FairTax debate airs tonight on CNN
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
For those who are interested, excerpts from the panel discussion on the FairTax that I taped with Neal Boortz and others for CNN are scheduled to be shown tonight at 10 p.m., with unedited video of the discussion to be posted sometime this weekend on the CNN site.
I’ll post a link to that video when it’s up. If someone else finds it first, please post it in the comments.

Awww…just as I get my hairplug jokes lined up, Bookman takes off on fair tax. I thought he was playing golf. Oh well, my hairplug jokes were decidedly the best (and only ones). Where’s PoFo when you need him?
Why waste time on fair tax? Nobody is interested except about one dozen people in the USA. The rest know it wouldn’t work. I guess CNN and Bookman have to have SOMETHING to do besides elections.

The Fair Tax is a taxpayer’s dream. It’s one of those never-to-be realized plans, like healthcare for America’s sick. or education for america’s uneducated.
With Biden, Obama will not win. He dropped the baton. Biden represents status quo: The power elite of aging silver haired Washington insiders Change is just a word, as we all suspected, but hoped not true.
No, McCain will win by an Ohio Diebold machine, (the Die is cast), and we will be a waring nation for generations.
There really is nothing to do but wage war anyway. Russia has the right idea. If you can take a province, TAKE IT! (Burt Lancaster, the Trial at Nuremberg.) and why have health care or education if you’re just going to draft the child as cannon fodder. Doesn’t take a rocket scientist to get blown to smithereens……D’OH! (camera to failed nasa rocket launch attempts).
Cant believe he picked biden. Go McCain.
Obama 08: The more things change, the more they stay the same.
McCain 08: Everybody fights together for a greater America.
Hillary as Veep 08: The great lost opportunity for real change, real healthcare, and real education. Hillary is our Marie Antoinette, her heady ideas chopped off at the knees by big insurance and the evangelical right.

Does Biden like the FairTax[tm]. At least when Biden gets in a heated exchange with McCain and brushes his hair back off his forehead, he’ll actually get Cindy to take notice — of his hair. Then, she’ll reminisce and look over at John and he’ll…well, you know it’s all down hill from there. Who knows what they’ll be debating before it’s all over. I wonder just how well versed Biden is at pushing McCain’s buttons anyway. I suspect that these next few months could get interesting.

Joe Biden: The Next President Is “Barack AMERICA!”
Told ‘ya RW. Looking at OBlahMa’s expression, I can’t tell if he’s thinking “Oh chit, what have I done?” or if it’s the usual look of “Enough already, it’s my time to talk — I’m so good at it.”
If I may say……the pre-plug Joe was rather cute. He has very pretty teeth.
Did you know Joe was in the dentist’s chair getting a root canal when he got the 62262 Text #? 62262 spells Obama on the phone touch pad. Now I could really have fun with a friend of mine who’s convinced OBlahMa’s the anti-christ. 6 plus 3 2s plus 6 = you know….

With Obama and McCain neck and neck in the polls, the election is likely to get personal. Republican activists are already mooting “Obama Bin Biden” bumper stickers.
You got have a good laugh every now and again.
While Huckabee and Gravel reported assets into the six figures, Biden, who has been serving in the Senate since he was 30, told the FEC that his assets were only between $62,000 and $405,000, with liabilities of between $140,000 and $365,000.
It’s a good thing that Lord High Dimwit didn’t hire this guy for his economic prowess.

