Look for Tuskegee to roll in Indy
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
And now for this weekend’s picks …..
Tuskegee vs. Alabama A&M in Circle City Classic: Tuskegee had a scare last week, winning by four at Fort Valley State, but the top-ranked HBCU sqaud should not have any problems with the SWAC member in Indianapolis.
Prairie View vs. Grambling in State Fair Classic: The Cotton Bowl in Dallas will be the site of the showdown between SWAC members. Grambling’s 3-2 with a defense that has allowed only seven points in its three wins. Don’t sleep on Prairie View, which has a 4-0 record and has been scoring in big numbers. This isn’t the Prairie View of old, so don’t be surprised when the Panthers win to extend their streak.
Hampton at Delaware State: Two of the three unbeaten teams in the MEAC square off in Dover, Del. The Pirates have dominated the recent series, winning 10 of the last 12, but the Hornets won at Hampton last season en route to a perfect conference record. Take Delaware State at home in a close one.
South Carolina State at Florida A&M : Matchup between the teams ranked second and sixth in this week’s Sheridan Broadcast Network Black College poll. The Bulldogs (3-2, 1-0 in MEAC) join Hampton and Delaware State as unbeaten MEAC teams heading into the weekend, and the Dogs will suffer their first conference loss as the Rattlers prevail at home.
Savannah State at Clark Atlanta: Savannah State lost to previously-winless Howard last weekend while the Panthers won their fourth straight with a victory at Miles. Homecoming will be tight at CAU as the Panthers win again.
North Carolina A&T vs. N.C. Central: The 80th meeting between the long-time rivals will be held at Memorial Stadium in Charlotte. A&T has dominated the series, winning 14 of the last 17, but Central has won the last two - and should make it three in a hard-fought game.

SSU will beat CAU by 14 or more. SSU’s QB (true freshman) is the truth.

Kelvin Powell Def Coordinator CAU is doing a great job this year and I think he will make an excellent head coach in the near future.
