The REAL question about Georgia
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
Augusta—I think I’m detecting a pattern here.
I’ve taken a bunch of calls from radio shows this week and they all have asked basically the same two questions:
1) Is Georgia good enough to win the national championship?
2) Can Georgia handle the hype that will come with these great expectations?
When I hit the front door of Augusta National yesterday, two guys wearing Georgia hats stopped me and wanted to know exactly the same thing.
Here are the answers I gave to all of them.
1) Yes. But there will be about 10 teams good enough to win the national championship in 2008. If last season taught us anything, it’s that no matter how good a team is, there is certain amount of good fortune involved when it comes to winning a national championship.
LSU, you’ll recall, was supposedly finished when the Tigers lost to Arkansas on the day after Thanksgiving. But good fortune stepped in and gave LSU another chance. LSU probably had the best team in the country when the Tigers were healthy but if Missouri and West Virginia don’t lose on Dec. 1, Les Miles and the gang never get the chance to prove it.
Until we get some kind of playoff, just being good will not be enough to win the national championship in most years. You’ve got to be good AND a little lucky.
2) It’s up to the leaders on this football team. If Georgia has good leaders, and I think they do, the Bulldogs can handle the hype that will inevitably be coming their way. That’s not the issue.
Georgia has talent. Lots of it, in fact. And handling the hype is a much bigger deal to fans that it is to the players.
What they might not be able to handle is playing LSU and Florida in back to back weeks away from Athens. Even if you win in Baton Rouge, you’ll be physically beat up. If you count Florida as a road game, Georgia will play at Baton Rouge, Jacksonville, Lexington, Ky., and Auburn on consecutive weeks. It would take some research, but I’m guessing there aren’t many teams with four straight road games like that.
What they not be able to handle is going against six coaches who have won national championships. There are five in the SEC and one at Arizona State (Dennis Erickson).
What they might not be able to handle is a key injury at the wrong time. What happens to Georgia in 2005 if a healthy D.J. Shockley plays against Florida?
What Georgia fans need to be concerned about right now is not how this team handles the pressure from the outside. It’s what happens from the inside. Over the years I’ve found that national championship teams usually have one thing in common. There are a few guys who set the standard for the rest of the team. And if you don’t meet that standard, they will call you out.
The players on the 1996 national championship team at Florida pretty much toed the line because they didn’t want to answer to Donnie Young or Jeff Mitchell, who were two very tough offensive linemen.
At Tennessee in 1998 it was linebacker Al Wilson. Al was a great football player and a true gentleman. But you did not want to make him mad.
That is what Georgia has to have if it hopes to successfully navigate what is to come.
The talent is there. The schedule is what it is. The question people should be asking about Georgia is this:
Will the players on this team do all the right things and stay intact between now and August? If you ask coaches, this is the scariest time of the year. The next few months are when a national championship can be lost before a team even gets on the field.

Yeah, the schedule is what it is. A true champion doesn’t complain, they conquer. They hold it together. They play through adversity. They ignore the hype. They play for one another. Somewhere lurking out there is a monkey waiting to jump on a back. Somewhere out there, coast to coast, is a program that reads they gotta prove themselves to a national audience. UGA could be this team, but they gotta earn it the old fashion way…and that’s where desire comes into focus. It began yesterday…Good luck to the Dawgs…Another SEC NC, if not UT, wouldn’t hurt me one iota…

You have got to get some breaks and have some luck. Ask LSU. We lose to LSU and Gators, we play in a mid-tier bowl. We beat those guys….and Auburn. Look out. Injuries….and the other guys woes all play a BIG part. I will enjoy people trying to stop our Offense. We can run and pass real real good. We will expose alot of defenses.

Health is a key issue for the Bulldogs, i.e., everyone has to avoid injuries. Overconfidence is another issue, i.e, being ranked number 1 can have a negative affect on kids who are 18 to 22 years old. The third issue for the Bulldogs is the Florida Gators. If the Bulldogs can stay healthy, maintain their composure, beat the Gators, and are liked by the media (“a little lucky” as Mr. Barnhart maintains), they’ve got as good a chance as anybody to play in the BCS Championship.

