Rove says it won’t even be close
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
Karl Rove has posted his last pre-election electoral prediction:
“The final Rove & Co. electoral map of the 2008 election cycle points to a 338-200 Barack Obama electoral vote victory over John McCain tomorrow, the largest electoral margin since 1996.”
And as we all know, Karl has THE math.
Also, A PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT: I’m not sure about this, so if you know better please correct me, but aren’t the liquor stores closed tomorrow? You know, for the mourners and celebrants both?

Palin cleared in Troopergate. Obama vows to bankrupt the coal industry. Obama states that under his plan, electricity rates will skyrocket.
Headlines on the eve of the election. Too late to do any good.

Karl only averages the other polls for this report. Holding the coal story was a hail Mary designed to take PA where they don’t have early votes already banked. If it works it may be a very late night.
Amazingly when Palin was said to have been caught up in an ethical violation Jay rushed out a post about it. Now that she’s been cleared we get a report about more polls.

Jay,
It’s 347 to 192 at 538dotcom, and 338 to 200 at politicodotcom and realclearpoliticsdotcom.
But, what sold me that it’s over, other than the formalities, is that earlier in the day, the folks at cnbc were using phrases such as “If Obama wins…” over and over and over. That’s their code words for acknowledging the projected winner.

Rove knows that the only hope for McCain is to suppress the vote, by predicting a landslide he encourages some Democrats to think their vote isn’t that important.
I don’t believe a single word out of his mouth. If he predicts a landslide it really means he thinks it may be close, and those who stay home could be all that is needed.

So…correct me if I’m wrong here…a legislature-based panel found that Palin WAS culpable, and now a three-person panel says that she WASN’T.
Which is correct? Just looking at the make-up of the Alaska Legislature, it’s almost entirely Republican, so…

2 Chronicles 7:14
If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.
Evangelical Christians all over this country (including many churches with 24 hour prayer vigils) are asking God for a miracle especially because this election will so impact our precious unborn children and their right to life …….. but our prayer is always that His will be done.
And before anyone gets all hot and bothered about is God a Democrat or a Republican, He is neither because unlike us He is Holy ………. but know that a Holy God does not like the destruction of innocent life He has given.
And before anyone gets all hot and bothered about who is a Christian just know that Jesus said, “not everyone who calls me Lord, Lord will enter the Kingdom of Heaven but he who does the will of my Father which is in heaven. “

Karl Rove — you remember, the guy who claimed to have “THE math” back in 2006? — has gotten a lot of attention for his piece yesterday in the Wall Street Journal.
That was kookman mocking Rove for 2006, an election he got totally wrong.
Now, today, all of a sudden, Rove is a genius, hmmmmm.
P.S. Rove let whackjob Kerry within three points of his boss in 04, allowed himself and Scooter Libby to be sucked into a scandal of Richard Armitage’s making and got shellacked in 2006, are we still listening to him?

I’m sorry to go off subject Jay, but with your love of golf i thought you needed to know this immediately! It was forwarded to me by an avid golfer:
ATTENTION GOLFERS, ATTENTION GOLFERS
THE USGA WOULD LIKE TO INFORM ALL GOLFERS:
There is a probability of MAJOR rule changes to the game of golf, occurring sometime after November 4.
This is only a preview as the complete rule book is being written now.
Here are a couple of basic changes.
Golfers with handicaps:
below 10 will have their green fees increase by 35%
between 11 and 18 will see no increase in green fees
above 18 will play for free and even get a check from the club/course played
The $ amount put in for bets will be as follows:
-for handicaps below 10 an additional $10
-between 11 and 18 no additional amount
-above 18 you will receive the total amount in the pot and you do not even have to play.
The term ‘gimme putt’ will be changed to ‘entitlement putt’, and will be used as follows:
-handicaps below 10, no entitlements
-handicaps above 11 to 17, entitlements for putter length putts
-handicaps above 18, if on green, no need to ever putt, just pick it up
These entitlements are intended to bring about fairness in scoring so that the final scores of all players will be about the same.
In addition, a Player will be limited to a max of one birdie and/or six pars, any excess must be given to those fellow players who have not yet scored a birdie or par. Only after all players have received a birdie or par from the player making the birdie or par, can that Player begin to count his score again.
The current USGA handicap system will be used for the above purposes but the term “net score” will be available only for scoring those players with handicaps 18 and above.
This is intended to “redistribute” the success of winning by making sure that in every competition the above 18 handicap players will post only “net score” against every other player’s gross score.
These new Rules are intended to CHANGE the game of golf. Golf must be about Fairness Only, it should have nothing to do with Ability.
Anybody want to see the rules proposed for bowling?
Peace.

