1/23: Auto Scoop nixed off V-103
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
V-103 has decided to end its weekly automotive advice show “Auto Scoop.” Last Saturday’s show was its last. PD Reggie Rouse said he wasn’t ready to announce what will replace it, if anything. Also, he had no answer for who the new mid-day host is going to be, deferring to his boss Rick Caffey, who will be back in town Monday.
Adam Goldfein, who co-hosted the show with Joyce Littell and is head of automotive services for CBS Radio, said he started the show in 2004 to help listeners with car buying. “It was a great run while it lasted,” he said. “Consumers felt like we were pro consumer. Dealers felt like we were pro dealer. We tried to walk the line and add entertertainment as well as helpful information.”
Goldfein has plenty of expertise in the area. His famil owned car dealerships and so did he before he got into radio.
For now, the TV show will continue on CW 69 at 10 a.m. Fridays and 3 p.m. Saturdays.

Now if the station would only nix Frank and Wanda, but I won’t hold my breath for that one.

Is Reggie Rouse in charge of putting the she man Ms. Sophia and gold toothed ghetto Wanda Smith on the morning show? If so this Rouse dude should be FIRED. It is time for a change in this country, not time for more ignorant Flava Flav-like radio and ignorant portrayals of black people.
Joyce Littell and Adam were informative and intelligent and provided a great service to the community. Substance goes and trash stays. Time for YOU TO change V-103!

Hate to see the auto show go. I bet Rick Caffey left town as he could not take anymore of the foolishness that goes on at that embarrassment of a station.
Verb splitting on a regular basis, trashy music that degrades our women, and bad images for our children. The nerve in calling them “The People’s Station”
I hope Rick Caffey is coming back from the planet mars so he can send Frank and cackling Wanda there and tell them about their new accommodations!
I’ll help : Move Ryan Cameron to the Morning show;NOW
Give Ramona Debreaux middays
Gregg Street Afternoon
Overall find INTELLIGENT dj’s. Mike Roberts and Carol Blackmon gave us good radio in this town for years, it can be done V-103.

Sorry to hear that. Although I don’t listen to Autoscoop, I usually always watch it on Saturday. It is a very informative show. I’ve learned a lot that I can use in my next car buying experience. I hope it does not stop coming on tv.
As for the hosts on V-103. They all suck except Ryan Cameron. Loveeeeeeeee him. I just wish Elle Duncan could go away.

What happen to Derrick Boazman on WAOK? It looks like he has been cut because that have some guy on now that is dry! I hope he was not axed.
By the way, for those who remember him, BJ Ellis passed last year! Him and I used to trade jab on this blog a couple of years back. I looked up his radio show on the web and it stated that he passed last summer.

I will miss Autoscoop.
I was not in the market for a car but I would always listen to them on Saturday mornings. I and a lot of Metro Atlantans learned alot from Adam. It was the rare radio talk show: entertaining and informative.
It was the only time I’d listen to V-103 for more than 2 minutes. I can’t take the cooning and buffoonary of Wanda and “Ms.” Sofia and the music is not in my wheelhouse.
I guess it’ll be Youngblood on Saturday mornings again.

Surprise the radio show is gone but the TV show is still on. Honestly, it’s foolish for V-103 to dropped its most informative show that contributed so much to the community.
Get ready for 72 month car loans and people trying to trade in their car after a year or so of buying it.

I listened to autoscoop for 2 years every sat for 3 hours on a radio station in Charlotte NC, and it’s been gone from that station for about a year and half now. but to be honest i feel like i know a lot more about the car dealers and they sneaky ways, I know more about what to watch out for and what things and services are out there to protect us car buyers. I think they should have moved it to another day or time frame.. What a huge lost to the community!!

I agree, give Frank the boot… I like Wanda but I could do without Frank! Ryan is awesome and love him!! V-103 just isn’t the same anymore and it isn’t the people’s station. Atleast not mine anyway!

It’s the morning show! Get it morning “show”! But they could play better music with more variety! Especially since they’re called the people’s station.
