Staring into my crystal golf ball….

The swami says that if I can break 80 today, then miracles really do happen and John McCain really does still have a chance.
But otherwise….

Good Morning Jay, You sure are one prolific journalist and blogger, even though I vehemently disagree with your politricks. Anyway, I also looked into my crystal ball and Swami says that come November, liberal Benedict Arnold anti-American jerks are going to be running back home crying to their mommies: “Wah, wah, wah! Those big bad Republicans, with their pro-American agenda took us out back behind the woodshed and thoroughly kicked our lying sack of sh•• pitiful leftist a••es once again on Election Day. Make the big, bad Patriotic wolf stop hurting us mommy. Wah!”
Not to worry because come November, Americans will soundly reject the anti-American, anti-military, pro-deviant gay “marriage”, Afro/Eurotrash Radical Socialist agenda set forth by Barack Hussein Obama and the Demoncrats. You leftist loons haven’t a snowball’s chance in hell of winning Georgia and, by extension, the General Election. Dream on losers. Dream on.

Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama has boasted of his time working as a civil rights lawyer in Chicago. But the boutique law firm that employed him for parts of 11 years — now known as Miner, Barnhill & Galland — also handled matters that don’t fit under the civil rights umbrella, including contracts, real estate deals, incorporations and civil defense.
Obama, by some accounts, spent as much as 30 percent of his 3,700 billable hours on the last category.
Neither his campaign nor the firm will release a list of the cases on which he worked.
That from Politico.com. What does the Token One have to hide if he is unwilling to release said list? Probably the fact that he is a liar (again), and he is on cruise control till Nov 4, so why give McCain a hammer to bash him on the head with?
Obama’s campaign declined to answer when Politico asked if he did any work for (William) Moorehead.
Moorehead was convicted of stealing more than $1 million from public housing projects he managed and developments he co-owned with Obama’s former boss, Allison S. Davis. Some of the thefts occurred while Moorehead was a client of the firm.
The list grows longer and longer of The Token One’s shady associations. Throw in Jeremiah Wright and Tony Rezko and Franklin Raines, and if you’re a Democrat Obama supporter, doesn’t having your boy hangin’ with this crowd make you proud? The idiot ostriches of the left, along with the mainstream media, keep their heads in the sand on these issues.
I expect as much from the average Obama voter. After all, they only look at his color, and most don’t even know or care who is his Veep choice.
There are an awful lot of misguided. and just plain stupid, people that are going to vote Obama for all of the wrong reasons:
1) they hate George Bush (uh, duh, NEWS FLASH, they are too stupid to figure out that Bush really isn’t running like the Token One has told them he was)
2) they have voted Democrat their whole lives, because it is really easy to be blissfully stupid and unaware what Obama really is, plus they can let someone else do the (candidate) thinking for them
3) white guilt … my message to you is WAKE UP; slavery ended almost 150 years ago; you don’t own any slaves, not did your fathers or grandfathers. Voting for a black socialist because you think it makes you feel better is ignorant; go have a few beers instead. Remember what the Romans said, “En vino veritas”; in other words, you’ll probably make a clearer voting decision stinking drunk than you are doing sober trying to assuage some sever personal problem you cannot recognize, or know what it is.
4) the most agonizingly stupid reason of all…..they are too lazy (and ignorant) to do any looking into the candidate as a person, what he has been, what he stands for now, and what kind of President you hope he’ll be. They just take the word of what someone else says because it is the easy way; but, we all know that the quick and easy way leads one to the Dark Side of the Force; once you take that path, forever will it dominate your destiny.
5) and finally, racism. The overwhelming percentages of blacks voting for Obama clarify this statement quite purely. I refer you to the Howard Stern audio I provided above as proof. Although these people are few, their views are widespread. Blacks that deny racism as a reason are lying to us and to themselves, because as the victim race they have portrayed forever, it would be unwise to suddenly revert to what their alleged suppressors have done for so long. In this way, they stereotype themselves further yet again.
People need to use their heads for something other than a resting spot for their hat, or do-rag, or whatever. The results of this election are going to be with us for far longer than 4 years if Obama wins, because his already announced tax revisions will crush the life out of our economy for a decade or longer. You think the economy is bad now? Vote Obama,, sit back and wait.

