My question is this. If these would have been photos of McCain, do you think the MSM would have held them during the campaign??

You bet your sweet bippy they WOULD NOT have.

The complete bias of our MSM is so apparent that they must be fought as hard as the liberal candidate in the next campaign. Sadly, they have sold their political souls and are part of that political party.

Did you hear about the death of both “deep throat” and the “silent majority” coiner? Conservatism’s death is taking the living iconic slang with it.

Of course, Sen. Craig lip-synched taps, with his flag at half mast.

Everyone keeps saying that Obama’s administration will produce the change that’s already here. The truth is that Bush’s administration produced the change that is already here.

Bookman refers to Iraq as if he just got off a space ship. We aint never gonna git outta Iraq. We are there forever, Bookman. BOOKMAN! You may get your little facts straight, but you’ve never been able to editorialize a spin that harvests truth.

Obama’s latest backpeddling about a withdrawal illustrates my deadly accurate vision about our future in Iraq. It’s the 51st state, New Alabama.

We cant leave Iraq because to do so would destroy us after the chain of events that would ensue enveloped us. Can you leave natural resources unguarded in an area surrounded by tribal and sectarian radicals? Can the loss of those resources be absorbed by an already crumbling world economy?

We aint never gonna git outta Iraq, and if I read Bookman write one more syllable of ignorant pontificating about geo-political strategy I think I’ll drink a can of 10W40.

Oz never did give nothing to the tinman, (oil) that Dorothy didn’t bestow the night before. (dipstick reference inserted here).

Bookman. Pretender. Maybe if he had read more instead of standing around acting like a big shot journalist. Who wants to bet That someone gave this poor sport a break early in his career when he should have been fired and forced to sell earth shoes for a living? And now the rest of us have to suffer. Ditto Wooten. Some poor judge of character gave Wooten the big break early on and look what we’re stuck with…..

It proves that there cant possibly be a god.

You aint no big shot, Bookman. Writing is for humble, pure, and childlike minds. You’re the spelling bee equivalent of a thug.

A little of the old with the new — blues, that is. You folks need to learn your blues.

By Thad Charris

December 19, 2008 10:18 PM | Link to this

Hey! How many of us would rather stick an ice pick in our ears than click on Andy’s idiot choice for the blues?

Andy, I know that I have to share this planet with who is already here. But you do try a person. You have no point of view, except to exist as a sound, (dictionary definition of passed gas. Look it up, and there’s a picture of one of andy’s blogs). Typical Andy blog: moonbat, liberal, tax and spend, leftist, etc

Okay, folks, I took you through the campaign, and I mostly didn’t read any of your mouth-foam, but I did read some. The reason I only skim blogs is that there’s no payoff. Partisan rants are totally useless and you know what the conclusion is by the third word. If there is a conclusion, usually there isn’t. If you’re all amused by that, then you can see why I cant respect any of you. I dont apologize, but you should. I understand why you seek to emulate my style, voice, and tone, after all, I do have a certain flair and it really does make an impact, and I thank you for being so aware of me, but if just one of you would ever complete one blog on your own with your own voice, well, then I’ll respect you…fair ‘nuff?

This is my end of the year review and ratings blog. In the next few days, you will know where you stand in the world of blogging, for which I am most qualified to judge, for I am the BlogFather and as such, as I see fit, and can tell, these rankings are official. Is there one person out there who doubts that?

Didn’t think so. So, stfu, and read…

But andy first. I know that words have power, but who would think that a couple of lines of teasing from me a few years ago would unhinge your very foundation, as a writer and a thinker, and a human being. I think it’s poor parenting, (Wooten is correct here about parental guidance to stem the tide of total sociopaths taking over blogdom), and by my God in heaven I swear that it’s a damn shame that your mother didn’t raise you to be a nicer girl.

Andy’s Grade: C+ (dont quit your day job. Bloggers are born, not made.)

Next student 2B graded: Dusty

stay tuned for Dusty’s grade.

I look back on this year, and what a blast the campaign provided. A writer’s dream of material appeared nearly every week with this revelation and that blooper. It’s slow now, but that didn’t stop Luchovich from dredging up Cheney and torture today. Let it go, Lucko.

