Too many video games can be harmful
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
A juvenile came into the store carrying a backpack. He went to the electronics section and played video games in the game-testing area.
He then took several games and walked around the store for a while before ending up in the restroom, where he opened the games and put them in the backpack, all in the presence of the security people who let him walk out and pass the registers before they detained him.
He was released to his mother pending a hearing date.
Buy a drink, get a drill for free?
This guy was charged with shoplifting at a home improvement store when he picked up a cordless drill and then walked to the concession area and got an orange soda.
He walked to the checkout area and paid for the drink while holding the cordless drill in his hand. He then walked out of the store and was detained by the security person, who called the police.
The man was charged with shoplifting and released on a copy pending his court date.
Steak out
An employee of a grocery store saw a man put four steaks in his jacket and attempt to leave the store without paying for them.
He was detained and the police called. The man didn’t have any ID on him and told the officer he was homeless. He was taken to FC jail.
He snoozed and losed
The victim said a female friend came over and during the evening hours he fell asleep from about 7 to 11 p.m. When he woke, his female friend and his car, a 2000 BMW-740I, were gone.
Brawl gets bigger
The police were called to a restaurant on a call of a fight. The officers said they saw a crowd outside in the parking lot.
Two men, originally fighting inside the bar, were put out by the bouncers.
Shortly thereafter, a larger version of the fight took place with several people in the parking lot. Several people were arrested.
