Live, from New York, Sarah Palin!

.

I’ll betcha that there Tina Fey, bless her heart, will rear her head again tonight, playing the role of me, Sarah Palin for the third time, understanding of course that the other two times were in the past and we don’t want to be finger-pointing at the past but looking ahead at the future that is ahead of us.

That Tina, I mean, her reward is in heaven, right?

Also, I want to preference my remarks by saying that those Saturday Night Live folks, they’re a team of maverick cutups, doncha know, and Gwen Ifill will be playing Queen Latifah, and they told me what country of which she was queen but I forget because they’re telling me so much stuff. Like, did you know that nuclear weaponry would be the be all, end all of just too many people in too many parts of our planet?

Also, I know that millions of Americans wonder what the things are that attribute to my being vice president, yeah, but I’m one to just think they’re being funny and anyway, I don’t want to argue about the causes. What I want to argue about is, how are we going to get there to positively affect the impacts?

Say it ain’t so, Joe.

Oh, is she making you angry, Jay?

Here we thought she couldn’t speak, but gosh, she sure is lighting off in Oblahma’s as-s ain’t she?

OBAMA: Uh, uh, are, uh, uh, uh, um. That’s — that’s a bunch — so — so let me tick these off. Deh… Uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, um, uh. Either I forgot to read the Queen Pinko column on Wednesday or I found utterly ridiculous that this race baiting hack, working for a two cent socialist rag, would call Palin “too green,” I forget which it was:

Additionally, Biden will be subject to a certain double standard that dictates that he must not be seen as condescending or rude, chauvinistic or bullying to his female opponent.-Urinal/PMS

Funny how it’s a “double standard” when it’s applied to a fellow goony, ain’t it?

She’s flat out unacceptable and dangerous as a Vice President.

She’s still welcome for dinner. I’d loan her an egg or the lawn mower. We probably would not exchange books but we might go for shoes.

I’d watch her kids and vote for her for PTA or HOA. She could borrow my black evening bag. I would be gracious but not thrilled to have her on my side in boys vs. girls Trivial Pursuit.

I, and I think all of us commie pinko libs, don’t hate the lovely Governor. She just isn’t an intelligent choice for the second most important job in the world.

I simply cannot comprehend how any American could put party loyalty over the safety of this nation by voting for the candidate who showed such poor judgement (again!) in his choice of this charming but dangerously ill-prepared running mate.

I’m proud to give my vote to Barack Obama and Joe Biden

Don’t forget to check your voter registration status.

Mrs. G, You would vote for Adolf Hitler(D) as long as there was a (D) after his name. She’s only dangerous to your chances to win the white house. What about being an 80% approval rating governor is not sinking in with you lib? You’ve been bashing Bush for having a low approval rating (while ignoring your congress), but somehow this 80% woman isn’t good enough for you?? You libs are just pathetic.

The base of the Republican Party — a dwindling but still significant group — clings to a handful of pseudo-facts that don’t hold up to serious scrutiny but that still occupy a central place in GOP ideology. Those include the assertion that Saddam Hussein represented a threat to the United States, that affirmative action in lending led to the mortgage crisis and that voter fraud is a serious problem in modern elections.-Queen Pinko, Urinal/DNC

Aahhh, yes, my most favorite lib journalistic methodology, when you have no facts, just dismiss those pesky little issues with a wave of thee hand, much the way Hitler directed his non existent armies from thee Chancellery bunker.

During the past decade, GOP-dominated state legislatures across the country have used assertions of mischief at the ballot box to push through harsh voter ID laws. Those GOP strategists know better: One study after another has shown that voter fraud is, at worst, extremely rare, blah, blah, blah.

Uh-huh.

EAST CHICAGO | Indiana Attorney General Steve Carter said Thursday voting fraud in this city hasn’t been a series of random acts. “It’s not an accident — the 53 people who have been charged thus far with 200 felonies. I don’t think that happens by accident,” Carter said in announcing a new round of nine felony charges. The charges arose from a continuing investigation into the discredited May 2003 Democratic mayoral primary in which former Mayor Robert Pastrick’s re-election campaign was accused of manufacturing a razor-thin victory margin with tainted absentee ballots.-NWI.Com

And that was just the first google search I tried.