Bud Wiser, Corporal: You hit the nail right on the head. Blacks are always the first to cry “RACISM!” the loudest against whites, but it is often blacks who are the biggest racists around! Most, if not all, Blacks, except a scant few who agree with Conservatives and favor PERSONAL RESPONSIBLITY over government handouts extorted from the wealthy thru sky-high taxes, will vote for Barack Hussein Obama merely because of he looks black. The weirdest thing is that BaRAT isn’t even black, he’s not even half black, he’s actually half-white, half African muslim. The blacks that are voting for him couldn’t even care whether the guy was a radical marxist or a Jew-hating nazi facist, they only see a man with so-called “black” skin running for President and he’s not even black!

(CNSNews.com) - Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama was justified in opposing legislation in the Illinois State Senate that would have ensured that a child who survives a failed abortion was treated as a “person” and received medical attention, two Democratic leaders said.
While in the Illinois Senate, Obama opposed three bills that proposed protecting babies that survived abortions, including one that defined a baby who had survived an abortion as a “person.” Republican presidential candidate John McCain said Obama’s vote on this bill was wrong in the last presidential debate.
After the debate, CNSNews.com asked Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) and Democratic National Committee Chairman Howard Dean if they thought Obama was morally justified in this vote. They defended Obama’s position.
Does anyone besides me see the conflict of interest here? If Obama is in favor of post-failed abortion murder of infants, since his constituency comprises a huge number of poor, underprivileged women that are affected by this circumstance, then isn’t he leading the charge against killing future Obama supporters? I fail to follow the reasoning here, but then again that is because there is no reasoning here, only the lockstep lemming-like following of basic Democrat tenets, and that is to kill the unborn.
Over the cliff they go, again and again.

So, what’s the Republican answers, reduce taxes for all income over $250,000, eliminate taxes on dividends and capital gains, eliminate AMT, eliminate estate tax, and replace it all with a 23% inclusive tax on every single thing the average Joe needs just to survive but just to help spread the wealth they want to give folks a prebate to help get the poor back up to poverty level subsistence. Who is going to defend you when Pakistan falls to terrorists? Who is going to defend you when Russia decides to flex her muscle? Not me, that’s for sure - Your new leadership wants to slash defense spending by up to 50% and your man is against a defense shield, so who is going to save your asses? Barney Frank? Ms G,
Forgot a few things. Old men, you know.
The “leadership” in Chicago has long been in the Donkey column from Daley in the mid 50s to present day. Home of Al Capone and his cronies, it has evolved into the third largest city in the US and the most dangerous community in all of the nation. The mayor, city planner, head of the school board, both Senators, all of the Congressmen/women, the Chief Financial Officer, Lt Governer, Governer……. all Democrats. The city is broke, violence is everywhere, gangs and druggies run amok, even in “respectable” parts of the city. All under the leadership of concerned Democrats. There are no Republicans to blame because there aren’t any in positions of leadership. Just makes you quiver with envy, doesn’t it? This is certainly not the example that we need to make America a great nation and Mr. Wonderful is as complicit as Franklin Raines, who, by the way, just bought a 4.9M condo with part of his 190M in runaway money. Making Chicago and America great…… living the American dream.

Crime is a local issue not a national one. Now if you want to blame the mayor, the governor or the chief of police that is legitimate. Also, aren’t you guys always going on about personal responsibility. If my neighbor kills his wife he should be held responsible not the next President of the United States. Beside we as a nation on a whole have nothing to brag about in our murder rate. Look at that poor reporter from Arkansas who just died from her injuries. Then there’s the time wasted on people who make false reports (Ashley Todd?) who take up law enforcements time and money. There are many reason crime is committed and more times than not they are domestically related. What do you want to do about, legslate households? Think of something else. Whose next?

The possible future POTUS represents a community with a less than dismal track record and if he wanted “change”, he should have started on his own home turf. Just like John Lewis who is still walking back and forth over Edmund Pettis bridge. Doesn’t have a single clue about the people he represents, other than they are black and would not vote for anyone but a black man for elected office. The choice is clear:
As for Mr. McCain, the central plank of his personal income-tax proposals is to make permanent almost all of the 2001 and 2003 tax cuts. Mr. McCain wants a 15% death tax on estates larger than $5 million. Mr. Obama wants a 45% rate on estates larger than $3.5 million.
Mr. McCain would also increase the dependent exemption by two-thirds — to $6,000 per dependent from $3,500.
Mr. McCain would lower the corporate income-tax rate to 25% from 35% today, and allow full expensing, temporarily, of some investments in plant and equipment.
So who would you give a tax break to, the deadbeats or people who create jobs?
Socialist tax policy, socialist judges, socialists doubling down on public education, socialists censoring talk radio and anything else they don’t agree with.
Ask yourselves, Conservatives, are you on the same side as the socialist anti American media? Think for a moment, why do the democrats need to perpetrate the most massive election fraud in history? Ever wonder why they need to put so many fake polls out there, fake polls that are meant to demoralize you?
Because they know they cannot win you over with their policies of sickness and depravity.
They know that the people of the United States, the real Americans, love their country, love their God, love their culture, their history, everything about this great land.
We did not become the greatest nation in history by listening to what France wants us to do.
Why do the liberals hate us and their country?
We have an opportunity to deal these 1960 radical socialists a death blow, an absolutely devastating loss that they will never recover from, we can put this freak show once and for all on the ash heap of history.
Do we want it to be “morning in America” again or do we want to sign the Declaration of Dependence?

