You got ripped off on that first ref review, the receiver caught the ball out at the five and stretched for the end zone, broke the plane of the goal line but the zebras called it a “incompletion” because the ground jarred it loose.

That last Steeler series was rather lame, a dropped TD pass and then letting the clock run out on the field goal try. Not to mention another blown call by the zebras, if that was roughing the kicker, then I am a Chinese woman.

Sorry Corporal - but your figures from Fox are not correct. Apples and oranges. The Obama inauguration is scheduled to cost about $150 million, compared with $40 million or so for Bush. So far so good, right? Here’s the difference - the figure for Bush didn’t include security… when that’s included the costs are much closer. And I’m sure that you would agree that increased security is essential during these times.

Has anybody heard any reports on the injured player that was carried away on a stretcher? It sounded like his neck was fractured. He was able to move his arms and legs so that was good news.

Well, the roads were awful clear this a.m. Must be because of all the morans heading to D.C. to watch the Worst President in History get swore in. I guess this is the last day I can hope for Trickle Down to work. It’s for sure this Obama will put a stop to it. I’m going to miss My President. He always talked like us rednecks talk. Which is one reason we always liked him so much. You got the feeling he could show up at your trailer door just about any time. This Obama talks like he’s reading from a pointy-headed book.

I watched that Steelers game yesterday, me and little Sonny Zell George and a couple bags of fried pork skins and a case of PBR. It looked like a 50-car pileup on I-75, what with all the players getting carted off or limping off the field. They need to start playing touch football so a whole bunch of players won’t get hurt. They pay them millions of bucks and then put them out there where they could be useless with one bad tackle. Or else just keep a couple ambulances on the sidelines with plenty of Drs. and such.

Anyhow, this is the first time I realized Sister Dusty is a football fan. It figures. She’s always kind of brutal to people she don’t like, including me and even the Immortal Soul of Captain Freedom. And she’s kind of built like a lineman.
