Northeast snowstorms cancel Atlanta flights
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
Air travelers headed to the northeast may want to make sure their flight has not been canceled before heading to the airport.
Gina Laughlin, a spokesperson for Delta Air Lines, said the airline had canceled 40 flights for Wednesday, largely due to snow and ice making a mess of airports from Washington, D.C., to Boston.
Other airlines have also canceled flights to the northeast, but exact numbers were not immediately available. Travelers should check with their carrier if they are leaving tonight.
Laughlin said Delta is expected to have a normal schedule Thursday because the storm affecting the northeast should pass overnight.