What short sighted people fail to look at is the bigger picture. Russian via Putin are steadily making in roads into Africa and other 3rd world nations due to the United States having a “My Way Or The Highway” policy. The only credit I can give Bush is on his African initiatives (which he’s about the only one in his party prepared to do). France is nothing but a microcosm of what the democrat party wants us to be, a nation of lazy wimps that hides behind the military power of the United States and needs to be rescued from their neighbors every 40 years or so.

Not that you really care, but shortly after I married, my husband’s nephew was orphaned. We raised him. He was only ten years younger than me. Great kid! He’s now a wonderful husband and father.
We’re a violent society Goldie, and sending the message to our youth, that killing for convenience won’t make things better.
It will get your candidate elected — with your support of course.

Crime is a local issue. The State Courts handle the bulk of this this nations criminals. That’s just what we need, a President running around the nation sitting on juries of various criminals while the rest of the country goes to pot. That’s exactly what happened in the Terri Shavio incident. Not that I agree with what went down but National leaders need to stay out of local issues or take the chance of getting burned. Keep it up with the wedge issues and Obama will stick with the economy stupid. I love it when you and John McCain get off the track. Keep up the good work. All my SSRR’s are back in form and the laughs just keep on coming.

Why wonder what Oblahma’s tax burden would be like when all we have to do is see it in action in Chicago, the district Oblahma represents and has been “organizing” for decades:
Chicago Gets Highest Sales Tax in U.S.: 10.25%
Daley raised the city’s property tax by $86 million last year, the largest such hike of his tenure.
In Chicago, 550,580 people live below the poverty line, a poverty rate of 20.5%. The poverty rate has declined from 21.2% in 2006 and has risen from 19.6% in 2000.*
The national poverty rate is about 12.5%
So where’d the money go, hmmmm?

Aahhh, yes, all the maroon liberals sing right along with the promises their candidate makes:
DEMOCRATIC PROMISE: Eliminate Reliance on Foreign Oil
Yeah, they made it so expensive no one could afford it.
Promise: “We will work together to lead the House of Representatives with a commitment Io integrity, to civility and to Fiscal responsibility.” -Nancy Pelosi, Press Release. Nov. 16, 2006.
Need we discuss the farm bill, the energy bill, the mortgage bailout, the stimulus bill, etc, etc, etc?
Promise: “[T]he Wyden-Emanuel taxreform plan … eliminates the Alternative Minimum Tax…” -The Plan. Democratic Caucus Chairman Rahm Emanuel & Bruce Reed, Page 138.
And now Oblahma is promising to do it yet again!
DEMOCRATIC PROMISE: Ensure Members Have No Financial Interest in Earmarks They Sponsor
Broken Promise: “[Pelosi] requested $25 million for a project to improve the waterfront in her home district of San Francisco. Her request did not note that her family owns interests in four buildings near the proposed Pier 35 project.” -“In the Democratic Congress, Pork Still Gets Served,” Washington Post, May 24, 2007.
Democrat promise: Bring the troops home from Iraq.
Yeah, O.K.

Promises made and promises broken. Kinder and Gentler Nation, Compassionate Conservatism and Contract for America. I didn’t know that meant kinder to the rich, compassionate to Wall Street and a contract on American engineuity. Promises are made everyday by everybody so lets just not vote for anyone. There are and always will be constraints on those who seek change and then there are those who just say oh well. Vote for who you think and believe will do the better job and support them in their endeavors. When they don’t do what you expect throw the bums out like we are about to do now. Either way this country will go on with or without your input and cries of gloom and doom.

