Screaming meanies

A 21-year-old female was arrested after she drove up to the scene of a traffic pullover and began yelling profanities at the two officers who had stopped a car at Kingsport Drive and subsequently found some marijuana.

The woman cursed at the officers, left and then a short time later returned with another female who, along with the first female, cursed the officers.

The two very mean women went to jail, where I’m sure they yelled at the people there and other prisoners.

This is a case for the lawn ranger

Around 9 p.m. the victim said he found a man in his Old Woodbine Road driveway trying to load the victim’s lawn mower onto a pickup truck. The victim asked the man what he was doing. The man replied he was returning the lawn mower. The perp walked over and ripped off his tag so the victim couldn’t identify it, told the victim he was homeless and then left in the white truck.

Carrying the tools of his trade

Around 1:50 a.m. at I-285 and Roswell Road, following a traffic stop, a 29-year old man was arrested after the officer found the man’s driver’s license was suspended. The officer noted the man was very nervous and eventually found out why. The man was a convicted felon. The car contained two ski masks, eight flex cuffs, three hand guns, black BDU pants and seven cell phones.

This would be very consistent with items used in home invasions. The man is charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, driving with a suspended license and a traffic charge. An extensive follow-up will be conducted.
