Crimes & miscellaneous
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
A victim said that he was in the hospital for two days. When he got home he discovered that someone took his living room and dining room furniture.
Smoked ‘em out Two dummies, ages 17 and 18 were arrested as they sat in their car around 6 p.m. after an off-duty officer saw them smoking pot in the car. The officer said you could barely see inside the car due to the smoke, ala Cheech & Chong. The report said the car tried to leave but only reached about 12 MPH. The driver said he tried to get away but couldn’t handle the high-speed chase…..you see the driver was stoned and perhaps thought the car was going much faster…it was a joke…..let’s move on.
Suing city hall A woman called the police and told the arriving officer that she tripped over a wire in a construction area, fell down, and was injured as a result. She wanted a report so “I can sue the (%$^&$^) out of the city! It turned out the woman had been in the construction zone for a while and had prevented the crew from working. The wire she said she tripped on was actually buried. When the officer gave her the bad news, she cursed at him and so she was arrested.
We all can’t get along There were 5 additional arrests for domestic violence last weekend and another seven during the week. Try to get along. It’s much less paperwork.

Detective Rose, It’s a shame that you would choose to use this forum to make light of domestic violence.