Copy of an email I received (without the links):
Obama’s Not Exactly’s:
1.) Selma Got Me Born - NOT EXACTLY, your parents felt safe enough to have you in 1961 - Selma had no effect on your birth, as Selma was in 1965. (Google see ‘Obama Selma’ for his full March 4, 2007 speech and articles about its various untruths.)
2.) Father Was A Goat Herder - NOT EXACTLY, he was a privileged, well educated youth, who went on to work with the Kenyan Government.
3.) Father Was A Proud Freedom Fighter - NOT EXACTLY, he was part of one of the most corrupt and violent governments Kenya has ever had.
4.) My Family Has Strong Ties To African Freedom - NOT EXACTLY, your cousin Raila Odinga has created mass violence in attempting to overturn a legitimate election in 2007, in Kenya. It is the first widespread violence in decades. The current government is pro-American but Odinga wants to overthrow it and establish Muslim Sharia law. Your half-brother, Abongo Obama, is Odinga’s follower. You interrupted your New Hampshire campaigning to speak to Odinga on the phone. Check out the following link for verification of that….and for more. Obama’s cousin Odinga in Kenya ran for president and tried to get Sharia Muslim law in place there. When Odinga lost the elections, his followers have burned Christians’ homes and then burned men, women and children alive in a Christian church where they took shelter.. Obama SUPPORTED his cousin before the election process here started. Google Obama and Odinga and see what you get. No one wants to know the truth.
5.) My Grandmother Has Always Been A Christian - NOT EXACTLY, she does her daily Salat prayers at 5am according to her own interviews. Not to mention, Christianity wouldn’t allow her to have been one of 14 wives to 1 man.
6.) My Name is African Swahili - NOT EXACTLY, your name is Arabic and ‘Baraka’ (from which Barack came) means ‘blessed’ in that language. Hussein is also Arabic and so is Obama. Barack Hussein Obama is not half black. If elected, he would be the first Arab-American President, not the first black President. Barack Hussein Obama is 50% Caucasian from his mother’s side and 43.75% Arabic and 6.25% African Negro from his father’s side. While Barack Hussein Obama’s father was from Kenya, his father’s family was mainly Arabs.. Barack Hussein Obama’s father was only 12.5% African Negro and 87.5% Arab (his father’s birth certificate even states he’s Arab, not African Negro). From….and for more….go to…..
7.) I Never Practiced Islam - NOT EXACTLY, you practiced it daily at school, where you were registered as a Muslim and kept that faith for 31 year s, until your wife made you change, so you could run for office.
8.) My School In Indonesia Was Christian - NOT EXACTLY, you were registered as Muslim there and got in trouble in Koranic Studies for making faces (check your own book). February 28, 2008. Kristoff from the New York Times a year ago: Mr. Obama recalled the opening lines of the Arabic call to prayer, reciting them with a first-rate accent. In a remark that seemed delightfully uncalculated (it’ll give Alabama voters heart attacks), Mr. Obama described the call to prayer as “one of the prettiest sounds on Earth at sunset.” This is just one example of what Pamela is talking about when she says “Obama’s narrative is being altered, enhanced and manipulated to whitewash troubling facts.”
9.) I Was Fluent In Indonesian - NOT EXACTLY, not one teacher says you could speak the language.
10.) Because I Lived In Indonesia, I Have More Foreign Experience - NOT EXACTLY, you were there from the ages of 6 to 10, and couldn’t even speak the language. What did you learn, how to study the Koran and watch cartoons.
11.) I Am Stronger On Foreign Affairs - NOT EXACTLY, except for Africa (surprise) and the Middle East (bigger surprise), you have never been anywhere else on the planet and thus have NO experience with our closest allies.
12.) I Blame My Early Drug Use On Ethnic Confusion - NOT EXACTLY, you were quite content in high school to be Barry Obama, no mention of Kenya and no mention of struggle to identify - your classmates said you were just fine.
13.)An Ebony Article Moved Me To Run For Office - NOT EXACTLY, Ebony has yet to find the article you mention in your book. It doesn’t, and never did, exist.
14.) A Life Magazine Article Changed My Outlook On Life - NOT EXACTLY, Life has yet to find the article you mention in your book. It doesn’t, and never did, exist.
15.) I Won’t Run On A National Ticket In ‘08 - NOT EXACTLY, here you are, despite saying, live on TV, that you would not have enough experience by then, and you are all about having experience first.
16.) Voting “Present” is Common In Illinois Senate - NOT EXACTLY, they are common for YOU, but not many others have 130 NO VOTES.
17.) Oops, I Mis-voted - NOT EXACTLY, only when caught by church groups and Democrats, did you beg to change your mis-vote.
18.) I Was A Professor Of Law - NOT EXACTLY, you were a senior lecturer ON LEAVE.
19.) I Was A Constitutional Lawyer - NOT EXACTLY, you were a senior lecturer ON LEAVE.
20.) Without Me, There Would Be No Ethics Bill - NOT EXACTLY, you didn’t write it, introduce it, change it, or create it.
21.) The Ethics Bill Was Hard To Pass - NOT EXACTLY, it took just 14 days from start to finish.
22.) I Wrote A Tough Nuclear Bill - NOT EXACTLY, your bill was rejected by your own party for its pandering and lack of all regulation - mainly because of your Nuclear donor, Exelon, from which David Axelrod came.
23.) I Have Released My State Records - NOT EXACTLY, as of March, 2008, state bills you sponsored or voted for have yet to be released, exposing all the special interests pork hidden within.
24.) I Took On The Asbestos Altgeld Gardens Mess - NOT EXACTLY, you were part of a large group of people who remedied Altgeld Gardens. You failed to mention anyone else but yourself, in your books.
25.) My Economics Bill Will Help America - NOT EXACTLY, your 111 economic policies we re just combined into a proposal which lost 99-0, and even YOU voted against your own bill.
26.) I Have Been A Bold Leader In Illinois - NOT EXACTLY, even your own supporters claim to have not seen BOLD action on your part.
27.) I Passed 26 Of My Own Bills In One Year - NOT EXACTLY, they were not YOUR bills, but rather handed to you, after their creation by a fellow Senator, to assist you in a future bid for higher office.
28.) No One on my campaign contacted Canada about NAFTA - NOT EXACTLY, the Canadian Government issued the names and a memo of the conversation your campaign had with them.
29.) I Am Tough On Terrorism - NOT EXACTLY, you missed the Iran Resolution vote on terrorism and your good friend Ali Abunimah supports the destruction off Israel.
30.) I Want All Votes To Count - NOT EXACTLY, you said let the delegates decide.
31.) I Want Americans To Decide - NOT EXACTLY, you prefer caucuses that limit the vote, confuse the voters, force a public vote, and only operate during small windows of time.
32.) I passed 900 Bills in the State Senate - NOT EXACTLY, you passed 26, most of which you didn’t write yourself.
33.) I Believe In Fairness, Not Tactics - NOT EXACTLY, you used tactics to eliminate Alice Palmer from running against you.
34.) I Don’t Take PAC Money - NOT EXACTLY, you take loads of it.
35.) I don’t Have Lobbyists - NOT EXACTLY, you have over 47 lobbyists, and counting.
36.) My Campaign Had Nothing To Do With The 1984 Ad - NOT EXACTLY, your own campaign worker made the ad on his Apple in one afternoon.
37.) I Have Always Been Against Iraq - NOT EXACTLY, you weren’t in office to vote against it AND you have voted to fund it every single time.
38.) I Have Always Supported Universal Health Care - NOT EXACTL Y, your plan leaves us all to pay for the 15,000, 000 who don’ t have to buy it