Welcome to Obama’s America.
So, as any good patriot is wont to do, Conlee exercised her First Amendment rights in protest. She adorned the front windows of her shop with signs exclaiming, “I am Sheila the Shop Owner and I lost my wages today thanks to you Obama”, “Socialism is not Democratic,” and “I am Proud of my Country.”
The Obama campaign didn’t take the criticism lightly. Event setup crews parked two porta-potties in front of Conlee’s store, using them to anchor a white tarp hung to obscure the storefront from view.

1) Jesus never spoke about bestiality or pornography either. It’s still sin.
2) He did say, “I came not to destroy the law but fulfill it”. (The O.T. specifically condemns homosexuality as sin along with bestiality, etc.)
3) This is what the Apostle Peter had to say about those who question Paul’s authority:
II Peter 3: 16
“He writes the same way in all his letters, speaking in them of these matters. His letters contain some things that are hard to understand, which ignorant and unstable people distort, as they do the other Scriptures, to their own destruction”.
4) Jesus did say this about marriage:
Matt. 19: 4-6
“Haven’t you read,” he replied, “that at the beginning the Creator ‘made them male and female,’and said, ‘For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh’? So they are no longer two, but one. Therefore what God has joined together, let man not separate.”
5) And finally:
II Timothy 4:3
“For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear.”

How’s this for socialism. GWB cheefully ushers through the presciption drug bill by understating it’s real cost by 1/3. After it passes, his advisors are forced to fall on their swords and “admit” that the real cost will be $533B instead of the $400B figure that was used to sell it. He later ushers in a “stimulus” package to help people pay for the high cost of gasoline. He thus became the author of the two largest income re-distribution plans in history and took the “dangerous socialist” tag away from the Democrats.

Corporal,
Welcome to the Godless liberals point of view. I’ve been saying on this blog for some time the Democratic party has not only left the Christian church, they’re downright nasty about people who would believe in God and many times suggest they would like to see any mention of Christ kept within the walls of the church (which they want tax free status removed from). I no longer see how it’s possible to be a Christian and a Democrat. They’re just not compatible.
Good luck trying to have discussions of morality with people who have no moral foundation. They all know the same 6 Bible verses which they will use to tell you not to judge them and justify their immoral behaviour. At least when you post the word of God here, they may actually read some of it which is more Bible than they will read the rest of the year.
Question… What do the 9/11 bombers and Darwin have in common? They all know there is a God!
Keep up the good work!!

With Obama the pain with start immediately. Clinton has not problems in 1993, passing retroactive taxes. Obama will not either. So, small businesses will restructuring before new years. This will mean lay offs.
Power companies will begin restructuring in order to meet the anticipated new enviromental laws. That means, cutting purchases of coal and refitting refineries. The result will be much less fuel for the winter and higher prices.

By GodHatesTrash November 2, 2008 8:11 AM Link to this Unbelievably, Bookman pulled down around a dozen of my posts from Friday night, yesterday, and banned me for the day.
I consistently provide some of the best writing on this blog (not that that’s saying much), instead he prefers the never-ending monotonous garbage, chum, empty threats and swill from the misanthropes and paranoids. He never challenges them, he never ridicules them, he just lets their vile lies and slanders stand unchallenged.
Well, Bookman, face it, you’re no Ralph McGill. But you’re on track to be another Jim Wooten. Good for you!
So I’ll leave you for your regular clientele for awhile.
I urge other progressive decent people to do the same.
Without us, this blog is just another hate site.

So Rove wants the votes suppressed and the Obama maniacs wants ACORN to steal the election by having Scooby Doo register to vote and dead citizens who have been dead since 2001 vote Democratic also?

How convenient, Palin cleared at the last moment by a panel she appointed. She was already found to have acted morally wrong by an independant panel. Another dirty Republican trick.

Everybody else, go (vote.) Prove the pundits wrong.-Wooten
If you do not vote, if you let the drive by left wing media depress you into believing we have no chance, then we have no chance.
It is up to you.
Get out and vote.

From the AP:
It [the Palin Report] was prepared by Timothy Petumenos, an independent investigator for the Alaska Personnel Board.<<
Now who thinks the AP would slant the story to help a conservative?
The whole so-called Troopergate story was simply concocted by her enemies anyway. The looked high and low, and that’s the only thing they could find.
You won’t find a story about BO firing anyone - because ——— he’s never actually done anything.