The schedule is very difficult, but also very manageable. There is an off week before Ufk to gear up for the difficult run of away games.
There is also a bye week before Gtu to lick wounds and prepare, hopefully, for the SECCG.
Also of note, no teams have bye weeks the week before playing UGA. Although Ufk and AU play Sisters of the Poor the week before UGA, they still have to play. Scu plays a Thursday night game the week before UGA, so they get a couple of extra days.
Most importantly, the Cocktail Party, which could be a national title elimination game will see two teams which are not coming off bye weeks for the first time in a long time.

Whitegoat, before we beat Florida last year we beat them in 2004. Before our slump in the 90’s we beat them I think it was 15 or 16 years in the 70’s and 80’s. We also lead the series 47-37-2. So you can’t even compare the two.

UGA is going to be good. Question: Are they lucky? I still think the 2006 LSU team was better then the 2007 team, but they weren’t lucky. In 2007, they had talent, schedule (FLA & AUB in BR) & luck - we don’t play in New Orleans if WVA & Mizzo don’t lose, but don’t forget that Va Tech comes on strong in the end, but we got them in BR earlier for a make up game after they rescheduled twice - & got lots of style points for that big win that carried over in the final vote. That was luck. I think UGA has to set its realistic sights on getting to Atlanta with only one lost. After what Florida & LSU has done in the past two years, win in Atlanta with one lose & they are in. Once they get to Miami, with that coach & that talent having 4 weeks to rest & get healthy, it’s 3 in a row for the SEC. For my money, & looking at what LSU did, I bet the farm on UGA in 2009 when the schedule is “right”.

I think Miles has a very good point about the danger of being over confident. I remember some years ago when the goal was to get to the Sugar Bowl and UGA opened the season against a horribly weak Wake Forest team. There were Sugar Bowl signs all around the stadium and the crowd was festive and looking forward to the blowout that was surely to come.
Lo and behold, Wake won the game. Grown men sat in the stands crying after the game and when the team left the field up the walkway, some of the UGA fans actually cursed them and yelled insults. It was a sad thing to observe.
Beware of overconfidence.

Contra: Yes we did lose to Wake in the opener of 1979… the year before the championship. It was one of Vince Dooley’s worst years, ironically followed by his best. Great analysis Tony… you hit the nail on the head. There are a thousand variables that will impact who goes to the championship next year. It is, nonetheless, really fun to ask these questions. Think about the fact that we were asking very different questions in the years before Mark Richt. One final note… we may lose one, maybe even two games this year, but there is no we lose to South Carolina… not a chance.

ASU will pull an upset. Then UGA will regroup and be better than ever rising to #1…winning everything with ease. Then they’ll play a one loss USC team (the real one) and reality will smack them the same way they clobbered Hawaii Junior College the year before. I suspect most UGA players will sit still, slack-jawed and lay down like one of Vick’s beaten pit dawgs. And again USC will say—I wish we could play in the SEC every year.

A former SEC head coach, who also coached under the legendary “Bear” once told an audience that to win a championship you have to have three things happen:Good players, good schedule, and “have the ball bounce the right way”, in other words some good luck along the way! If these ingredients come your way then you have a chance. The schedule is a tough one, it is what it is,so the other things need to fall into place. The players are there,so good decisions during the game, and some good luck(no major injuries),will take us a long way.Hey, haven’t one or two loss teams made it in the past? That’s also where some luck comes into play! But as they say, that’s why we play the games.

We all understand that tough losses are a fact of life in the SEC and that’s what makes the league great. That + Tradition + Exciting Rivalries. I’m looking forward to watching the Dawgs find a “rudder” to lead the O-Line. Hopefully, defense and overall depth will allow them to pull away from GSU and C Mich in the second halves of those games. Some of the young fellas could benefit from some live action before facing more daunting dog fights versus ASU, SCAR, etc….I love the degree of difficulty the schedule presents. Minooka’s Redneck moment: According to the immortal words of The Nature Boy Ric Flair, “To be the man, you gotta beat the man.” UGA will have that opportunity. Go DAWGS!!

First let me say that I am a Vol, but trying to be objective (and that is never easy). The biggest thing you Dawgs have to conquer is not whether you have the ability…you have that. What you have to overcome is that tendency you have to pen a big “W” you on the schedule before you play the game. Four years ago, we beat you when you had it all…Pollack, Greene, etc. You had the better team by far, but you were overconfident and did not play the game on the field.
You have the talent, now prove it EVERY week, or someone in the SEC WILL upset your applecart. It is what it is.

