Mahoney may not seek reelection
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
“Embattled Democratic Rep. Tim Mahoney may not seek reelection in Florida next month after ABC News broke a story earlier this week that the congressman had paid a former aide to keep quiet about their alleged affair, according to a Democratic leadership aide with ties to his campaign.”
If so, good. What a creep.

Amen. Good thing you’re not a Republican, Jay - otherwise you’d have to stick up for this ‘creep.’ Ronald Reagan would be proud of your allegiance, but then you’d be a creep too.
Real shame the right hasn’t figured that out.

Have the democrats changed the election rules so that you can cast your ten or fifteen absentee ballots from your jail cell?
Which wouldn’t surprise me of course.
Because that is the only “hope” Mahoney has got.

A “creep” indeed. And speaking of creeps, today the rightwing “heads” are caught up in repeating, again and again, “figther-pilot McCain” needs to show his fighter=pilot self tonight.” Riiiight. Fourth from the last in an Annapolis class of nearly 900. His primary indstructor at Annapolis called McCain “One of the worst candidates to ever arrive here. Absolutely no flying ability or skills. Nor did he enjoy flying. Would NEVER (sic) have been here with that class ranking were it not for his Old Man. These are much coveted positions. No one in the lower HALF of his class is EVER even considered. Except…HIM.” (Naval ArchivesAnd so the dumbed down masses get yet another chance to view their non-hero imposter again this eve. Tonight is a blessed good night here in Pakistan, we are all meeting at thee Iman’s cave and will be watching brother lion Obambi while he makes a fool of thee infidel McBushie.
Then, afterwards, we will be slaughtering some neighborhood women and children so that we can have the AJC blame it on the Americans for us.

If the Democrats get to name a new candidate he or she better darn well have to run as Tim Mahoney on the ballot the same way Joe Negron was forced to run as Mark Foley.

Would you happen to have a cite a bit more specific than “Naval Archives” for that rant from McCain’s “primary instructor”? I wasn’t aware the Navy kept such comments in their archives of official material.

By the way, Democrats, great election strategy in Pennsylvania.
Now that the flap over the candidate calling them bitter little cretins clinging to their guns and religion has died down Murtha comes out and labels the whole western half of the state as a bunch of racists.
Can we get Obama and Murtha together in Ohio, Virginia, and Florida too?

Democratic Rep. John “Filthy Mouth” Murtha said Wednesday his home base of western Pennsylvania is racist and that could reduce Barack Obama’s victory margin in the state by 4 percentage points.
I think we can safely call them stupid too, seeing who they elected to represent them and all.

Hillary Clinton Buys 2012 Website!! Marc Ambinder reports that, “A company associated with Hillary Clinton’s top presidential campaign advance staff has purchased a website domain that hints of a 2012 presidential bid for the vanquished senator from New York. HRC2012.com was bought by the Markham Group on June 8, according to whois.com.” A Clinton spokesman told him that, “Clinton officially associates herself with three websites: hillpac.com, for her political action committee, hillaryclinton.com, for her presidential campaign and now her ‘12 Senate re-election campaign, and a separate site dedicated to retiring her presidential debt.” Further, hillaryclinton.com has been used for Clinton’s previous campaigns, alternating between Senate and presidential runs, “so it’s not clear why a separate 2012 site would be required.”

The 17-term Democratic congressman told the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette in a story posted Wednesday on its Web site: “There is no question that western Pennsylvania is a racist area.”
Somebody has been out in the sun for far too long. What an embarrassment again, for Democrats, for the people that continually reelect this piece of human trash, and for the United States Marines, who have to suffer the fact that this racist creep was once supposedly one of them.
The old coot has gone senile. Oblahma should put a muzzle on this racist pig idiot, except for the fact that he most likely agrees with him. Obama is a racist as well, as are most all Democrats. I will not waste the effort to explain it yet again to you leftist morons, but we all know it to be true.
Yep, Jesse Jackson and John Murtha dissing the Jews and rural whites all in the same day. What a proud day to be a racist Democrat. Your true colors are shining through, loud and clear.

Adding more fuel to the speculative fires is the fact that Clinton has sent out direct communications to her big-money supporters—those who donated up to $2,300 to her anticipated, but ultimately nonexistent, 2008 general election campaign—asking them to sign off on a permission sheet to transfer all of that funding to her 2012…wait for it…Senate campaign. And if you recall, Clinton barely touched a small portion of her 2006 Senate reelection campaign funds, later transferring the bulk of that funding source to her 2008 presidential election coffer.

Who?
Sorry Jay. The media hasn’t reported this story at all.
Our lords and masters in the media wouldn’t want anything to derail Obama’s coronation by doing anything like reporting the news.
Perhaps you can explain to us why the Mark Foley story got so much coverage and the Mahoney story gets utterly ignored. It couldn’t be that our “journalists” aren’t really journalists at all. Instead they are partisan hacks who seek to inflict their political preferences on us.

Now that the dust has settled in Denver, and all the kool aid was drunk. With McCains pick for VP it is now even clearer what a mistake Obama made by NOT picking Hillary as his running Mate. Us Hillary fans who can NOT and will NOT bring our selves to vote for Obama we now have the Opportunity to help smash the glass ceiling that we helped Hillary, put those 18 million cracks in.
I have been a strict democrat since 1981, have donated much money to Democratic causes. This will be MY first year of NOT voting for the democrat on the ticket. This is the beauty of free speech and voting our hearts and conscious that we DO NOT have to vote because we are told to.

@@ from previous thread (finally got the kids to bed…):
So he did two leadership training sessions lasting an hour 10 or so years ago. Jeez. That’s it?? In your mind and the mind of all the ACORN conspiracy theorists, that makes him a director in charge of ACORN and how they’re stealing the election!! Woweee!!!
As I said to what started this discussion with Paul: it’s trivial stuff compared to a discussion of what the candidates will do to/with the economy when they get into office, so I’m not at all interested in this whole “Obama/Ayers/ACORN/terrorists stealing the election” conspiracy theory that’s being peddled. It’s just too far-fetched to be useful to the average person who is struggling to make their mortgage.
Negative attacks have not worked so far in this match-up. McCain has no clear message that anyone wants to hear. Pending something dramatic changing the landscape, it’s over. Clock is ticking and McCain can’t seem to move the ball toward the goal.
Republicans are going to get creamed this year and it’s their own fault. As the person above said, they want to blame it on ACORN instead of their own nuts coming home to roost.

The New York Post column said Jackson recently told a policy forum that “decades of putting Israel’s interests first” would end if Obama is elected. The conservative columnist also said Jackson told an interviewer that Zionists would lose a great deal if Obama wins.