Dusty,
I for one liked your effort at fulfilling Jay’s request for jokes about hair plugs. Everybody else, including myself, decided to take the easy route and talk about what a joke that having Hair Plugs as a VP would be, but you soldiered through and fulfilled the request.
The good news for Hair Plugs is that Democrats have a huge plastic surgery budget for the debate season and even though The Dunce is a dunce he really doesn’t need the work unless he wants to trim the moobs. That leaves the whole budget to getting a full set of sod instead of just plugs.

I’ve tried every way possible to post my links. Assuming something’s wrong with Jay’s site, I’ll cite:
Dear MoveOn member,
Today, the Associated Press (whose articles are published in thousands of newspapers nationwide) wrote a story about Barack Obama’s vice presidential pick that sounded more like right-wing FOX than an unbiased news organization. […]
This isn’t an isolated incident for the AP reporter who wrote this story, Ron Fournier—who was recently appointed as the AP’s Washington, D.C. Bureau Chief. Media watchdog group Media Matters wrote a report showing that Fournier’s presidential coverage has consistently smeared Democrats and favored John McCain.2
Can you email AP reporter Ron Fournier and CC his boss, Managing Editor Mike Oreskes? Tell them that the public’s faith in the 160-year-old AP will be gone if Ron Fournier is allowed to continue his slanted articles against Democrats and for McCain.
The posting cited ultra-left leaning shill Media Matters for America, which as readers know isn’t interested in exposing what it believes to be conservative bias in the press, but instead wants to eliminate all right-leaning opinions available in print and across the airwaves.
Of course, why shouldn’t MoveOn use MM as a reference given both organization’s ties to George Soros?
There ^^^ you go!

Just when you think you’ve heard it all…
One of the liberal twinkletoes at the New York Slimes, Mark Rich, thinks that the main stream media hasn’t exposed/researched McCain enough and therefore he’s a candidate that “we still don’t know.” Kid you not. Listen to this idiot:
So why isn’t Obama romping? The obvious answer — and both the excessively genteel Obama campaign and a too-compliant press bear responsibility for it — is that the public doesn’t know who on earth John McCain is. The most revealing poll this month by far is the Pew Research Center survey finding that 48 percent of Americans feel they’re “hearing too much” about Obama. Pew found that only 26 percent feel that way about McCain, and that nearly 4 in 10 Americans feel they hear too little about him. It’s past time for that pressing educational need to be met.
With ALL DUE RESPECT moron, I’d say the REAL OBAMA has yet to be exposed, and mindless liberal media protectionist goons like you Mark are keeping his secrets under lock and key. Take a walk, clown.

There was another article at AP that referenced some investigation into a bill pushed by Joe and OBlahMa — farm subsidies or something. It involved Joe’s brother?