Remember when LSU came off a title in 2004? I believe we killed the Tigers with #1 Jamarcus Russell getting sacked and eventually put out of the game (first time he hurt his shoulder vs. UGA— the next time was in 2005 SEC Championship game!). Just be glad that South Carolina and Kentucky couldn’t kick a 30-yard field goal last year… Otherwise, UGA would be holding the SEC & National Title now. Every LSU fan I met at the Sugar Bowl said they were glad they didn’t play UGA in the title game… As the other fellow said before, getting and winning a National Championship is a game of luck as well as performance. You saw McFadden/Jones beat LSU by themselves? The Knowshon Moreno & Caleb King combo will make all of your defenders look stupid (see Florida and Auburn game of last year)…

The Dawgs lost a couple of good leaders last year. Thomas Brown, Kelin J to name a couple. Fortunately for us there are many leaders left and many more to step up. Yes the Dawgs have the leadership. Yes they have the talent and they have the depth. They have a schedule from hell but it doesn’t matter. It will only shine Georgia’s resolve and character. Luck? If at any point we need it, I hope we have it. You can’t recruit, teach or train luck. I feel confident we won’t need it. Georgia will field the best team week in and week out. Period

The problem here is that UGA will play teams who plan to win the nat champ every year. They’re used to it. Nat champ has not been a serious conversation at UGA in years so now there’s pressure that no one is used to.

I quite frankly think this whole discussion is absurd. People act like this Georgia team has had everything handed to them on a silver platter and they’ve never had to work for anything. Most of the guys on the ‘08 team know what happens if you aren’t minding your p’s and q’s: you lose to Vandy and Kentucky. Not only have they experienced adversity they also learned how to overcome it. Only a year and a half ago they were staring down the barrel of a possible losing season. Do you think the juniors and seniors on the ‘08 team have forgotten that? You don’t think the coaches remind them of it every chance they get? Show a little perspective. The veterans on this year’s team has been through hell and back. Overconfident? Only in your wildest dreams haters.

randy, the problem was play not expectation. Assumming the FANS penciling in the win, is the reason the TEAM didn’t win the game, is a pretty big stretch isnt it? Your team played better than ours on that occation, give them credit.

tim 3 things:
1. I’d bet you dont even know what bush league means. 2 If the players that had that lil dance IN THIER FACE didn’t respond, why would a different, a year later? 3. If you really think in the history of that series, that endzone penalty is seriously going to make anyone win any more than they already do, you really aren’t havent been paying attention.Admit it son, your team lost the damn ball game. Keep talking that trash though. Our boys love hearing all that. As much as possible please.

Good points in the post. 1)It takes a little luck, 2) Dawgs must stay injury free, 3) the schedule is brutal, 4)Ga must find leaders.
Hmmm, sounds like any team in the SEC to win a NC. Luck is when preparation meets opportunity (an old cliche), Lack of injuries are key in any teams success. UGA is fortunate to be very deep right now with talent, maybe not experience, but at least talent. QB Logan Gray, I believe is a very talented individual, if Stafford goes down he may have to step up. RB’s we have several talented young guys to back up Knowshon. Let’s hope they don’t have to. OL is deep, not extremely experienced, but their is size and skill. WR,none of them have really proven themselves and many will play this year. DL to me at least it seems as if they just keep reloading at these positions. LB again not a lot of experience, but a whole lot of talent to back them up. DB’s same as everywhere else. Players are going to have to step it up at every position.
The schedule is what it is, no need to complain about it. I for one am glad it is tough. We will prove to ourselves and everyone else just how good we are. As for leaders we need them to develop. Richt even said Stafford needed to step it and make this team his this year. I agree, Moreno did it last year and we don’t need him to slide back, we just need Stafford to step it up a few notches. The OL must also develop some leaders. The D must also have its leaders.
Their is no question Ga has a great challenge ahead of them. Any team with hopes of a NC has a huge challenge ahead of them. I believe GA will be up to that challenge. Go Dawgs.

Ah, The delusional COOTS from the school with no national name recognition. It does my heart good to see such idiocy by those whom I judge to be magna cum laud graduates of the school by the State Farmers Market Football Stadium. While we are exchanging good natured banter, let me inquire where are all of the great recruits the Old Ball Sack is luring to the Farmers Market? I only see one committ! Can you say tee time? Can you say direct deposit for OBS’s payment? Can you say good bye after this years 7 and 5 record when Steve moves to his new home in Florida? Think about it. How long do you keep a wife in Columbia after she has helped design your dream home in Florida? What is the longest a coach has stayed at SCUM? That is an interesting question, look it up for me.

