Baghdad —- Tens of thousands of followers of anti-American cleric Muqtada al-Sadr rallied in the streets of Baghdad Saturday against a proposed American-Iraqi deal that would allow U.S. troops to stay in the country for three more years.-Urinal/Jihad
Hmmm, Mookie doesn’t want American troops in Iraq anymore.
Is he afraid they might stifle his march to power?
Maybe he should register with ACORN, get his absentee ballot and vote for Oblahma.
Then him and the Urinal can get what they want, an Iraq run by extremists that our children will someday have to fight again, over……….here.
It looks like the usual Urinal Vent staff must have been in Missouri yesterday:
Given all the reports of voter fraud with this ACORN group, now I know why Democrats are dead-set against even a free picture ID for voters.-Urinal Vent
How will we know if Mickey Mouse shows up at the polls if he doesn’t have an ID on him, Cynthia?
Something is wrong here: Politicians are the only people in America who create problems and then campaign against them.
That, my friends, is the whole entire democrat game plan in a nutshell.
If Barack Obama wants to spread the wealth around, why does he have such an opulent lifestyle? He’s a fat-cat Democrat.
While he was downstairs at the Waldorf Astoria whining about how bad it is, his straitjacketed wife was upstairs ordering up a ton of lobsters from room service, PETA be damned, haha.
UTICA, New York - Republican John McCain continued a slow advance on Democrat Barack Obama in the race for President, moving back within three percentage points as the race begins to head down the stretch run, the latest Reuters/C-SPAN/Zogby daily tracking poll shows.
Even the fake polls can’t close the deal for Oblahma.
Yeah, it looks like al-Sadr likes the odds a little better now with the recent troop withdrawals. But a threat to our homeland? Ridiculous. The really smart ones have been waiting for a complete troop withdrawal since the invasion.
Good morning, Jay. Today is going to be another great day. We’re planning a nice hike later in the day and a picnic while we’re out. I hope you are also getting out and enjoying the fall weather. I’ll breath easier just knowing that we will have fewer of this vile brand of Republicans in government offices spewing their pollution real soon. It does a body good.
Horsey: I didn’t change the subject for your benefit. Oblahma’s withdrawal plan is the Mahdi army withdrawal plan, America gone, why do you think the America “lovers’ at the Urinal are whining on their behalf this morning?
And why do you think they are moaning about Bushie’s plan?
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Democrat Barack Obama’s lead over Republican John McCain in the presidential race has dropped to 3 points, according to a Reuters/C-SPAN/Zogby poll released on Sunday.
Obama leads McCain by 48 to 45 percent among likely U.S. voters, down 1 percentage point from Saturday. The four-day tracking poll, which has a margin of error of 2.9 points.
Pollster John Zogby said the numbers were good news for McCain, and probably reflected a bump following his appearance in the third and final presidential debate on Wednesday.
“For the first time in the polling McCain is up above 45 percent. There is no question something has happened,” Zogby said.
Yeah, America is paying attention.
Did y’all catch the one where Joe the plumber asked Oblahma a tough question and for his efforts got the goon squad media crawling up his as-s, in the finest Soviet KGB tradition?
Just because Oblahma gave the wrong answer?
Lucky for Joe we don’t have re education camps, uh, yet.
And how about “I’m not Bushie, moron?” That was pretty good.
Or maybe it was the Reedpelosioblahma monster shambling about so close to Halloween?
Americans aren’t stupid, they see the coming wave of socialism and are starting to figure out how much it would suck
Reason No. 1 why McCain still has a chance is the tax issue. Joe the Plumber put a human face on the perennial hot button, and McCain has seized on Obama’s glib“spread the wealth around”comment to give himself a second chance on the economic argument.
With both families and government feeling pinched, Obama sided with government. Coming when government is held in such low regard, the move can only rankle.
It matters not what Oblahma whines and moans about from here on out, he has already defined himself.
“spread the wealth around”
Why do you think the rest of the pinko nation is so angry?

