Cheaters

Now and then everybody needs to cheat on their diet. Some people like to eat 100-calorie snack packs, while others measure out the tiniest portion of their favorite goodie — like half a Twinkie. What’s your favorite cheat? How do you keep from going too far?

Eating a 100-calorie snack pack or half a Twinkie is soooo not cheating.

Not in the real world.

Cheating is going out to LaFonda’s and eating so much chips and salsa that you’re full and still eating your cuban sandwich.

Cheating is drinking a 6-pack of beer.

Cheating is eating chicken-fried steak and mashed potatoes at Chilis and then getting the Chocolate Lava cake after.

Cheating is busting completely through your restraint.

A 100-calorie snack pack or half a Twinkie is just freaking torture. A gateway food…