CLICK CLACK, The only title hopes that will be crushed on September 13th will be the SCUM COOTS. We will have our way in the State Farmers Market Football Stadium just like our hard ball Dawgs had their way against the COOT baseball team. When are the COOTS going to win a College World Series? After hearing how great they are in baseball, I was surprised (not really)to see that they are “title less”. UGA won one in 1990. I can not imagine how difficult it must be to always wait until next year knowing that next year is never going to come. How sad!

It is a good thing Terrence Moore didn’t write the article. He would’ve still been b*** about DJ Shockley not getting a fair shake at Georgia. Terrence, DJ was backing up the winningest QB in NCAA history.

Roswell Ed,
Why don’t you actually BEAT USC before you bash them. Forgive me if I’m wrong but didn’t the Trojans beat you 23-17 and 23-0 in back-to-back years in 2002-2003? Plus, be glad you didn’t play them in the 2004 title game because you would’ve been shellacked again, kind of like what Wisconsin (LOL) did to you in 2005! Yep… it is starting to creep in, how can Uga lose to teams of the likes of Vandy, Kentucky and S.Carolina. Some much talent, resources and a great recruiting base which can be disrupted by the ole ball coach. While Alabama,LSU,Tenn. and Florida keeps moving ahead, the ole bull dawgs continue to wallow in their own mire. Now its teams like Kentucky, Vandy and S.Carolina which are catching up with the delusional mutts while they are so distracted by the talk of a MNC. AINT GONNA HAPPEN GO GAMECOCKS!

SOS Maybe Carolina can go to the trophy store and buy a trophy and put the date of last years UGA-SC game on the trophy and also put 16-12 on the trophy since SC is so proud of that game. Then they can put it in their barren trophy case next to your 2 Outback Bowl trophies and 1969 ACC Championship trophy. SC can start making their own trophies for individual games because they can’t keep it together and actually win something for a complete season. Pitiful team, Pitiful program. UGA accomplished more last season than SC has in 100+ years of football. Tell me about your Sugar, Fiesta, Rose, Orange or Cotton Bowl appearances. Short conversation because there are none. Why the continued chirping from this inferior program that just wants to have the spotlight on them once in their 100+ year history. Well I guess being ranked #6 and beating UK on a Thursday night game on ESPN will have to qualify as being on top of the mountain. Woo-Hoo. Too bad that was the first week in October and you never smelled a W the rest of the season.

The word should have been spelled HAY-ULL. We regret the error. Also, on the Georgia Tech front page We reported that Georgia Tech Coach Paul Johnson and His players attended The Atlanta School of Ballet, to increase agility and flexibility. We apologize for the error. Neither Coach Johnson nor His players attended the Atlanta School of Ballet. They went to the Cheetah III, where it is reported that the flexibility studies were a resounding success. However, the players agaility did not seem to be improved as They were leaving the Cheetah.

Correction, “inbred hillbilly red neck” is allowed when, and only when, refering to West Virginia, since They can’t read anyway.

Mr. B 1. Does C Mich have any “impact players” on either side to the ball who could present some problems for CMR’s FB team?
How do you measure the “intangibles” when evaluating the QB position?
Which True Freshman will make the biggest impact for his team next season: a)S Will Hill-UF, b)CB Charles Whitlock-SCAR, c)WR Julio Jones-Al d)WR Tavarres King-UGA e)QB Casey Kelly-TN ?
Thanks for your time!

To Gamecock Travis: Don’t worry about our awesome QB, you need to worry about keeping Garcia out of jail long enough to play. And to think his dad told Spurrier at the Masters, where they accidently met (go figure) that Garcia was a responsible young man. Guess USC and UGA have different meanings for responsible. The only reason you didn’t like the Dawg’s dance in the endzone in the UF game is because Spurrier isn’t smart enought to do things to motivate his players, he’s to busy degrading them on the sidelines. And never compare our awesome Coach to Spurrier, Spurrier doesn’t measure up to Coach Mark’s ankles!!!!!

