Crime & punishment

Officers said that around 5:30 a.m. they attempted to pull over a BMW. The BMW pulled into a parking deck and according to the officers, the driver drove recklessly, laying drags and fishtailing. The driver ended up at the dead end so he tried to back up, almost hitting the police car. The driver was taken from the car and arrested for Reckless Driving, Disorderly Conduct, and Impersonating Steve McQueen.

Impersonating a celebrity During a traffic stop at 5:30 a.m. officers were approached by two girls who were obviously intoxicated. The girls demanded to know why the driver was being arrested. The two were belligerent so the officers told them to go back to their apartment. They did not. Paris and Nichole continued to argue with the officers until the point where the officers said either go inside or go to jail. Paris did so but Nichole began yelling at the officers. They arrested her and she then said she was sorry and would now go inside. She was arrested.

Impersonating a car thief A 22-year old man was arrested for breaking into a car around 2:15 a.m. It appears the man was trying to steal the car. He couldn’t get it started so he tried to push it. Unfortunately for him, an off-duty officer was working an extra-job at the location. The man was arrested.

Very costly groceries This victim was placing groceries in her car at 4920 Roswell Road.. She said a car, described as an older Ford Crown Victoria, white in color, drove by and then exited quickly from the parking lot. She then found that her purse had been taken from her shopping cart. (Strap the purse to the cart and then when loading the car, remove the purse first.)

This victim was placing groceries in her car at 227 Sandy Springs. She said a car, described as an older Ford Crown Victoria, white in color, drove by and then exited quickly from the parking lot. She then found that her purse had been taken from her shopping cart. (Strap the purse to the cart and then when loading the car, remove the purse first.)

*Now that you know one of the suspect’s vehicles is an older Ford Crown Victoria, white in color, you should look for this car every time you’re in the parking lot of either of these two Kroger Stores. Drop a dime and let us know if you see it.