Geeze I missed this from AJCM at 8:47PM:
While Huckabee and Gravel reported assets into the six figures, Biden, who has been serving in the Senate since he was 30, told the FEC that his assets were only between $62,000 and $405,000, with liabilities of between $140,000 and $365,000.
You have GOT to be kidding me. That is pathetic. I was on the lower end of that range of assets at the age of 30. No wonder those idiot neo-Marxist liberal Democrats want to steal money that belongs to others.

Nope RW, I know the two link limit from Wooten’s blog well. I have tried to post links from the LA Times and others, so it’s hardly a blockage of neocon links or whatever. Methinks the liberal blog goon manning the controls is just having a little “fun” so to speak. I could care less tho. I’m used to being censored from the mindless left - even when posting clean.

Change you can count on:
Sen. Magnificent Dimwit’s wife and three close advisers have been involved with a program at the University of Chicago Medical Center that steers patients who don’t have private insurance — primarily poor, black people — to other health care facilities.
Michelle Obama — currently on unpaid leave from her $317,000-a-year job as a vice president of the prestigious hospital — helped create the program, which aims to find neighborhood doctors for low-income people who were flooding the emergency room for basic treatment.-Chicago Sun Times
On top of that, then they get to whine and moan about the “crisis.”
This is the dimwitocrat party in action, they boot the poor and needy into the streets, then go on huge crying jags about the “unfairness of Bush’s failed policies” and finally they create some monster federal bureaucracy that feeds them the money that they so disgustingly lust over.
I wonder how many patients that $200,000 of Mrs. Dimwit’s salary of $317,000 would treat?
Who knows how many other wormy liberals are laid up at UIC sucking their patients dry?
What’s “big oil” got on Big Doctor?
~~~~~
O.K. what’s up with dis:
Campaign donations totaling more than $200,000 in the past two decades from Delaware-based MBNA, the credit card company, and from trial lawyers, including Richard “Dickie” Scruggs, one of the three men implicated in the Mississippi bribery scheme.-Urinal/DNC?
An October surprise in August, just before the convention?
Do I sense a push to get KKKlinton nominated?
By “clean,” Biden says he meant fresh and new.Urinal/DNC
Yeah, all those other black guys are nasty and old.
~~~~~
British skittish: Beijing may be hard act to follow-Urinal/Jihad
Not if the British enslave their citizens and force labor them for the good of the state.
How many Chinese had to die so that thee Urinal could gloriously dis the West?
Sick.

Afghan leader criticizes airstrikesCol. Rauf Ahmadi, a police spokesman who was present in the village with the government delegation Saturday, said the dead included 50 children, 19 women and 26 men. The bombs were so devastating that there were no wounded, he said. Ahmadi emphatically denied that there were any Taliban in the village at the time of the strikes.-Urinal/Jihad
An airstrike with no survivors, eh?
Check out what the Duh Report is fixing to say because you will find it to be the truth, despite what the maggots at the AJC so hysterically accuse otherwise:
The U.S. attacked a Taliban leader killing him and 24 raghead terrorists.
The raghead terrorists killed the villagers because somebody ratted out the Taliban leader.
And the raghead terrorists know full well that their wormy propaganda ministry, the AJC, will blame it on the Americans.
Now watch as the truth unfolds and realize what scum these people at the Urinal really are:
There also have been calls from members of the Afghan parliament and Western analysts to bring Special Forces, who often have been involved in calling in airstrikes on civilians, under stricter constraints.-Urinal/Jihad
Calling our soldiers wanton murderers, there is a special place for you filthy…………..
And then they step right up and justify a real atrocity:
A roadside bomb killed 10 civilians Saturday as they rode in a small bus in southern Kandahar province, according to an Afghan police chief, Matiullah Khan. Roadside bombs are typically aimed at Afghan and NATO troops but often are triggered early and kill civilians.-Urinal/Jihad
You people make me sick.
~~~~~
When asked, however, neither politician can offer a shred of state data to support his claim that the hundreds of thousands of Georgians legally able to carry concealed handguns have been carefully vetted and pose no risks. Instead, both attribute their rosy view of concealed-carry permit holders to the same source —- GeorgiaCarry.org, a gun lobby group.-Urinal/PMS
Gee, I wonder what would happen if one legal permit carry weapon was pulled out and used to kill an innocent group of restaurant patrons?
Hmmmmmmmmmmm.
24/7 non stop coverage in the media?
And when, pray tell, has that ever happened?
Should be relatively easy to track, dontcha think?
I wonder why it is that the only thing the Urinalists can do is speculate about it maybe or possibly happening?
Because it hasn’t you reckon?
~~~~~
Ironically, some white voters (primed by John McCain’s negative ads) see something to dislike in Obama’s success. In certain precincts, he’s been labeled arrogant. Or elitist. Or presumptuous. Or all three.-Queen Pinko, Urinal
Or a clueless Dimwit.
The growth of the black middle class is one of this nation’s great success stories, a testament to the country’s expansion of opportunity across the color line.-Queen Pinko
Did that one slip?
I mean really, to listen to Oblahma and Bigot Cynthia tell it, you would think the United States is pro slavery.
How then can blacks be successful in such an awful country?
Amazing, isn’t it?