Gosh, I wonder if the libs are trying to cover up something that is underway, hmmmmmmmm.

Actually that 80% figure is specious.

NEW YORK Since she was picked for the Veep spot, the press has often noted that Sarah Palin has “80%” approval ratings in Alaska. Just yesterday, John McCain told the Des Moines Register editorial board that she is “the most popular governor in the United States.” But that number is outdated.

McClatchy reports today that her approval rating in her home state has tumbled to 68% — still high but surely not the country’s best. The poll by a local firm that works for both parties was taken Sept. 20-22. McClatchy writes: “Palin’s popularity has swooned as new information about the local abuse-of-power investigation known as Troopergate has trickled out, and as national and local media pick over her track record as a governor and small-town mayor.

“Palin still has overwhelming support among Alaska Republicans. But many Democrats and independents, who gave her positive marks just a month ago, have changed their views….

“Brad Coker, managing director of Mason-Dixon Polling & Research Inc., said an approval rating in the 60s for a governor is good. His recent polling in six western states found two governors with approval ratings in the low-80s, two in the 60s and one in the 50s.”

Also, contrary to McCain’s statement that Palin is “overwhelmingly popular” with Americans, in a new survey Pew finds that 51% of Americans now believe that Palin is unqualified, up from 37% after her announcement.

And how she ultimately affects this election, that is BY FAR the most relevant number…

Love me some Saturday Night Live! Tina Fey absolutely nails Palin.

While watching the debate Thursday night, all I could think of was the old SNL skit with Jane Curtin and I think Dan Aykroyd doing the Weekend Update, when he turns to Curtin and says “Jane, you ignorant sl*t!” It could have been used on Palin during any one of her rants and non-answers. One more “you betchya” and I think I would have put my foot through the TV screen.

I didn’t find her cute, folksy or perky. To me she came off like some uneducated clown.

that affirmative action in lending led to the mortgage crisis

Says the lib:

Oprah Winfrey’s mother should not have to pay a high-end fashion store the more than $150,000 it says it is owed because the store extended credit despite knowing her troubles managing debt, according to a new court filing.

Valentina Inc. sued Winfrey’s mother, Vernita Lee of Milwaukee, in July, contending that she racked up a bill of $155,547.31 in purchases and interest as of July 1. She was required to make a minimum monthly payment of $2,000 to the store, the suit says.

The account is “unconscionable, and therefore, unenforceable because Valentina knowingly and unfairly took advantage of Lee’s lack of knowledge, ability, and/or capacity when Valentina created the account,” the civil lawsuit says.-Pajamas Media.

What is this? AJC Comic night? I first thought Bookman had put on a wig and glasses for improvement until I realized that he was pictured just above. Oh well, First impressions and such.

Kinda sneaky though. Bookman is so anxious to knock the Successful Sarah (after he’s done it over and over) that he had to run around the network to find a faded comic and give a cheerful chuckle. Liberals are getting pretty hard up. Anyway….

Is that dialogue from SNL or is that Bookman being funny? Well, he is usually a bit “funny” in his views but I thought he was supposed to be a journalist. You can’t tell who is a comedian and who is a journalist these days.

Now I am waiting for SNL satirical version of Chris Rock or a rapper performing as Obama. Won’t that give Bookman a big laugh? I tell you this satire may work after all.

The Tina Fey-partisan hack connection is a great example of how the liberal media pushes its propaganda from all directions. The partisan hacks at the AJC have gleefully run “news stories” and video clips of Tina Fey’s partisan attacks, making SNL just another outlet for the liberal noise machine.

I wonder what the polls would say if McCain and Palin were not constantly under assault by SNL, the View, Colbert, the Daily Show, Letterman, Leno, Conan, Kimmel, MTV and the Today Show, let alone the hyper partisan networks and liberal opinion journals like the AJC. Too bad we’ll never know, as our media will be picking our candidates for now on. What a superior system to actually treating the Republican candidates the same as Democrat candidates and trusting the American people to make their own decisions. Liberal hacks in the “news” media and popular media have decided that Americans are too stupid to make up their own mind. That’s why they pick our candidate for us by demonizing the candidates they don’t like (McCain/Palin) and giving a complete pass to the candidates they do like (Obama/Biden.) I’m so glad to know that comedians, talk show hosts and hack pundits will be making our decisions for us.

