Quote of the day: Palin going rogue
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
According to John King of CNN, under the headline “’Palin’s going rogue,’ McCain aide says”:
A second McCain source says she appears to be looking out for herself more than the McCain campaign.
“She is a diva. She takes no advice from anyone,” said this McCain adviser. “She does not have any relationships of trust with any of us, her family or anyone else.
“Also, she is playing for her own future and sees herself as the next leader of the party. Remember: Divas trust only unto themselves, as they see themselves as the beginning and end of all wisdom.”
I think it’s over. And it’s not ending pretty. Oh no. Not pretty at all.

L like talking to the top dimwit, not some aide:
Chalking it up to his running mate’s propensity to talk too much, Barack Obama today sought to clarify Joe Biden’s comments that an Obama presidency would quickly face an international crisis, saying the Democratic vice presidential candidate meant that the coming presidential transition was fraught with dangers.
We all got issues.

The gentleman who started the ball rolling made four donations under the names “John Galt”, “Saddam Hussein”, “Osama bin Laden”, and “William Ayers”, all using the same credit card number. He wrote this morning to say that all four donations have been charged to his card and the money has now left his account. Again, it’s worth pointing out: in order to enable the most basic card fraud of all - multiple names using a single credit card number - the Obama campaign had to manually disable all the default security checks provided by their merchant processor.-National Review
Hey, someone should try to donate using the name Sarah Palin, hahaha.
Seeing how she “wants” McCain to lose, well, according to CNN and kookman, anyway.

No surprise she’s decided to throw Ol Johnny under the bus. Her selfishness has been on display since day one.
No regard for her daughter’s ahem-“delicate” situation…sure, trot her out there—KNOWING she will be mocked and ridiculed….
Dragging her children-esp. Trig and Piper-pimping them out to make herself look like a great mom….sheeeeeeeeeeeesh. Using her daughter, dressed in a Flyer’s jersey, in the hopes of stemming boos.
It is increasingly obvious that she has bigger plans-I am sure she’s already planning her run for the highest office in ‘12.
A new investigation was put out today by AP-apparently her pipeline-that was never a done deal anyway, had bidding issues, AND the company who finally won the bid, TransCanada, has ties to Palin.
“Meet the new boss; Same as the old boss…”
I hope that when she returns to AK, that she is buried under the crap she’s sown, and we never have to look or HEAR from her again.

The VP’s position during a campaign is to, at least PUBLICLY espouse her running mate’s-you know, the person at the TOP of the ticket?- views.
Palin has seen where this is headed; Palin realizes they are readying the knives to carve her up and blame her (as well they should, as polls consistently indicate people are moving away from the ticket bcz of her)-
IF her name gets to be on top, then she gets to call the shots. Until then, she is supposed to be the second banana, and pretty much keep her own thoughts in her head-esp. when they go against her running mate’s.
example: while she’s calling the nasty robocalls “irritating,” her running mate and campaign are defending their use.
She’s HURTING him.

This is rich. After weeks of you moonbats saying that Palin refused to speak her own mind, now you’re whining that she’s speaking her own mind.
You probably haven’t even noticed, but even these anonymous sources aren’t saying she has her own distinct message that she’s promoting over McCain’s, just that she has a different idea of how to present herself. After the way those same anonymous sources butchered her roll out who can blame her for knowing the better way to present herself.

