11/14: Writers strike links
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
Are you having trouble comprehending this writers strike? The writers are wasting no time getting the word out, at least from their perspective, taking their campaign online onto YouTube. Here’s an example from the folks at “The Office.” “The Office,” by the way, has only one more fresh episode. Then it’s repeat hell until this strike is over:
If you want to know how many new episodes of your favorite shows are left to air, Michael Ausiello of TV Guide is keeping track here.. “Desperate Housewives” has three left, “Grey’s” has four, “CSI: NY” has six left, “Heroes” has three, “Ugly Betty” has five or six, “Private Practice” has four or five left, et. al.

Here’s Tim Kazurinsky (remember him from “Saturday Night Live”?) explaining the situation:

I hope the strike lasts for a long time. I’m sick of hearing about it and do not care about it.
Our lives will go on without new episodes of the junk they keep turning out anyway.

Sweet Chuck (from Police Academy) isn’t married to Dreyfus. Brad Hall is!

All new episodes of Two Guys Garage starring Atlanta’s own Sam Memmolo are available on The Speed Channel. A whole season’s worth already taped and ready for broadcast.

Check your facts Ho..Julia Louis-Dreyfus is married to Brad Hall, not Tim Kazurinsky.
From WikiPedia - “Since 1987, she has been married to actor/writer Brad Hall, whom she met while they were students at Northwestern. Hall also worked on SNL. They have two sons, Henry (born 1992) and Charles (born 1997).”

Why check the facts? It is the policy of the AJC to make up the news to their liking!

Good, let them strike!
The last writers strike was in the late ’80s (I think) and it was wall-to-wall hysteria: What will the public do without new shows on tv? We handled it just fine, btw…
It’s a different ballgame now where TV is competing head-to-head with the Web and video games (among others)for attention.

Cripes, Rodney, aren’t you getting tired of making a fool out of yourself? Between your lack of grammatical and punctuation skills (not to mention your invention of facts) a grade school class could use your “articles” as lessons on how not to be a journalist.