RW,

that poll is discussed in the body of the story

I suppose you’re referring to the USA Survey Poll?

from the article:

The new results stand in contrast to the findings of a SurveyUSA poll, commissioned by KSTP-TV and also conducted this week, that shows Coleman with a 10-point lead over Franken, 43 to 33 percent.

Citing that poll, the Coleman campaign called the Minnesota Poll and its methodology “flawed,” campaign spokesman Luke Friedrich said.

“Minnesotans should take the Star Tribune poll for what it’s worth,” Friedrich said.

“This is an independent pollster who is respected across the country,” Star Tribune editor Nancy Barnes said. “It’s the same pollster who found the presidential race in Minnesota to be a dead heat last month. All polls have a margin of error, but on the whole we trust that these results have merit.’’

The Minnesota Poll results suggest Franken may be riding the coattails of Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama, who has widened a lead over Republican John McCain in polls across the country. But the advertising war in the race also appears to be a factor decidedly in Franken’s favor.

GOP Strategists Whisper Fears Of Greater Losses in November

By Chris Cillizza and Shailagh Murray washingtonpost.com Staff Writer and Washington Post Staff Writer Saturday, October 4, 2008; Page A11

With the party already struggling to generate enthusiasm for its brand, Republican strategists fear that an outpouring of public anger generated by Congress’s struggle to pass a rescue package for the financial industry may contribute to a disaster at the polls for the GOP in November.

“The crisis has affected the entire ticket,” said Jan van Lohuizen, a Republican consultant who handled the polling for President Bush’s reelection campaign. “The worse the state’s economy, the greater the impact.”

Republicans are trying to defend at least 18 House seats in Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Florida, economic trouble spots that double as election battlegrounds. Rising unemployment, the meltdown in the housing market, and a credit crunch besieging consumers and manufacturers alike were factors in Sen. John McCain’s decision Thursday to pull campaign resources out of Michigan. The McCain campaign’s exit from the state leaves a pair of vulnerable Republicans, Reps. Tim Walberg and Joe Knollenberg, with a weakened party infrastructure heading into Nov. 4. Attempting to sound optimistic, Knollenberg, who opposed the bailout bill on Monday but supported a revised version yesterday, said simply, “I am going to fight harder.” ad_icon

In the Senate, where Democrats have been on offense all year as they try to attain a filibuster-proof, 60-seat majority, Republican incumbents are suddenly teetering in North Carolina, Kentucky and Georgia because of the economic crisis, according to several GOP strategists closely tracking the contests.

And for safety reasons should never, ever attempt it.

It would be great to see Franken win, if for no other reason that to totally p!ss off Bill O’Lielly.

No machine has yet passed the test devised by Turing, who helped to crack German military codes during the Second World War. But at 9am next Sunday, six computer programs - ‘artificial conversational entities’ - will answer questions posed by human volunteers at the University of Reading in a bid to become the first recognised ‘thinking’ machine. If any program succeeds, it is likely to be hailed as the most significant breakthrough in artificial intelligence since the IBM supercomputer Deep Blue beat world chess champion Garry Kasparov in 1997. It could also raise profound questions about whether a computer has the potential to be ‘conscious’ - and if humans should have the ‘right’ to switch it off.

Raise your hand if you think that these computers will be “thinking.”

Morons.

What ever a computer does has been programmed into it by a human, any geek with enough time can enter code into software so that when the computer “hears” a certain question, it responds with a programmed response.

Much like Oblahma does, hahahahahahahahahahah, am I good or what?

Bless me, but I do seem to have a propensity for posting in a blog just as it dies out. But forgive me.. here goes:

An important message for RW, AJC/DNC, @@ et al, We got an “Emergency Response Message” from John McCain in the mail today. I thought you might want to know… he’s asking you for an “Emergency Membership Contribution of $500 or even more if you can afford it,” because The Obama Democrats and their left-wing special interest allies have come together in a united front, combining their enormous fundraising arsenal. Meanwhile, the national Democrats led by Howard Dean are stepping up their cynical campaign of distortions and outright lies, and with the help of their cronies live MoveOn.org, are raising staggering amounts of money.

