Are you stressed out?
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
April is Stress Awareness Month — not that we needed anyone to remind us that we’re stressed out. What do you do to decompress when you’re feeling stressed?

I stress about world problems and politics, none of which I can control. I stress about being stressed. I need relief, but I don’t have the time to take to get assistance - and that stresses me. I spend so much money on the chiropractor that it is killing my budget….and that stresses me.
Though my family is long lived, I figure will all the stress I live with, I’ll be doing good to make it to 60….and I’m 45 now. …….and that stresses me too…..
By meditation can be helpful

Ever since 9/11 and all the evil in the world that seems to have been unleashed, I live with a certain level of discouragement and pessimism. My mind is rarely quiet and almost always has something running through it even if just a song; I think it’s a sign of anxiety. I recently decided to go to Barnes and Noble to use a gift card to purchase a basic meditation CD by Andrew Weil (Prevention mag). It was quite relaxing, with quiet music as backround for Weil’s gentle instruction on breathing and guided imagery on various topics from healing to healthy eating to connectedness. It was indeed quite relaxing and I intend to use it regularly.