This is a defining moment in our history. Our economy is in crisis. Our housing market is in shambles. It’s increasingly difficult to buy gas or groceries; to save or to retire. In so many cities and towns across America, it feels as if the dream that so many generations have fought for is slowly slipping away.
It’s a moment when the values that have made America what it is are threatened by the politics and policies of Washington.-Oblahma
And what does Oblahma have to offer but more politics and policies of Washington?
When he had a chance to lower your energy costs, did he come down in favor of American domestic production or did he side with the environmental junk science terrorists?
We’ll retool our factories to build the cars of the future.
Who the f is we?
The government maybe?
Is this what we want, the government telling our auto industry what cars to build?
The socialists told our auto makers to pay their workers more, told them to give their workers more health care and pension benefits, told them to build more fuel efficient cars.
Boy, that helped, didn’t it?
And now the most successful automakers are foreign companies.
Our economy is in crisis. Our housing market is in shambles.-Oblahma
They told the mortgage industry to make their loans more accessible to the deadbeats. They told Fannie Mac to guarantee the loans to the deadbeats. They told the Treasury to cough up 700 billion to bail out the lenders to the deadbeats and to let them decide who got the money.
They told the government to mortgage our children’s future.
Now they whine about Bushie.
Yes, our government needs fundamental changes from the top to the bottom and it ain’t more socialists telling us how to run our lives.
November 5th, your chance to tell them to stop “spreading their ruinous policies around.”
So, it is now official. Colin Powell is endorsing Sen. Obama.
(CNN) — Former Secretary of State Colin Powell announced Sunday that he will be voting for Sen. Barack Obama, citing the Democrat’s “ability to inspire” and the “inclusive nature of his campaign.”
“He has both style and substance. I think he is a transformational figure,” Powell said on NBC’s “Meet the Press.”
“Obama displayed a steadiness. Showed intellectual vigor. He has a definitive way of doing business that will do us well,” Powell said.
Powell, a retired U.S. general and a Republican, was once seen as a possible presidential candidate himself.
Powell said he questioned Sen. John McCain’s judgment in picking Gov. Sarah Palin as his running mate because he doesn’t think she is ready to be president.
He also said he was disappointed with some of McCain’s campaign tactics, such as bringing up Obama’s ties to former 1960s radical Bill Ayers.
If the federal government really needs to create “value-added” jobs, let’s get busy converting the vacant manufacturing plants across the country into more prisons! At least then I can support the argument that it’ll be taxpayers’ money well spent. How much pork can we wrestle away from Pelosi and Reid (let’s start with the funds earmarked for ACORN and Planned Parenthood) and get to work?
While doing some research on our senior senator, Suxbad, I found this. Though it dates from April, it may signal the beginning of the end of the moronic and misguided Ronnie and Eddie’s War on Drugs.
H.R. 5843, the Act to Remove Federal Penalties for the Personal Use of Marijuana by Responsible Adults.
This legislation, introduced by Congressman Barney Frank, seeks to remove federal criminal penalties for the possession of small amounts of marijuana.
America is experiencing unprecedented overcrowding in our criminal justice system. We are incarcerating more people today than we ever have in the past. A large number of these inmates are non-violent drug offenders. It’s time we made room for real criminals, rather than incarcerating people for minor marijuana offenses.
Additionally, prosecuting marijuana related offenses costs the American taxpayers billions of dollars every year. Despite this, marijuana is still easily available to adults and minors. Through a controlled system of taxing and regulating marijuana, we can take money out of the pockets of drug dealers and keep marijuana away from kids.
Shouldn’t we focus our country’s resources on important priorities instead of continuing a wasteful war on marijuana?
Anyone in favor of states rights, smaller, less intrusive federal government interference and assorted personal liberty fans should ask your leaders to cosponsor and support H.R. 5843.
I think Colin Powell would have been an excellent choice as McCain’s VP! Probably not what you were expecting, huh?