“I would not ask for your help if the circumstances where (sic) not so dire. However, it is clear that the weeks and days ahead will be the most important yet in our battle to defeat the Democrats and their deeply flawed policies that embrace higher taxes, more government spending, socialized medicine and surrender in Iraq.”

Running scared.. running scared! It is always amusing to receive these mailings - the Republicans assume we are party members simply by our Zip Code - I always find the “surveys” especially slanted and distorted. RW, AJC/DNC and @@, can you “stand with them in their struggle?”

Geezer/Gidget? Now THAT is funny!

Andrew, well said. After 8 years of Curious George, most rational Americans are not thrilled at the prospects of sending back another intellectual lightweight, who is in way over their head.

Yeah, Jode your regular rethuglicon here, female, male or Dusty, is a real asset to the gene pool. The most disturbing aspect is that some of these half-wits have produced little rethuglicons!

Ted, just keep baiting the hook and watch these handful of bottom feeders swallow it!

As in our poor misunderstood ricky retardo.

Got his big-girl panties all in an unbecoming, angry wad on a Saturday night…

Methinks he’s still most upset about being the butt of the long standing joke of his looking for those elusive holes in the fossil record!

Or his newly beloved Texas Rangers playing .600 baseball this year! (Or was that wobbles in the earth’s orbit causing our climate change?)

What a maroon…

And just because he is such a BIG fan of my musings:

Republican Bloodbath, Part Deux. Coming to an election everywhere this November.

I’ll take an 80% Governor over a “present” community organizer any day.

For the SECOND time tonight. that 80% figure is specious.

And how she ultimately affects this election, that is BY FAR the most relevant number.

Just trying to keep the “loyal opposition” at least a tiny bit honest…

Re the VP debate: It is offensive to think that Sarah Six Pack”s winky-wink performance gave anyone a measure of confidence in her abilities. These are the same people who downplay elitism, intelligence, and class as something above the general American public. I am sick of having some politician telling me “What the American people want…..”

What I want are well-informed, intelligent, articulate leaders — I can’t imagine anyone like Palin, who is “gonna” be engaged in discourse with world leaders inviting them in (with all her down home folksiness) in robe and slippers and offering them a beer.

I am certain that whoever becomes the leader of our country will not be able to solve all our problems in the next four years, but I at least hope they can bring to the office some DIGNITY - maybe that’s all we can expect from our leaders right now is HONESTY AND DIGNITY…..that would be a refreshing change I can believe in!

DimVet, The pinko media has been on an all-out smear fest against Palin from the day she was selected. All of that has an affect on dimwits who don’t have the mental capacity (liberals) to see what the media is doing and why.

Do you really think her performance has gone down over the past 5 weeks to cause the decline or is it just the constant negative MSM onslaught bringing it down? Based on your past perceptions, I’ll assume you know the answer to that one.

BTW, what do you think Obama would give to have an approval rating that high? Even the media manufactured 68%.

Rump Bumper, just trying to edumacate you as to the true value of accurate numbers.

(They are used in those silly, arcane subjects like math and science.)

I know accuracy matters little to you in the hyper-enraged and reality-challenged lunatic fringe.

But my point is simple. On the matter of claiming 80%, you are either willfully ignorant as to the real data or more likely, a liar hoping not to get caught. (Which is a REALLY stupid ploy, because whenever a neo-con uses numbers, they are almost always incorrect.)

This is widely known.

Do you really think her performance has gone down over the past 5 weeks to cause the decline or is it just the constant negative MSM onslaught bringing it down?

My opinion is irrelevant. Besides you already have all the answers, right big boy?

How old are you really? Twelve?

If the otherwise charming Ms. Palin wanted to hide from troopergate and having an embarrassment of a trampish teenage daughter who couldn’t keep her legs closed, she should have chosen a career other than politics.

And even a dunce like you should realize that after Newt the Nut and the Swift-boaters, nothing is off limits.
