I hope that Josh Anderson will the starting CF this year. He brings speed that we have been missing for a long time. Homeruns are over rated. Speed on the bases gets in the pitcher’s head more than just one at bat. If a fast runner is on base, the pitcher has to think about that runner stealing bases, and he doesn’t concentrate as much on the hitter. Usually, the batter gets better pitches to hit. So far this spring, the Braves have been running a lot more. Maybe Bobby will finally see what that can lead to.
