Are those my only options?

from The Corner, the right-wing National Review’s group blog:

Question:

Would you rather:

a) watch last night’s McCain speech? Or

b) be waterboarded?

Pay per view of Comrade Bookman being waterboarded? I’m in!

How about Hannity? Can we watch Hannity being waterboarded?

Limbaugh wouldn’t know it was happening due to his drug intake so that wouldn’t be much fun to watch.

Honestly, I tried to tune in for a bit of Gramps’ speech last night.

Maybe it was the frightening bright-green backdrop, or the high-pitched whinyness of the man’s voice (boy, that is NOT going to wear well in the months ahead), but I didn’t last but a sentence or two.

Still, McCain told us that waterboarding is torture, and I imagine listening to McCain is probably not as as bad as that. So put me down for a).

If I gotta.

I’d rather be waterboarded than live in Bookman’s vision for America.

Hannity, Rush and Boortz in a daisy chain, nude being waterboarded! Have some Lee Greenwood playing softly with lots of American flags surrounding them!

Seems to be a lot of personal hatred for Bookman here; I guess that comes from being proved right, Jay. Don’t let it bother you.

Hopefully.., Obama’s humbling remembrance speech about those who fought for his equality includes the man who led America to the end of slavery, even against the objections of then democratic senators. Abraham Lincoln, the first republican president.

And let us not forget about the likes of Jay, who also mocked Abe’s sense of equality at that time..

Yes, it was a better time when Republicans stood for the underprivileged. Whatever happened to them?

Charles, you would be water boarded in Jay’s vision for America. Pacifists who obsess about political correctness simply pave the way for tyrants.

Just for fun, for those like me only willing to endure McCain’s speechifyin’ in small doses:

TPM has Fox News’ reaction to McCain and Obama’s speeches from last night.

I’m just sayin’, when you’ve lost William Kristol…