For a man who talks so often about “hope,” Senator Obama doesn’t offer much of it in meeting this great challenge to the conscience of America. His extreme advocacy in favor of partial birth abortion and his refusal to provide medical care for babies surviving abortion should be of grave concern to reasonable people of goodwill on both sides of this issue. There is a growing consensus in America that we need to overcome narrow partisanship on this issue for both women in need and the unborn. We need more of the compassion and moral idealism that my opponent’s own party, at its best, once stood for. No one is above the law, and no one is beneath its protection.
Upholding these principles, and bringing Americans together on the side of life, is the work of leadership. And I can assure you that if I am president, advancing the cause of life will not be above my pay grade. Thanks for listening.

I still cant get over Obama’s choice 4VP. I hope the adage that predicts the ballot-box irrelevance of a Veep choice is true. But we seem to be in unchartered territory with the first Black President. A woman would have made more sense. (A woman who got more votes than the Candidate). How did Michigan and Florida not get counted, anyway?
That is THE story of the campaign. You wont believe what really happened. Now I wouldn’t presume that anyone else out there is interested enough to click on a link I might provide. Research it yourself, it’s not like it takes any longer to google than to click on a virus link from RW.
It has to do with rules. The rules in FLorida and Michigan. THe consequences for early primaries are different for GOP candidates than Democratic Candidates. So, by attaching very attractive riders to the state legislation that legalized the early primaries, the GOP tricked the democratic reps into voting UNANIMOUSLY for the early primaries.
That one fact alone should disqualify and dismantle the Democratic Party forever. Who needs fallguys like that?
Hillary must not be sleeping very well knowing that she should be the candidate. Count Florida and Michigan and we’ve got the first woman president. No doubt about it.
Now, this brings up the question, “Did one person, like a Rove or a Cheney, figure this out in advance, (Hillary’s inevitability), and then plot to kill her chances knowing the rules of both parties, and knowing just how to sucker the democrats into voting for the coup d’etat against Hillary’s candidacy?
Fear that person, and that political prowess. That is a Napoleon, a Stalin, a Lincoln, and a Sitting Bull. That person is probably the same person who achieved the obliteration of any evidence that George Bush was even on the planet while he “served” in the Nat. Guard.
That person knew that there was this myth about early primaries steering the course of the election, when in the long primary season and run-up to the conventions, the first primaries melt like the snows the voters had to wade through to get to the polls. But that person knew how much the average idiot believes in those kinds of myths. This was that person’s Ace. He played our system like Paginini played a violin.
Fear that power. Fear it, fear him, fear her, who or whatever it is.
Find that power, and expose that power, and you’ll be starring in your own Zapruder film.
What’s really scary is that the democrats knew their primary wouldn’t count when they voted unanimously for it.

British skittish: Beijing may be hard act to follow-Urinal/Jihad
Yeah, I agree:
A million and a half residents expelled. Free speech strangled. Elderly women jailed. That’s what it means when a police state like China hosts the Olympics. That’s what you get when the IOC and its corporate supersponsors care more about television ratings and market share than about the values of the Olympic movement. That’s what happens when the free world cons itself into believing that China’s Communist rulers, who sustain genocide in Sudan and torture nuns in Tibet, will refrain from doing whatever it takes to turn the Olympics into a vehicle for totalitarian self-glorification.
The cruelty and deceit were on display right from the start, from the digitally faked fireworks to the last-minute yanking of a 7-year-old singer because a Politburo member decided she wasn’t pretty enough. To produce the synchronized pageantry of the opening extravaganza, thousands of performers were forced to endure horrendous conditions. The ceremony’s 2,200 martial artists, for example, drilled 16 hours a day, seven days a week, for months, and were forbidden to leave the army barracks where they were quartered. Prolonged exposure to the relentless summer sun “resulted in heatstroke for some students,” AP reported; one grueling, rain-drenched rehearsal lasted 51 hours, “with little food and rest and no shelter from the night’s downpour.”
Sick, AJC, sick.

