Fish for thought

Pregnant women, nursing mothers and women who want to become pregnant are told to limit the amount of fish they eat. The mercury contained in some fish — especially shark, swordfish and king mackerel — may be harmful to their fetuses. But whether or not they’re pregnant, many men and women avoid or limit their fish intake because of the potential for mercury contamination. Does mercury keep you away from fish? Or would you rather have the heart-healthy benefits the fish contain?