Cartoonists are notorious hacks. They steal from street people, man. They think because they draw with originality, (which is no more a talent than individual penmanship which is also unique to each person), that they can steal material.

They cant. They’re hacks, and they need to get religion or a hobby, or take up yoga or anything but draw funny ears on a political leader and then win a pulitzer prize because the ear thing was so clever.

More proof, folks, that there’s no god…..

To AJC/DNC Yo @ Corporal—

You have a moron for President that just stuck his hand in your pocket and took a bumch of your money to throw it away.

You have your alma mater the Secret Service who has just been heavily sanctioned in court for a history of racist bias practices (no surprise there) by a Magistrate in the DC Circuit who has found that the Secret Service disobeyed court orders and lied.

And your worried about Bippies and some goofey picture/drawing that remotely resembles Obama—and your quoting one of the biggest morons on a fake news station about a picture that means nothing to me.

Let’s see: Obama was smoking a joint if that picture is accurate—is that what you purport years ago. And so f*cking what. Pot should be legalized. It’s a quantum leap medically safer than booze. And there a s** of alcoholics in government including the Secret Service, judges, DOJsters.

I failed to appreciate your point. And it is?

A couple of points son in response to your rambling diatribe:

1) The Secret Service is appealing that decision (sounds like a runaway magistrate to me).

2) After a successful appeal (I believe) the Secret Service has stated they will put on evidence showing that African Americans (and women for that matter) were promoted ahead of white males.

3) Following is an editorial letter I wrote on this very subject that was published on 12/15/07 in the AJC.

Saturday Talk

For the Journal-Constitution Published on: 12/15/07

THREE IMPORTANT POINTS ABOUT SECRET SERVICE LAWSUIT

Having retired from the U.S. Secret Service after 27 years of service, I feel compelled to respond to “Secret Service on bias hot seat” (Page One, Dec. 8). Space does not permit me to address all of the issues involved except for three important points.

Number one, to allege any type of discrimination is often far from the truth.

Number two, it is my understanding that the majority of African-American Secret Service agents past and present did not desire to become part of this civil suit.

Number three, during my 14 years as a supervisor in the Atlanta field office I served under two special agents in charge who were among the finest public servants and people I have ever known. Both were African-American.

The Chanuka Boomarang in the face award goes to one Little Shana Madoff whose job title is Compliance Officer for Madoff Investments. Shana went to law school, and is married to a former 4th Circuit Law Clerk who worked for the SEC but not enough pillow talk has come her way, apparently.

She alleges she has lost a substantial amount of money to the Ponzi scheme of her uncle. Shana was Compliance Officer and couldn’t insure the compliance to protect her own money. And her daddy was General Counsel. Clients were told the fairy tale that they were earning 10% a year when in fact they weren’t. What’s going to happen to that fictional 10%?

Well it ain’t never been so it ain’t never gonna be.

So what did all you girls and boys learn this year about regulation of the financial sector? You learned that Phil Graham and all the de-regulators like Paulson might not have been so bright. But look at it this way—your holiday season is brighter ‘cause you don’t have none of your millions in the Madoff firm.

Bernie bought stocks>traded options and the numbers wouldn’t have made sense to a sixth grade arithmetic teacher. So…. why did a financial whiz, billionaire, power player like Mort Zuckerman not notice as his millions got packmanned up?

Good question.

A big shout out to brilliant Sarah Palin whose future in-law got busted for a probable meth lab or it seems now that the future son-in-law line was just a politically convenient piece of BS for ole SAY ruh to launch when the baby from Sarah and someone else or Bristol and Levi (who knows) showed up.

Could the greatest nuptials since Charles and Diana to be telivised like the death of the last Pople or Raegan (same difference) be called off? The world waits with baited breath.

By Chad Harris

Corporal—

I didn’t have any questions. And we all know as do my puppies that anytime a magistrate rules against DOJ (Secret Service’s counsel) they always appeal to the District Court, and if the District Court rules against them, well they can always spend my damn money appealing to the D.C. Circuit, and then they can spend more of my money launching a cert. petition to the S.Ct.

So I suppose your point is that they were saving their best “evidence” for later and didn’t want to waste it on the magistrate. Recent FRCP and FRCrP have expanded the roles for magistrates to play in civil and criminal cases.

