Would you have a “mommy makeover”?
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
The American Society of Plastic Surgeons released statistics that show “mommy makeover” procedures — tummy tucks, breast augmentations and breast lifts — rose 11 percent in 2006, as opposed to the 2 percent overall increase in cosmetic surgery. The rise could be attributed to women giving birth later and returning to work sooner, says an ASPS spokeswoman, noting that cosmetic surgery could help some women feel more comfortable, faster, with their appearance. Would you have a “mommy makeover”? Or are you comfortable just the way you are?
