Where can I find out what’s coming on, not tonight, but this weekend via this search layout?
Thanks,
Steve

Your new search is useless for a limited release movie where you want to find in which theaters it is playing. Also, you cannot look up movie times a day or more in advance.
As a result, I don’t think I will be using this search on a regular basis like I did with the previous one. Whoever thought the new design is better needs to re-think what the purpose of the search really is.

Why did you change the website. It was MUCH more user-friendly before. Ugghh …

I really liked it better the old way. I only go to the theater near my house and now I’m several clicks away from that…search by theater…more…scroll down…select my theater. Used to be I just picked my theater from the drop down and clicked GO.
I’ll go look at how the new layout affects teh restaurant reviews now.
Thanks for the easy way to provide feedback!!

really preferred the old way of finding movies - new method gives several theaters more placement while the neighborhood sites are shoved to second tier - please give us back the old faster way of finding what we want

I would be very grateful if a new restaurant category can be created:
Polish
We are an ethnic Polish restaurant in Norcross and a lot of customers have asked if we could identify ourselves more appropriately.
There are a lot of people living in Atlanta who have ancestry from Poland, or from a neighboring country, and would love to know about us and other Polish/Russian food-service establishments.
Thanks in advance, Marek Gimza

I can’t look up a theater to find what is playing there. This stinks.

The new search engine is useless and not user friendly. I can no longer look up restaurants by neighborhood and cuisine. I also don’t like the movie search. The old one was better. I doubt I will be using this site much in the future. You should take this search engine down and put the old one back up.

I liked the old search better. I like to search for movies (and restaurants) by city (or zip code would be great).

Thanks for the feedback — good comments — we are working to address several of the issues. We have added back the ability to search movies and events by date (in case you missed it, the location of the keyword search is now on the right side). With these changes, most of the old search features are now on the new search, and if you need to refine your search further you can always try the “Advanced Search.” Let us know if you see any other issues or have suggestions. I like the new category menu - makes it easy to look for events in the city - love the free events!

Wow
Way too many links and too many tabs.
Cut down the categories and put access to search and brose for movies, events and restaurants on the front page - without tabs.

Scott, the other day after you suggested that we could search by zip or city - by using the Advanced Search - I was able to do so. But tonight it’s not working. I can search by critic, release date, etc. but not by zip or city.
Help!!!!!

This new format really sucks! I just want to look up movies playing in my area, not looking through every theater in Atlanta. And who remembers the names of theaters anyway? Bring back the old format please.

Hi Patty, we moved the search by Zip back to the main search since it seemed to be something quite a few missed. I’m guessing it was on the movies search you were trying to do that you can now just go to the main search on the movies channel of accessatlanta.com. Let me know if you see anything else. Thanks

Went to the Northlake Movie Taven last week. Did a move and lunch. Food was really good, and the theater was nice. Staff people were pleasant.
Will definitely go again.

Horrible! It used to take me 30 seconds to find a movie based on using “Alpharetta” Now I have to wade through movies from all of Atlanta, even if I put in my ZIP code. What’s the point?
Did anyone at the AJC actually test this?

Tried using the new theater search - Did they close the theater at Discover Mills? I much prefer the original design - search by movie listing, city, or theater.

Thanks for adding the zip code search - so now if you could refine the search engine so it only picks up theatres in that zip code - it would be great.
Thanks again!!!

Don’t care for the new layout at all - Boaring and doesn’t have quick links for restaurants or movies. Won’t be using this site as my “go to” spot.

I give up. This is the fourth time I’ve tried to use Access Atlanta’s website to find out about movie showtimes in my area since you all changed the way to do that and I have yet to find what I wanted to know without going through half a dozen steps. It was a lot easier to get that information before you changed the process. I’ve read your comment about adding back the date part and then doing an advanced search. Adding back the date is good, but why make it so demanding for your readers? Please go back to the simple two-step process you had before. Thank you.

This new format is terrible! It is useless. Are you bringing the old format back? How is a person able to find a movie at a theatre of their choosing?

I’m dropping off…let us know when you come into the new century folks.