And Corporal why are you getting a tight sphincter about whether someone smoked joints when he was a kid, or now for that matter? Who cares.

I’d rather have a bright competent President than the moron we’re getting rid of. He couldn’t have done more damage to this country.

Corporal —

Since I’m the only one of the two of us who regularly used to admit patients to the 8th floor of Grady (now psych is on the 13th) as well as caught patients in emergency rooms for years and years, maybe my evaluation of whether you need to be under psychiatric care would have a little more validity. And of the two of us by law, I can sign a 1013 and a 1021 and you can’t.

A little info for ya. When I was payin’ bills and in training I moonlit admitting patients to the 8th floor at Grady which moved to the 13th floor at Grady working for a cosmic $13 an hour so I could keep a roof over my head because residents weren’t paid much at all nor did we get much sleep working 36 hours on and 12 hours off. I used to get the head bleeds that Kenny Walkers little boys and girls missed because they were naive and inexperienced and thought they were crazy when in fact they had suffered acute epidural hematomas with a survival rate under the best of circumstances of 16% right Mr. Secret Service?:

Blood impinging against parts of your brain will make you look crazy—they taught you that in the SS didn’t they? 250 cc of blood impinging upon the right part of the respiratory center will stop your breathing.

And I understand that little minds like an ex SS Agent fling name calling and sh*t like “you belong on the whatever floor at Grady.” One difference between me and you besides that I understand federal law on a much deeper level than you do and have the precedents down in most circuits that you don’t as well as S. Ct. case law and the law reviews is that I took care of hundreds of patients at Grady and many other places, and trauma you would have called 911 over.

It’s not being wound tight when you understand what a clusterf*ck Bush and his administration have made of this country and I do. I doubt you begin to appreciate it with your Jim Wooten knee jerk reflexes and parotting of the crap spewed from the mouth of the imbecilic Hannity, Limbaugh and the Faux news morons.

You understand of course that almost every major f*ckup Bush continues to make is left in the hands of Obama and the next Congress. Oxycontin, a.k.a. “Hillbilly heroin” (Bookman - I’m not making this up, that is its street name), is a powerful opiate. Addiction to it is considered much harder to kick than cocaine addiction.

“From landing on the moon, to sequencing the human genome, to inventing the Internet, America has been the first to cross that new frontier because we had leaders who paved the way,” Obama said in announcing his selections in his weekly radio address. “Leaders who not only invested in our scientists, but who respected the integrity of the scientific process.” Now isn’t that a nice way of telling Bush and his Republican clan that they know nothing about leading either. Finally, after eight long years of the Republican party, led by the Bush administration, trying to return civilized man to the dark ages, we have someone taking office that believes that man’s brain is meant to do more than fill a void between one’s ears. If that’s what God had meant for us then he would not have given us such capacity to begin with. Of course that’s not to say that the loyal Republican base cannot continue to sit by and wait for 2012 or whatever day they so yearn for to come and save their lazy buttocks. The rest of us just don’t want them telling us that we have to join them.

A couple of points:

1) I hope you read my 11:06 above.

2) In any case, I don’t know your ethnicity, but if you have ever been denied a job/promotion because of your race/sex you know how that feels.

It happens to white people and men a lot in our politically charged environment/workforce.

3) Secret Service management has chosen to fight this because they know they are right. Most of them time, especially in private industry, management will cave just to avoid the publicity and attorney fees.

4) I hope the new incoming administration does not force them to cave in and settle. This needs to go to trial so the facts will come out.

5) Since you attacked me personally in your post, I will provide one additional fact.

During my tenure as supervisor of recruiting in the Atlanta field office we led all other offices in minority hires; not just percentage but total hires. That includes more hires than New York, Los Angeles, Chicago and Washington, D.C. to name a few.

You owe me an apology.

I referred to the rank of Corporal in my post, “The Corporal”. Notice how I used the word in the phrase “…from Corporal on up to the top levels…” Try not to take things out of context. Further, I can’t help it if the words hit home with you as a result of your inaccurate interpretation or any other reason for that matter. As for apologies, I don’t owe you anything for the reasons given above. I think you over-react. Of course, you could always turn the other cheek if you took my words personally and was hurt by them. Isn’t that the Christian thing to do. You did claim to also be a card-carrying deacon as well, didn’t you.