The lie:
Expand to Meet Military Needs on the Ground: Barack Obama and Joe Biden support plans to increase the size of the Army by 65,000 soldiers and the Marines by 27,000 troops. Increasing our end strength will help units retrain and re-equip properly between deployments and decrease the strain on military families.-Barak Oblahma
The proof of the lie:
In a meeting with the editorial board of The Standard-Times, Rep. Frank, D-Mass., also called for a 25 percent cut in military spending, saying the Pentagon has to start choosing from its many weapons programs, and that upper-income taxpayers are going to see an increase in what they are asked to pay.
So after the election, when Oblahma no longer has to act like a war monger, do you think he will stand up for the military or kneel before Barney Freak and his merry band of the majority?
The only reason Oblahma says that he will increase the military is because Bushie came up with the idea and every single solitary foreign policy expert agrees that we should, to keep pace with China and Russia.

Crime is a local issue until the appeal makes it to the SCOTUS where Obama plans to appoint compassionate justices.
“She owned every room she was in, not because she demanded our attention, but because we willingly gave it to her,” Smith said. “We all felt a little better, a little more alive just being near her.
“Life was easy for Anne Pressly. But it is her death that is so very hard for all of us.”
Life may have been easy for Anne. If it wasn’t easy for her murderers, the justices will be asked to rule with compassion on their behalf. There’s no need for concern towards the victims or their families. The living victims are more valuable to the dimwit party.
They will be signed up as voters in future elections. The disadvantaged are the dimwit party’s ace in the hole.

This is what we had after 8 years of Clinton/ Gore:
The main objective of Anderson and Rosenleaf’s Bake Sales for Body Armor campaign is to bring as many soldiers home as whole as possible. According to a study by the Brookings Institution, improvised explosive devices cause more than 38 percent of all U.S. casualties in Iraq and even more crippling injuries. Comprehensive body armor is integral to a soldier’s survival and protection from such an attack, which can rip through the undercarriage and sides of a military vehicle with ease.
And now the moron liberals want to cut it again.
Will we ever learn America, the liberals hate our soldiers and do not care if they are protected with the best equipment.

My point exactly, protect the ground troops. Every dollars spent in that direction is a dollar well spent. If I’m not mistake a big issue in this war was that the troops (Under the Bush Administration) were not receiving the body protection armour they so desperately needed. And my son informed me that half the time they didn’t even have clean water to drink in Iraq. Maybe some of that Lockhead/Haliburton money could have been used to keep my son and others from dehydration. So don’t go telling me any nonsense about Clinton/Gore. Bush and his cronies started this war so any blame goes to them.

The might of the US was not in the might of its military — it was in its economy and in the will of its people. The Republicans have managed to destroy that and now the US is no longer a mighty nation. It is a land occupied by the nation-destroying rich and everyone else. It will take many years to even begin to undo the damage wrought on us by the Republicans. The sooner we start, the sooner we will get there.

These were my mother’s mother’s folks and my father’s father’s folks - planning a trip this spring to Manhattan and the Brooklyn-Queens border to check out where my mother’s father’s and father’s mother’s families lived - my dad’s grandfather owned one of the last dairy farms in Brooklyn.

Two things I just don’t understand and wonder if others are in the same boat: 1) isn’t Congress responsible for setting policy and assuring the financial stability of the country, not the president? It sure sounds to me through blogs like this, and the liberal news media that every move made in economic policy in the U.S. is the responsibility and “fault” of the president alone. I mean what happened to the “new direction” the country was going to take when the Democratic Congress was elected in ‘06? Come to think of it, a new direction was found - and all of it went south. 2) How will the economic direction of the country be improved if all motivation for investment is removed by higher taxation on corporations and high income individuals? In addition, what motivation will there be to work hard and take risks (ala the small business owners) if this “redistribution of the weatlh” situation as touted by the Democratic presidential candidate and those running for Congress on his coattails, proves to be more than just the normal rhetoric of a presidential campaign?

Denise, it’s a winning message. No one in their right mind is worried about corp. America but those who fall for the conservative propaganda. When people see Wall Street Executives walking away with multi=million dollar packages after they jack up companies and average citizens are wondering how they are going to keep their homes is it any wonder. This current situation has lead to this so called class warfare. George W. Bush did not veto one spending bill in the first six years of his administration when both houses of Congress was controlled by Republicans. In the last two years the Democrats did not have enough of a majority to much except to keep the President from doing more damage to our nation than he had already done. If the Democratic Party is smart this time around there will be little in fighting and more done to pull our nation out of the despair we find our selves in now. And by the by it seems to me the biggest and most disgraceful golden parachute will be going to our out going President. He took the most successful, prosperous company in the world (The United States Of America) and ran not only the economy but all it’s goodwill around the into the ground. His lifetime benefit package should be forfeited.
