:::St. Sarah thinking::::

Oh dear God, Katie’s gonna make me say something STUPID again, ya!

….and BINGO!

If you were a journalism major, why couldn’t you just name ONE paper you look at—-?

Can’t name a Supreme Court case other than Roe V.Wade; Mocking Biden’s age—brilliant—esp. when your running mate is OLDER.

Jay, I don’t know about a clever stand-alone caption but how about an article that starts off like this (Now, where have I seen this idea before…Wooten, perhaps):

WWPS — What would Putin Say, when Palin says: 1) “I can see Russia from my back porch” 2) “If it’s a cold war he wants, then that’s what I’ll give him because we’re just as used to cold in Alaska as they are in Russia by golly” 3) “Well, I think you’re just getting a little too big for your britches, Mister Putin.”

Jay B,

How much time have you spent in Alaska?

I’ve spent considerable time up there and “reading what you get” isn’t the ridiculous answer that “news”room elitists in the lower forty eight would assume it is. I’ve also spent considerable time in very liberal Hawaii and in many places the “news”paper is a few photo copies of New York Times excerpts.

Governor Palin has had to actually make decisions about how her populace would progress. Her approval rating for how she performed that job is about 80%. Her liberal media approval rating is dismal, which is also about the same approval rating the people have for the liberal press.

I’ll take the people over the press without question.

“The Problem With a Bookman Is?”

I read everything I can’t get my hands on, but the only one I could name is Stratfor. I could rattle a bunch of names off without being able to tell anyone what it was I read there.

One thing I’ve noticed is that when Governor Palin is evasive, it reveals more about the Courics than the candidate. Could Palin be using a backfire strategy?

Who knows? Who cares?

Move on jay. You’re standing too close to the tailpipe.

She’s popular because she’s giving money away like a drunken liberal at your expense (federal tax dollars and higher gasoline prices). Obviously she doesn’t read any periodic publications and had zero interest in the lower 48 or international relations before being named as McCain’s great-woman-hope. Is Alaska a member of OPEC?

She should have said the National Enquirer.

She is a good actress playing ignorant and will dazzle us with her brilliance at the debate or a complete moron and worst VP pick ever.

Take your pick.

I actually think it’s a pretty good answer. Katie asks her what newspapers she reads to inform her worldview. What a stupid question. In the days of the internet, who doesn’t read them all? And most of them (particularly the AJC, the Times, the Post) certainly don’t inform my worldview. Unless it’s to help me establish my worldview in 180 degrees opposition to them. So if asked the same question, I would give a similar answer. I wouldn’t want the media to psycho analyze my reading selections.

JAY

So you found a video showing that perky Katie Couric is a sheltered liberal idiot living in NYC. So what?

Perky Katie doesn’t relate to the rest of the world. Pity.

BTW, how are perky’s ratings these days? Any better than the AJC? LOL.

The drunks, meth-heads, unwed mothers, teenage baby daddies, wifebeaters, poachers, welfare cheats and pork recipients that make up the vast majority of Alaska voters like Governor L=o-l-a Palin.

So of course, Georgians like her, too.

The caption that most sums it up:

Palin: “In what way, Charlie?”

As I said after the ABC interview: I so want to get into a poker game with her, because she absolutely sucks at bluffing.

Putin and other world leaders are going to eat her lunch… and by extension eat ours. Think about that when you head into the voting booth to vote for a 72-year-old 4x cancer survivor who won’t release his medical records to let us know that he’s really ok.

And Jay says: I tried. Honestly. I even asked my researchers to look. We could not find a single, solitary example of Obama or Biden that would reflect any thing but a readyness to lead and notable intelligence. Honest Injun, Red Ryder.

It is called an opinion column. But that is misleading. What it really is is an Obama campaign column.

Thanks, RW, for predictably being Palin’s lead apologist on this blog.

I can understand your opposition to Obama/Biden. I can almost understand your support of Bush. But for the life of me I am completely at a loss about your support for Palin. To think that she could occupy the Oval office. It’s almost like you are down on your knees praying for the final humiliation of the United States of America.

That’s it!!! Your posts are coming from somewhere in western Pakistan! It’s you, the unmentionable and unfindable. I know your religion permits you to have more than one wife, but Sarah is already taken.

J$, @@, Happy Herman, Sunshine & Thunder, and Andy,

Stop your pathetic whining about Jay’s columns. He writes from his perspective, and occasionally scolds the left (but not often). If you don’t care for his opinions, there are plenty of other blogs.

I don’t go to Wooten’s blog because I know what I’ll find there. SO if you want to express your opinion about Jay’s observation of the day (or hour), please share it. But when you constantly whine about his bias, it only makes you sound weak & defeated.

On exactly what issue is Nancy Pelosi any more knowledgeable than Sarah Palin? Pelosi can’t nearly match Palin’s expertise on energy policy, nor Palin’s record in cutting taxes and spending. In over 20 years in Congress, the ultra-left San Francisco Democrat has distinguished herself only in the mindless repetition of brain dead political propaganda, such as we saw at the beginning of this commentary.-American Spectator

This Palin chick is going to be nothing but an embarrasing footnote to the Republican party in a few months. She’s never going to be heard from again.