To the uninformed visitor, it has become difficult to tell whether Denver is preparing for a Democratic National Convention or the institution of martial law. Helicopters filled with armed commandos swooped over downtown in a training exercise earlier this summer. A warehouse was converted into a temporary jail with chain-link fences and signs threatening the use of electric stun devices. Travel agents sold getaway packages to locals, with one company imploring residents to “escape town while you still can.”
Lots of dimwit liberals in need of close adult supervision, no?
What, exactly, can Denver expect this week? That’s difficult to predict, experts said. Conventions have transpired without major unrest since riots broke out at the 1968 Democratic convention in Chicago. Four major protest groups — one called Recreate ‘68 — plan to demonstrate in Denver, mostly to demand more rights for immigrants and an end to the Iraq war. Organizers said they expect more than 25,000 protesters to participate, with the stated goal of derailing convention proceedings.
In the local newspapers, Denver officials have outlined several worst-case scenarios: Protesters might chain themselves together with chicken wire, use quick-setting cement to block streets or threaten delegates with violence. One city councilman said anarchists had rented a house in Denver and stocked it with urine, which would be sprayed on crowds as they entered the Pepsi Center.
How very nice.

Before we move forward with the quiz about how the GOP tricked the dems into the early primary in fLorida, a word of caution is in order about clicking on any links you find in any chatroom or blog on the internet. Trolls sometimes provide links to sites that contain viruses. Now, most anti-viral software works most of the time, but the trolls can easily overcome any firewalls or countermeasures. Some trolls are so sick and twisted that they’ll not post a viral link for months or years, and entice the unsuspecting to click and click and click with no consequences, but, then, one day, CRASH!!
There are sick, twisted dented heads and mush-brained critters who blog 50 times a day on this site right here. 80 percent of all the comments here come from two or three individuals who are obviously insane. (hey, I minored in psyche, and their syntactical choices satisfy every known clinical criteria for socio-psycho pathology. And yes, I achieved 3.9 average. If I take just one or two more classes I can declare a double major with accounting. Yes, I’m THAT versatile.)

The hollow-eyed moonbat from San Freaksisco can’t run congress other than some interior decoration and menu modifications. Hell if we wanted someone who was actually good at that, we’d have put Martha Stewart in charge of the gavel. And she can actually sell books too. LMAO.
Anyone seen Congress’ approval rating lately? Oh yeah: from Polling Report dot com, about three quarters of Americans disapprove. And did I hear some mindless hysterical liberal moonbat say the Republicans were fired for incompetence or something? Uh huh. What liberal tools.
(I have to type in my links because I cannot post credible links even like CNN and the LA Times here for whatever reason - censorship?)

To T W, I would say tat your smug self righteous left wing socialist friends that have dumped trillions of dollars into the welfare system for the last 50+ years have done a lot more harm to our country than the Republicans.
What do we have to show for that money? Hip hop, rap, gangstas, ghetto rats, drugs, hookers, a broken subculture, a worse economy, uneducated children of single parent homes, etc etc etc. But on the up side for you morons, they do all at least vote Democrat, don’t they?

RW, I think those mindless sheeple idiots (Oblahma yourths) at that concert were too stoned too do anything, let alone have the cognitive capability to reason on McCain and global warming. The only thing they could do was wig out to Space Port B, man.Cool man. Awesome dude. They’re so stoked man - they got text messaged at 3am by Oblahma.
Mindless liberals have a hard enough time putting two and two together without weed - they don’t need much help in dumbing down.

AMEN, Bud. However, mindless hysterical emotion-driven liberalism doesn’t want to hear that. It’s somehow your fault and my fault, and hence, we need to be punished accordingly by even higher taxes.
Liberalism is the anchor around humanity’s neck in America. And that’s the damn truth.

Let’s see here. It’s a cloudy Sunday in August, the outdoor weather station is showing 76.8 degrees at 12:30PM (thank you global warming fanatical liberals, that’s perfect for deck grillin’), and I’m at a real dilemma in decision making here. Do I go to the meat market and buy a few filet mignons or do I instead eat a can of Vienna sausages and give my money to some homeless bum in Midtown so he can go buy booze and cigarettes? Decisions, decisions. I’m enjoying these kinds of decisions of freedom while I still have them…

To back up what RW stated at 12:15 for the mindless hysterical emotion-driven huffpuff liberals out there, Newsweek ran a story on global cooling in 1975:
There are ominous signs that the Earth’s weather patterns have begun to change dramatically and that these changes may portend a drastic decline in food production – with serious political implications for just about every nation on Earth. The drop in food output could begin quite soon, perhaps only 10 years from now. The regions destined to feel its impact are the great wheat-producing lands of Canada and the U.S.S.R. in the North, along with a number of marginally self-sufficient tropical areas – parts of India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Indochina and Indonesia – where the growing season is dependent upon the rains brought by the monsoon.
Junk science indeed.