Ok Blog Staff, you got me. I prostrate myself before you. Allow me to acquiesce. Your prescence here as the all knowing and all seeing AJC conquistador is truly mesmerizing. I should be flogged for such an inadequate attempt at humor. Please accept my most humble apology, and in the future, I shall make an attempt, albeit futile by your standards, to try and be more creative and “hip” and “cool” and “with it” and “down” and “word” and…and……and…..just forget it. Prd. Uga Mom…… You of all people should be appalled of the vulgarity of the Soulja dance and lyrics. If you are going to inject responsibility, you may need to take a hard look in the mirror. Coach Richt should evaluate himself as well and promote better sportsmanship. I think coach Spurrier over the years his coaching profession has displayed many times that he can motivate his team with out gimmicks like Coach Richt instructed his team to do in Jacksonville last season…. Mrs. Prd. Uga Mom , Richt needs to be careful or it will be he himself that won’t measure up!

The UGA fans are creating an atmosphere for a big let down if the Dawgs lose one or two. The reality is the Dawgs will be as good as 2007 but may have a worse record. What so you think the Dawgnation will do with another 9-4 season, and with this schedule, it is very possible.

Too bad I had to work, I missed out on some great ripostes. Too late for them now. The few I buzzed through were pretty good. I am working down the street from Furman “I used to use a telegraph” Bisher this week. I think about 200 yards. He has got better hours.
I think, no I know, that we are the best team to not have played a game in the 2008 season. If you disagree, I will compare our record to yours. In 2008, we are undefeated baby.. Bite that.
Just a little pre-teen humor. Think I was a pre-teen before the Beatles broke up.
Zeb, keep on blogging. A few more and I will nominate you to the All-Blog team.
Alt, the coast is looking good right now. More 14 hour days for the next seven days and I may take a Kenny Chesney.
What is the football topic other than the haters, we are losers. Yeah we lost our way right into the number two team in the nation last year. Hey if we can do that with an SECC, count me in.
Long summer of blogging ahead, buckle up, it will be a wild ride.
Happy Masters everyone.

Mr Eddis….the third….stevenson, you sir, remind me of Thirston Howell. I, for one, sir, think you are a fraud. If you are not a tech fan in disguise, then I suggest you take a stroll down Reality Street. It’s a very informative place and it’s chocked full of loads and loads of fun!! There are so many shops on that street. Start with “Tight liberal azzes are Us”, then you can visit “Bed, Bath and I’m a pu$$y”, oh wait, then you can go to “Ima Homo Depot”, but let’s not forget “Circut Sissy” for all your fine electronic needs. If you are for real, which I doubt, it’s pompous azzes like you……..that get beat up a lot. I can’t believe that someone like you, who is obviously much more intelligent than your average Joe, would take the time out of your day to even respond to the drivel that is a blog about a barbaric sport such as football. I would guess that the talk around the clubhouse is about which tennis match was won, or who won the Atlanta’s Best Lawn……or, dare I say…..which recipe made Emerill’s show this week. If you are for real, please do us all a favor and MOVE TO FRANCE!!!! And just so you know, NO, I’m not homophobic, I just hate idiots!!

Considering how screwed up The BCS is I believe having a brutal schedule will work to our advantage.
I think Tony is on the mark on both counts. The Dawgs have the maturity and confidence to go all the way this season. The ball can bounce either way in a close game and as an Auburn buddy of mine says when two SEC Teams are playing each other, ” I’d rather be lucky than good .”