All that being said, no one knows how long the election coverage will go on before a decision is reached. Few think that it will be the blowout that some expect; nor will the magic number be reached without electoral-vote rich California except under the most extraordinary circumstances.
“I don’t see anyone going over the top even before 11 p.m. (ET),” said one executive. Added another, “It’s mathematically possible but extremely unlikely.”-Reuters
Even Reuters, grand haters of America, know this isn’t over yet.
Prove them right.
Vote.

Karl Rove belongs in jail for what he did to Don Seigleman in Alabama; for feeding Scooter Libby to the lions; and for all his other actions. Anyone that thinks he wasn’t the big gun behind McCain’s campaign, albeit behind the scenes, just doesn’t care. He must have alot of stuff on alot of people because they are alll afraid of him including Saxby.

“Tomorrow the U.S. will have an election. The world awaits the arrival of a black president to the United States, we can say this is no small feat …] We don’t ask him to be a revolutionary, nor a socialist, but … that he rise to the moment in the world.” - Hugo Chavez
Makes you Dims swell with pride doesn’t it, to have a ruthless dictator like Chavez to endorse The Token One?
Police fear riots if Barack Obama loses US election. In Oakland, near San Francisco, police will have tactical squads, SWAT teams and officers trained in riot control on standby.
I think we can pretty much guarantee there will major riots among the black community if Obama loses. But, I think there will be riots either way. - Chicago Tribune
Win or lose, who needs a reason to riot? Isn’t that a right for certain ‘segments’ of our population? Aren’t you proud to be part of that group?
White Christian Supremacist group the Ku Klux Klan has endorsed Barack Obama to be the next President of the United States of America.
Speaking from his Kentucky office in Dawson Springs, the Imperial Wizard exclaimed that anything or anyone is better than having that “crazy a* b—ch” as President.
This is the first time in Klan history that any member of the KKK has ever publicly supported an African American candidate for the presidency. - The Daily Squib
I have to say, I find that a little on the weird side. But, the Dimocrats claim to be the party of diversity, so if you can get the KKK and NAACP in the same tent without the threats of a hanging or violent protests taking place, I guess you’ve done something special. But, human nature being what it is, and those groups being who they are, anyone want to place a bet on how long this coexistence will last???

To all of you who have quoted the Bible and quoted God in relation to abortion: Do you not trust Him to pass his own judgement on those who have abortions? Does the Bible not also say that we should NOT judge anyone? Is it not as big of a sin for you to take God’s roll in passing judgement on those people?

NRB you are passed Stupid. The only person that would fake a grandmother’s death is A Republican.
Jon you need to join NRB. The Personnel Board was appointed by Gov. Palin. Therefore, they would find that she did not violate the ethics rules, otherwise, they would be looking for a job.
You will not find your BOSS guilty, when you know that he/she can hire or fire you.

The Bible say (all men are as unclean rags). The Gop is no way Holly let make that clear. They may not do one thing but they do so much other wrong. Our God know how to get people to move the way he want them too. the market seal the deal for OBama. W and the GOP mess up so bad that a black man get’s to be leader of the free world. The Bible said the Low will be made high and now it has come to past a new day in america! The GOP Right are as the Pharisees. Jesus said they were like snakes all these law and not lifting a finger to hep the people!! ALL YOU HEAR IS THE law.

For those who are spreading all of the prophecies on here and in emails, I have a little something for you.
Per Jeremiah 23:16, This is what the LORD Almighty says: “Do not listen to what the prophets are prophesying to you; they fill you with false hopes. They speak visions from their own minds, not from the mouth of the LORD.

Jay,
As I recall, in most states liquor stores and bars are closed until the polls close. I’m guessing the powers that be don’t want our judgement clouded when we pull the lever (or, these days, touch the screen).

To T
1) Four states I believe will decide this issue today via Constitutional amendments in a supposed non-religious sense. But we both know they are voting their relgious views so the two can never really be separated.
2) Every law ever passed is an attempt by one group (usually the majority) to impose their moral will on another.
3) If gays can legally marry then I have the right to marry three women and take them all as a tax deduction. All I have to do is over time come up with the votes to do it.
4) If you can’t draw a line in the sand somewhere, you can’t draw it anywhere.

hg3 @ 9:12, from your question about editorial letters being published.
I have had a letter published. You have to be unique, thoughtful, and be directly on point when you have comments about an article in the paper.
If you are just sending in a letter to vent, then it probably won’t get published.

The GOP has become a regional party. If Chris Shays of Ct. loses tonight, there will be no Republican members from the NE. Obama ran a national campaign; McCain was left with a small map. That is one of the reasons he will lose. Another he had no message; his messagers/surrogates looked very weak, Palin, Joe “the Plumber.” When Limbaugh becomes the voice of the conservative movement, you’re in trouble.