Couric asked McCain if it will now be more difficult to criticize Obama’s foreign policy credentials, since Biden is an experienced and respected voice on Capitol Hill.
So which one is running for president, Hair Plugs or Thee Dimwit?
“I disagreed with him from the time he voted against the first Gulf War to his position where he said you had to break Iraq up into three different countries,” McCain said. “I never agreed with that.
Hair Plugs, purveyor of kook foreign policy, no wonder the moonbats respect him, hahahaha.

More of that “News”weak article on global cooling in 1975:
To the layman, the relatively small changes in temperature and sunshine can be highly misleading. Reid Bryson of the University of Wisconsin points out that the Earth’s average temperature during the great Ice Ages was only about seven degrees lower than during its warmest eras – and that the present decline has taken the planet about a sixth of the way toward the Ice Age average.
Others regard the cooling as a reversion to the “little ice age” conditions that brought bitter winters to much of Europe and northern America between 1600 and 1900 – years when the Thames used to freeze so solidly that Londoners roasted oxen on the ice and when iceboats sailed the Hudson River almost as far south as New York City.
Just what causes the onset of major and minor ice ages remains a mystery. “Our knowledge of the mechanisms of climatic change is at least as fragmentary as our data,” concedes the National Academy of Sciences report. “Not only are the basic scientific questions largely unanswered, but in many cases we do not yet know enough to pose the key questions.”
And brother, they are STILL unanswered. Fortunately, more and more global scientists have pulled their collective heads out of Algore’s backside to smell fresh air and realize the possibilities of emotion-driven junk science.

McCain’s problem now in the debates will be his strategy flip flop now that the Bush Administration has cut and run, letting the terrorists win in Iraq, with that withdrawal timetable. Remember, the first enemy/terrorists was the bathist party headed by saddam hussein: THe mission of US troops was to depose Saddam and dismantle the bathist party. The second enemy/terrorists was former bathist sunnis who wanted revenge for being deposed from a power they held for 75 years. The third enemy/terrorists was shia milita renegade who wanted to make sure the sunnis never achieved a stranglehold on the power which they persecuted shias with for 75 years. The fourth enemy/terrorists was a franchised Al QUeda. The fifth enemy/terrorists was Iran. Now it’s back to the Sunnis again who are being paid not to fight, and of course the Shia’s are next in the line, I guess this war will just be a merry-go-round of enemies.
What is the troop mission statement of McCain now that Bush has cut and run from Iraq?

Please read this situation and tell me what you think about it. This may be entirely made up, it may be partially true, or it may be completely true. That’s up to you to decide, but check it out:
A friend has a drop dead gorgeous $3 million Mediterranean style house somewhere. His wife owns her own company and makes God knows how much working out of their home. Said wife needed to hire an assistant for office admin stuff as her business was growing too rapidly to manage solo. She went to a temp agency and gave her job description and whatnot to them.
A few days later a woman shows up at her door. She was nice and seemed to fit right in, and apparently wasn’t intimidated by working in the office of a $3 million mansion. So for 90 days she does her thing well, the faxes, the phone calls, yadda yadda. Well, after 90 days the friend’s wife decides to hire this woman.
Within a week after being fully hired, this woman started calling in sick. Then, when she did show up, she wouldn’t do her job like fax papers over and whatnot. This friend’s wife gave this woman multiple opportunities to correct herself and do what she was being paid to do, but her performance was hurting the business bigtime.
So, said friend’s wife had finally had enough and told the woman it wasn’t working out and that she needed to find someone else. Well, within a week the friend’s wife got a phone call from an attorney stating that his client had filed a racial discrimination lawsuit against her - for a cool $250k or so.
At this point nothing has gone to court yet. She may settle out of court, who knows.
How come you don’t hear or read about stories like this from the main slime media investigative hounds?