Mr. Zeb….If you insist, I will tell you that I have a fondness for college football. My opinion was stated about sportsmanship, which obviously is something you don’t think has that much of importance. The last time I checked ,I was living in the United States of America. Opinions are a form of freedom of speech and therefore can be expressed. Yes , even you are allowed to express your opinion Sir. Isn’t that just wonderful? Please ! We have another spelling correction, in Our last post You will see the word flexible, that is incorrect. The correct spelling is “Damn Coach, She just bent over backwards and sucked Her own big toe!”. We regret the error. Your intrepid reporter will be at Cheetah III tomorrow night to verify the facts in the case. Nothing is too good for Our readers.Eddie Stevenson III, I knew Thurston Howell III, and You are no Thurston Howell! We are sure there were offenses in Your post, but We found Them too boring to get past the first sentence. We are not sure about Festus and Cletus, as We could not decipher Their language. We have sent a copy of each to Our Eastern European desk for further study. Zeb, Zeb, Zeb, did You not read the rules on profanity? One more slip up Buddy and it’s seven lashes with UGA’s leash. Two more and UGA will be wearing the leash at the time! Have You ever been flogged with an angry sixty pound bulldog? Let Me tell You, it ain’t pretty! Just got off work picking up rich people’s Master’s trash. Funny it smells like poor people’s Labor Day trash.
Please don’t beat Zeb with UGA. It might hurt the Dawg and Zeb could brag to all his friends about how close he got to that damn good dawg.
Zeb, pay no attention to Thurston Howell, he is a natttering naybob of negativity. Say that after five shots of tequila.
Look the Dawgs will be good, possibly great. If the ball bounces our way, the sky is the limit. One unlucky bounce and maybe not so much.
shane, forgot to agree with you that South Georgia is indeed God’s country before the g-nats hit. Here in my forward observation post on the Savannah river, it is pretty nice also. Gotta keep an eye on that chicken coop across the river.
Well good night guys, gotta get up in less than four hours and start it all over again. No days off Master’s week.

Cuz, I wish I could be with You as You walk those hallowed grounds, even if it’s just to pick up trash. I haven’t been on the blogs much, too much smack talk, and the fish are biting. Those big old bucketmouth bass are moving into the shallows to feed late in the afternoon. When you see that water swirl behind a top water plug it is such a thrill. It’s like walking into Sanford Stadium on a game day afternoon and seeing all that red. Man, what a rush! We are supposed to get some bad weather today, guess I will go to my Friend’s house and watch the Masters. My friend is a good little golfer, so good that i don’t play with Her and Her friends, I just drive the cart and drink beer. Golf is too much like work to be enjoyable anyway. Now I watch the LPGA with Her, or rather, she watches the LPGA, I watch Paula Creamer. MAN!!!! The Lord Has blessed that Child! Perfect “form”, and the sweetest little “backswing” You ever saw. If the Ladies want to play Augusta all They need to do is send little Paula up there in one of Her little pink mini outfits. Those old farts will be following Her around like puppy dogs!

Tony,
You get an “amen” from me on most of what you said. However, I take exception with the following:
“LSU, you’ll recall, was supposedly finished when the Tigers lost to Arkansas on the day after Thanksgiving. But good fortune stepped in…”
Tony, what you call “good fortune” I call bias. LSU jumped several teams in the polls. If those teams were good enough to be ranked ahead of LSU before the SEC Champ, then they were good enough to be there after LSU won it. LSU did get lucky, I guess, but it was luck that most people could see coming in the final weeks of the season. You could see it coming in the comments of the poll voters. You could see that “luck” coming in the comments of people like Mark Mays and Kirk H. and many, many, more talking heads on networks large and small all over the country. News writers joined the chorus of those crowning Ohio State and LSU the two best teams in the country and voters made it happen. It was not blind luck…it was bias.
It doesn’t matter if UGA won their conference or not. Conference championships are not supposed to be considered a prerequisite for the BCS. We don’t have a playoff yet. Ohio State didn’t play a championship. They played what most of the same talking heads say was a weak schedule. Yet somehow, they remained number one going into the bowl season. The BCS is a biased beauty contest that is not about competition. It makes college football’s NC nothing more than a Saturday morning cartoon. It is not worth watching (except for the cute cheerleaders). We need a playoff or we need to abandon the farce of a NC.

Aikendawg, Keep that broom handy for football season. You may need it. Zeb, there was a good article in the Albany Herald about one of Our local Boys that has really made a name for Himself on the FSU baseball team, “Buster” Posey. Posey started out as a shortstop, did some pitching, and is now playing catcher for the ‘Noles. He is also one of Their closers on the pitching staff. He is a junior, but is a projected first round MLB draft pick at catcher. If so He will turn pro and skip His senior year. Buster is a good kid from a fine family and Lee County is very proud of Him. Buster’s little brother joined Him on the Nole’s team last year. BTW, We have a heck of a baseball program here and several LCHS baseball players recieve schollys every year.

Allright home for the retarted. Get the tards off the computer and get back on subject. UGA does have a very difficult task ahead of them this year but if they stay focused on each game and stay healthy, they won’t have any problem winning the nc. UF has enough problems at RB and on D and UT will have their a*******es handed to them. LSU is losing too many guys and the rest are getting arrested and AU will bow down again. The rest aren’t worth mentioning!