It will be one of the many enduring WTF questions about neo-cons and BushCo apologists.

Why their enmity towards knowledge and scientific truths?

And love for crusades in the sand.

The question is rhetorical, I know, but I guess if I believed in that voodoo and nonsense, I would have it too.

It’s no secret that many of these angry, close-minded, intolerant, fear-driven, emasculated, superstition-mongering monotheists would just love to go back to the “good old days” when their religion had total power, called all the shots and allowed NO heresy.

Damn Copernicus, Galileo, Darwin, Salk et al all to h&ll! Messin’ with the master(’s) plan.

But as noted above, the rest of us are not quite so eager to return to the Dark Ages.

You try to wiggle well my friend.

Turning the other cheek has to do with personal revenge. Taken in it’s proper context it has nothing to do with being accountable under the law, arguing a point of truth or even self-defense.

John 18:22 (New International Version)

When Jesus said this, one of the officials nearby struck him in the face. “Is this the way you answer the high priest?” he demanded.

You struck me verbally and I merely replied verbablly as Jesus did rather than remain silent.

Next question ….

From the oldest (2,000 B.C. ?) book in the Bible at a time when the greatest scientific minds thought the earth was on the back of a turtle, held up by Atlas or held up by four pillars.

Job 26:7

He stretcheth out the north over the empty place, and hangeth the earth upon nothing.

Blah, blah-

Roundly criticized back in 2001 for his position on stem cell research, the president’s resolve and strength to draw a moral boundary line to protect innocent unborn life has been vindicated. Despite the yammering that the president had hampered scientific progress in stem cell research, despite the vicious demagogy and false claims that if the president hadn’t placed restrictions on how federal funds were spent, people would rise and walk from their wheelchairs, scientists announced last week they could produce an embryo-free way to produce genetically matched stem cells. Or put another way, the president’s decision to draw a bright moral line against destroying human life while providing federal dollars for the first time to stimulate stem cell research has proven successful. The silence in the media about this remarkable development has been deafening.

A two decade scientific quest by researchers at the National Cancer Institute and elsewhere culminated in Food and Drug Administration’s recent approval of the HPV vaccine Gardasil. This is the first vaccine ever approved for use against cancer. It protects against infection from the two types of HPV that cause the majority of cervical cancers worldwide.

The Food and Drug Administration granted some form of approval to 18 different marketing applications for antiretroviral products, including easy-to-take dosage forms that have proven useful in the treatment of children with HIV/AIDS. In addition, the Center for HIV/AIDS Vaccine Immunology, a vaccine consortium established in 2005, is working to address key immunological roadblocks to HIV development and to design, develop, and test novel HIV vaccine candidates.

Through participation in the Influenza Genome Sequencing Project supported by the National Institutes of Health, scientists discovered that the spread of influenza is more closely related to the movement of people to and from work than from geographical distance and air travel. Computer models have been developed to predict how a pandemic flu would spread and the most effective ways to contain it. The genome project’s goal is to map complete genetic sequences of influenza virus isolates. As of October 2006, more than 1,644 isolates have been sequenced and released to GenBank.

In less than a year, the President’s initiative has reached millions of children and pregnant women, those most in need of assistance and intervention. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s malaria programs have helped design and implement the President’s goal to control and reduce malaria-related deaths by 50 percent in five years.Field staff from the CDC are currently in seven countries, and by the end of 2007, field staff will be present in all 15 targeted countries.

I like that last one, Bushie is cleaning up the damage done by the last democrat “scientific” crusade to ban DDT, which wound up killing 50,000,000 children, but hey, they saved a few birds.

Savages.

“The Corporal”,

If I wiggle, then you surely do writhe.

Turning the other cheek has to do with the absence of personal revenge. Taken in its proper context, it’s the implementation of God’s law.

Now, do you have a problem with my verbiage. If so, take it up with John.

Thank you - you’re catching on and you make my point. Revenge is wrong. Speaking truth in a reply or even physically protecting oneself/family is not revenge.

Now, if you have a verse you want to quote in its proper context - that is scripture whether or not we fully undertand it or agree on it.

Your verbiage is not.