Jump in the 1985 DeLorean time machine with me and let’s go back to 02/04/07 and check out what the libs at the LA Slimes are saying about Biden:
DELAWARE Sen. Joe Biden has been telling people for months that he’s going to run for president, as if nobody could actually believe it. Even when he formally announced last week, I still didn’t believe it. In fact, I’m not quite sure what it would take to make me believe it. If I turned on the television and watched Biden formally accepting the nomination at the Democratic National Convention, I might believe it then. (On the other hand, I’d probably figure I was suffering some hallucinatory episode and check myself into a hospital.)
I’m not saying Biden shouldn’t be president. I have tons of respect for him, and I think he’d do a terrific job if he could get it. I just find it amusing that he thinks there’s some chance he could actually become president. It’s a case study of that bizarre mental affliction that strikes so many senators. They see younger, less-experienced Senate colleagues – who are far less esteemed than they are – running for president, and they’re offended. If the 100 senators were the only ones who could vote, Biden would probably beat Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama. Unfortunately for Biden, that’s not how it works.
Now let’s reprogram the flex capacitor for today, nail 88 mph, and open up those gull wings after a screeching sliding stop and read today’s LA Slimes OpEd:
Biden arrives on the ticket at a time when some of Obama’s political vulnerabilities seem to be taking a toll. A once-healthy lead in most polls has dwindled to a statistical tie after weeks of attack ads by McCain and the GOP portraying Obama as a celebrity out of touch with the needs of everyday people. Obama may be known for lamenting the high price of arugula at Whole Foods, but Biden took pains Saturday to talk about his difficult upbringing by a “single mom who had to struggle to support her son and her kids.”
Amazing. Simply amazing. The liberals in the main slime media couldn’t flip flop any faster than The Appointed One himself.

I believe Bush and McCain called a timetable for surrender, which Rice agreed to last week, “Cutting and Running” and “the terrorists winning”. Proof: Every news interview Bush or Cheney or McCain has given for the last five years. I’m ashamed that Bush, my commander in chief, has flip flopped on this cut and dry issue.
Now watch McCain’s new enunciation about the Iraq War. I’m voting for McCain, BTW, not just because he looks like Jiminy Cricket, but because I’m so angry at Obama for stiffing Hillary and blowing the certain landslide, with the ensuing healthcare and education for all Americans, that I’m going to do everything I can to revive the conservative cause of war for profit. Lets just get rich so we can throw a real hootenanny during the last days. (rapture, you know).
BTW: that’s what happened to the frozen bigfoot. That cop and that bubba really DID find bigfoot, but he disappeared in the Rapture of the Primates, which Nostradumbass predicted would happen just before the real Rapture of us human folk.
True. Proof? Simply look closely at the resemblance of the rare 50’s bigfoot footage to video’s of Earnest Helmsly’s toupee. a real bug in a rug, eh?.

Uh oh, looks like the center of the storm is smack over Southern Miss now - Favre’s old stomping grounds. How long before the New Orleans folks start blaming Bush for incompetence again?
NEW ORLEANS - Signs are emerging that history is repeating itself in the Big Easy, still healing from Katrina: People have forgotten a lesson from four decades ago and believe once again that the federal government is constructing a levee system they can prosper behind.
In a yearlong review of levee work here, The Associated Press has tracked a pattern of public misperception, political jockeying and legal fighting, along with economic and engineering miscalculations since Katrina, that threaten to make New Orleans the scene of another devastating flood.
In three years you think the idiots in local, state, and federal government would have figured it out by now. Oh well. Samo, samo. Drive down I-75 south of Macon and you will run across 80 miles of the same “construction” that was going on at the time of Katrina. Same thing goes for I-85 south of Newnan.
Government is the answer to all our ills according to the mindless hysterics on the left.

Let’s go over this real slow: Thee Magnificent Dimwit, or should I say whoever is in charge of that ticket, says he would flee from Iraq in 16 months, regardless of what the conditions on the ground were.
16 months from January 2009 would be April 2010, mouth breather.

COLORADO CONVENTION CENTER — Dawud Ummah is hoping to see a different message.
He wants a change from what he calls the evangelism and condemnation in many of today’s faiths, and he said he hopes today’s democrat party interfath gathering here will point to a new way.
“I would like to hear what they’re going to talk about,” said Ummah, a Muslim leader in a University of Maine interfaith community, “whether this can heal some wounds or be another Christian singing, gospel, evangelizing [event]. … I can’t take much more of that.”

Alright, this fair tax system idea is just foolish. If the United States of America is crazy enough to do this the United States of America will go bankrupt. As great as this may look on paper it simply will not work. Here is the consequences of implementing such a foolish idea:
1 the wealthy will still pay very little in taxes.Why? Because they have the luxury of being able to purchase products and services from anywhere in the world. Leading us to point #2
2 you will crush all business that cater to the wealthy. The wealthy will buy it elsewhere. This will take a big chunk out of the GDP and significantly increase the unemployment rate! 3 the united states will become a huge black market economy. If the USA goes to a fair tax system cash will become king and a large chunk of sales will be done under the table!To Sum - A fair tax system will inevitably fail. A fair tax system will destroy the American economy as the government will receive less and less tax revenue as more and more transaction are done “under the table”.
Steve