BOOKMAN IS STILL TALKING ABOUT SARAH PALIN??????
Sounds like he has her dressing room “bugged”. He gets all this information from “unknown sources” who have all the low down but don’t give their names. I tell you. Homeland Security should know about this. Who knows whom is listening to whomever and Bookman is writing it all down.
Another problem that seems to pop up with this system is MOST OF IT SOUNDS PHONY AS A TWO DOLLAR BILL. And…with a strong liberal accent.
Rogue? Sarah Palin? Naww…Obama’s camp followers are up to something. He’s got plenty of them ‘cause he is rolling in dough…mostly acquired after he broke his promise to McCain on election finance.
But..hey…everybody can’t be straight arrow. Not Obama, when you have had friends like Ayers, Wright, and Rezko. Better to listen in on somebody else. Then give the story a nice naughty twist to make others forget AYERS, WRIGHT AND REZKO. Yeah, let’s call Sarah a rogue.
I think I heard somebody say that. I don’t know absolutely. I’m pretty sure this is correct. Hard to tell up here in the closet. I think it was Sarah Palin. Somebody!!. Well, it was a female. A nice diversion from the ugly crap posted here about Obama by the local wingnuts…
Malia Obama probably wasn’t sure if her Dad would make it home from work to watch her soccer game this past Friday night.
He’s been pretty busy lately. But her Mom and her little sister would be there.
The flow of the kids moving the ball down the field, under the lights of a chilly night in October. The families chatting on the sidelines. The starlight glow of downtown Chicago rising up from the north.
Malia Obama at mid field shouts “Mom!” And the smile, grace, and presence of the woman whose eyes never once leave her daughter—-no matter who else she speaks to, waves back and sends a radiant smile.
In that one wave and smile, you see hope come alive before your very eyes.
Then just a few minutes after eight; something like a shift in earth’s gravity occurs. To the casual observer, nothing in this scene has changed. That pull of the earth’s power must have been imagined.
…
Then some guy in a blue cap walks out of the gym next door. Hands in his pocket, face down, by himself. He walks over to Malia’s Mom, who has 3 conversations going on simultaneously with folks on the sidelines.
The quiet guy in the blue cap puts his arm around Malia’s Mom. Shakes hands with a couple of the people. Talks with Malia’s Mom for a minute or two.
Just then a small miracle occurs. The quiet guy in the blue cap who nobody in the crowd of really paid all that much attention to; scrunches down so he is face to face with Malia’s little sister Sasha. He lifts up the brim on the cap.
And then, standing 15 feet behind Sasha you see what she’s seeing up close. You see that smile. That smile that resounds with the very power and the glory of the city lights behind it.
That smile now almost ready to take its place in American history.

Well, whatdoyaknow??? An aide in the Obama camp says “Michelle is turning into one devilish dame”.
An aide whose name is not known had this to say about Michelle: Well, it has been going on for some time. Soon as Obama puts his foot out the door, in steps Michelle and it is h..l on wheels. She said we didn’t give her enough talks, debates or interviews. She said she had to run Obama out of town to get her real self known.
You oughta hear the rants. Things like “I took him to Ayer’s party and got him started in politics. That was after I pulled him through Harvard. I took him to Jeremiah when we had to get married. I introduced him to Rezko and got us a nice new home. Do I get ANY appreciation? NO!” She has turned into a one devilish dame.
We had tried not to notice. But when she said she had finally found something she liked in America, she was NOT looking at us. She was looking at a picture of the White House.
I know It’s crazy. But the end is near. Nothing pretty about it right now!! No sir!! Nothing pretty at all.

Somehow I was under the impression it was pretty divided before the Supreme Court finally stopped Al Gore’s attempt to steal the election. We are stepping further and further out onto that limb as each day goes by. If we should select this empty suit to be our president, we will be making a decision to take chances with the future of our country that we have never taken before. This is the most important election in the last 100 yrs….. America feels it and is nervous, upset and unsure about the outcome, especially if the Annointed One is chosen to lead this country. He is an unknown quantity, an inexperienced smooth talker who has won over the media, most of the electorate who cannot find Ohio on a map and the people in the black community that could not even (at least in Harlem) identify who is running. The “anyone but Bush” crowd has taken it upon themselves to let the media, especially the NYT, chose their next president. Witness Bookman, Tucker, Luko and all of the other libs on this rag of a newspaper. Most of thinking America is very worried, as they should be. I pray for our future and the future of our grandchildren.

Interesting thought we had at dinner: we became so strongly divided as a nation the minute the USSR went belly-up. We had a hatred for someone else. Now we don’t have that, so all we get to do is hate others in our own country.
We see the same thing with terrorist groups operating in Pakistan and Iraq. They can’t blow up Americans, so they blow up their fellow citizens.
Why do we have to hate on each other so much over something so ridiculous? Did your parents really teach you to talk like this to other people and about other people in your own country?
It’s sad.

He has opposed broader federal support for stem cell research. He broke with Bush only when he shouldn’t have, supporting farm subsidies, the wasteful welfare program for well-off agricultural interests, blah, blah, blah.

Oblahma voted wholeheartedly for the “wasteful welfare program for well-off agricultural interests” but for some reason that doesn’t bother the liberal hacks very much.

If there was immorality in the war in Vietnam, it was that a democratic nation called her citizens to war, had them killed by the tens of thousands, and then, like a faithless lover, turned and scorned the survivors. Oh, perfidious nation!

Obama supporters who trashed Palin from day one are ranting about her wardrobe and other petty matters, while an anti-American Socialist / Marxist racist is about to highjack our government, with the help of voter fraud, and a corrupt biased media.
