7/6: Survivor radio
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
I wrote a blog entry a couple months back about 920/WGKA’s Hub Radio Show, which features local citizens gabbing about politics and other topics and listeners voting people off if they don’t think they can hack it. It airs on Saturdays at 6 and Sundays at 7. Here’s a story that ran in the Friday’s print edition..

Quote: *Randall Bloomquist, program director at rival WGST, said “Hub Radio’s” rotating panel may keep regular listeners from “bonding” with the participants. But otherwise, “I applaud anybody willing to try something new and different.”
Bloomquist said he has plans to do his own “reality show”-style talk show this fall but won’t reveal the details.*
After running several talk stations into the ground, Bloomquist wants to try something new at WGST. Hey Randy, will you still be employed at WGST in the fall?
Facts about Randall Bloomquist 1. He is a MORON 2. He is a STUPID MORON 3. A hemmorhoidal monkey with irritable bowel syndrome has more cogent thoughts than Bloomquist

Survivor radio? That’s what we could have called Star 94’s fireworks show Wednesday night at Centennial Park. We got out of there before it began because of all the thugs and gang fighting near the fountains. My 10 and 11 year old almost got stampeded wehn the crowd tried to avoid the punches and gun shot. It was a free for all without enough security. DO NOT take your children there next year - it isn’t safe.

Randy G- That sounds like a typical Atlanta event. The ghetto coons from the projects have to act a fool and ruin everything. If only we could get them to stay below I-20, Atlanta could become a nice, safe place again with all of the white tees running around.

I guess they need to do something to keep the needle moving back and forth at WGKA. WGKA is for folks who are convinced that Rush Limbaugh is a left-wing liberal.
