ran to the Publix, changed clothes, and then ran over to Hope Road and Dunwoody Place where she tried to catch a bus at the bus stop. Didn’t work out for her. Twenty-two-year old Chanel Monae Gaskin is in Fulton County Jail charged with the robbery of the bank and another Wachovia in DeKalb County earlier this month. Look, if your getaway plan includes a bus stop, you probably need to go back to the drawing board.

Signs you need a new roommate

Gregory called and reported a theft and the following story: He allowed a guy named Craig to move into his apartment. They verbally agreed that Craig would help with the rent. After a short time, the place was a mess and Gregory suspected Craig was on a booze and/or drug bender. Shortly thereafter, he noticed $320 missing from his account and two cameras were missing. Craig’s girlfriend, now in transition to ex-girlfriend, called and said Craig had taken his bank card. She offered to help set him up for arrest. Gregory said he doesn’t know if he wants to prosecute. He wants Craig back in rehab.

Clean out your car so you don’t get cleaned out

Someone stole the victim’s car-charger for her phone while the car was parked for servicing. (When you leave a car for service, take everything you like out of it, especially if it’s in for the night.)

Don’t forget to stash your GPS units, remembering they are VERY popular with our crooked friends right now.

Steve, Steve, Steve. You bad boy. You are going to get scolded by disgruntled Yankees for this column. You have once again “enabled” the criminals………

Don’t ask ME how, I’m not a damn disgruntled Yankee, but just let lil booger or whatever her name is get her foul mouth into this……..

Female bank robbers are very, very rare. (The security cameras add at least ten pounds.)

This diabolical woman’s plan was sound. She robs the bank, gets painted red and catches a bus. (hey, isn’t that the plot to “Ocean’s 13”?) Then, she was planning to switch busses, a fiendish manuever which would have completely thrown off any pursuit. That must have been what she went in with: the never-before-tried bus switch. Not even Ma Barker……

She should get probation.

She should have changed into a clean burka before trying to catch a bus. Oops!

THIS WAS NOT A STUPID ACT ON THE ROBBERS PART,WHAT IT REALLY IS IS AN ACT OF GOD. GOD DECIDED TO SAVE THIS YOUNG WOMAN,HE SET IT UP SO SHE COULD BE CAUGHT WITHOUT BEING SHOT BY POLICE,OR BETTER YET ROBBED AND KILLED HERSELF BY OTHER CRIMINALS. THIS WAY WHICH SEEMS STUPID IS ACTUALLY A BLESSING THANK GOD SHE CAN NOW START THE TRANSFOMATION TO BECOMING A PRODUCTIVE YOUNG CITIZEN.

That is so admirable, frank, that you would defend your mother that way. You’re a good son. Here’s a cookie.

Frank….you’re not to bright are you? Your post screams of liberlism and protecting the undepriviledged minority. I recommend that you try OBAMA’s website….maybe he’ll come to rescue and provide you with such insight. Woe be the minority. This woman is completely stuck on STUPID and deserves what she gets…I have a novel idea….why don’t stand trial for her and see if that helps her poor disenfranchised soul.

A “productive citizen”? She’s apparently on her way, she’s already robbed two banks. She’ll have to wait to be a productive citizen AFTER she gets out of federal prison. Frank, people like you give me a headache, you’re nothing but a clueless moron.

Frank, did you say moron, or mormon? You’re very political, sir. Did you mispell five words or six? In all the shouting with all the caps flying around, (you really popped a cap in our sass!), I kinda lost track myself. So you have to ask yourself one question: are you feeling huckabee?

. it’s important.

OJ and Charles Manson have good qualities????

To me, they each share one bad quality: they still breathe!

There’s a great joke about Charles Manson that just never gets old: He’s up for parole, and he’s about to go to the parol board meeting and he’s in his cell, adjusting his tie, looking in the mirror, and of course he’s still got the crazed eyes, the swaztika carved with a knife in his forehead, and he asks his cellmate, “What do you think, the red tie? Or the Blue?”

Well all I can say is “just damn”. It was obvious to me that Frank’s first post was tongue in cheek. Come on people, lighten up.

Mr. Foreskin: Nice joke. I never heard it (or read it before) but it was cute.

Frank: If you are an internet noob, typing in all caps is the equivalent of shout all bug eyed with spittle coming out at folks and a foaming of the mouth like a rabid dog. If you are NOT an internet noob then F you, quit shouting.

Cassie: I don’t care who you arte, that was funny. OJ and Charlie are definitely oxygen thieves aren’t they?

And lastly, where the hell are El Bubba and Cindy? Think they took a little elicit trip to New York for “pictures?” If so I wanna see the pictures…….

I’m periodically lurking; a mental getaway of sorts. Actually in the process of moving right now and spare time is non-existant. Dang. I really hate moving. My feet hurt, my knees hurt, my eyes are sleepy, my arms are exhausted…but there’s still soooo much to do. :( El Bubba hasn’t whisked me away to New York yet. When he does, we’ll share the pictures with you.

Mostly I just haven’t had anything to say. I’ll get back in the groove soon though and give Sting something to fuss about.

Thanks, Fred

Amen Cassie, but remember, you are part of the mix now and we have high expectations for you.

Cindy, you find out who your REAL friends are when you move. Real friends are not the ones who come move boxes, they are the ones who give you the name of a good mover with reasonable prices.

Remember this: Everey “friend” that helped you move has a reasonable expectation that YOU will help them move. Instead of moving once, you move X times the number of friends who helped you move. I would much rather move one time.

I will go back to looking at my new Vick’s Secret Catalog now…

(AP) A Glenn County sheriff’s deputy shot a man with a Taser gun for allegedly riding his bike at night without proper lighting.

According to a sheriff’s spokesman, the bicyclist ignored warnings from the deputy he would use the stun gun, then fled on foot.

One probe struck the bicyclist, Omar Herrada Rivera, 39, but he did not receive a shock.

After being checked out at a hospital, Rivera was held in the county jail on suspicion of resisting arrest, riding a bicycle without proper lighting, riding under the influence of alcohol and using false citizenship government documents.

The sheriff’s spokesman said the deputy’s decision to use the Taser was proper.

The question is: did the officer provide his instructions en espanol?

Also…what gives with tasing a dude riding a bike. Did he have a weapon? Not that this is the full story, but it doesn’t seem reasonable to me.

Gee cassie, thanks a hell of a lot for being disappointed that it was only me that posted. I take back three of the nice things I have said about you, but with proper butt kissing you can get two of them back.

Cassie: Sometimes cops get a little free with their authority. The “You better by god stop and listen because I say so” mentality is rampant. Basically Barney Fife found him a beaner to torment. The unlit Hispanic dude was OBVIOUSLY a terrorist with a nuke in his pants and needed to be brought down RIGHT NOW. hispanics grew up in a culture rife with crooked cops and Barney helped re inforce this idea. Good job Barney. You made America safe from unlit bicyclists. Hoo raw.
