10/31: Denny’s protest of CNN
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution

Denny Schaffer, mid-morning host at 640/WGST/AM, held a protest at CNN Monday at 3 p.m. About 25 showed up by 3:30 p.m. They stood on the edge of the sidewalk in front of CNN with signs like “CNN Good 4 Terrorists Bad 4 America’ and “CNN is the Al Qaeda Poodle.” The reason? They aired some terrorists killing American soldiers, which Denny felt was aiding and abetting the enemy and made it clear CNN was anti-American.
Denny, cigar in mouth, held a megaphone and yelled at cars, “CNN loves terrorists. Wolf Blitzer loves Osama Bin Laden!” He said he didn’t hold the protest from 9 to noon, his air time, because he felt he wouldn’t get people there. One guy who didn’t identify himself held up a huge four-way sign using a clothes hanging mechanism. I’ll post the photos once I get home.

Roger Fisher, a 43-year-old College Park construction builder (above), said he enjoys Schaffer. “He’s truthful,” he said. “He shoots from the heart. He tells you the way he feels.” He said when he heard about what CNN did, “I almost cried.” When he watched it, “I had to turn away.”
He normally listens to talk radio and watchs Fox News but occasionally checks in with CNN “to get the other side.”

CNN is reporting the news. That news is awful, but you are protesting to the wrong folks. Bush started the war, protest to him. CNN isn’t great by any means, but at least they aren’t total Bush puppets as Fox is.

He needs to find someone else to protest. They clearly marked the video as “Terrorist Propaganda.” They are reporting facts. Don’t we want news media that give us all of the facts instead of leaving certain facts out?

It helps the freaking enemy!! People already know the bad side of war you morans. They have the CHOICE to show the good that the troops are doing but they rather show the enemies’ PROPAGANDA!! Where the h$ll is the balance! Why don’t you lazy liberals get a job, so I don’t have to pay your welfare and read your American hating, enemy loving crap!!

Lynda, Oh Lord, don’t get me started. Bush didn’t start the war you freaking idiot, he was just the only one with enough balls to follow through with the upteenth (17th) damn resolution that the worthless United Nations set up. Simply stated, Saddamn had to comply 100% with the resolution and let the inspectors have access to everything and everyplace and if you don’t it will FINALLY be met with force. He didnt do it so Bush sent in the troops. Something I’d like to remind all you Libs of is that the US Congress voted to do that. Even the Dems. The worthless United Nations didnt want to back up their resolution, they wanted yet another resolution. Pathetic!!

CNN is pathetic. The only reason they showed the video was purely for a ratings boost. If they truly want to present the whole picture why not show the beheadings over there by the Islamic extremist, or the planning an execution of a suicide bombing against innocent civilians? Now the terrorist know they have an American outlet for their murder videos and will most assuredly continue to use it. Maybe some of you troglodytes should put some more thought into what you say. Yes the war is wrong and we should not be there but this is completely disgusting.

Al - you raise a good question. These knee jerkers living in a ‘Cold-War’ era mindset DO NOT want anyone reporting facts that get in the way of their version of events. To me showing those snipers shooting our soldiers kind of illustrates the sitting duck situation Bush and Cheney and Rumsfield have put our soldiers in for the past 3-years. Why would they want us to see that? It’s like banning pictures of soldiers’ flag-draped coffins coming home. They don’t want us to see the consquences of a war they lied to get us into. We live in a democracy you right-wing idiots! You are supposed to be defending our way of life - not tearing it down. You are helping the terrorists, not CNN or Bush war critics. If there are so many Americans dumb, naive, and stupid enough to believe this crap as spewed by Denny, Rush & Sean Vanity, & Leslie and the other nitwits, then we probably deserve the government we get (make that already have.) If you voted for Bush twice then you are in this category of Americans really doing the country the most harm.

I guess Denny Schaefer and Chris Krok are competing for the title of “Most Self-Aggrandizing New Radio Talk Show Host In Atlanta.” Denny is grabbing some attention for himself, but the fact that Chris has allowed himself to get shot by a taser still allows him to hold the title.

John some of us “right wing idiots” understand all too well the consequences of war and have lost loved ones. We also understand that we are fighting an enemy that is determined to destroy our way of life at all cost. They brain wash their children at birth to believe that to die for their religion and to kill as many “infidels” as they can is glorious. My cousin did not die because of Bush, Cheney, or Rumsfeld. He died because some muslim extremist planted a roadside bomb that he would have just as soon plant on Buford Hwy or Satellite Blvd. It is time that some of the left wing pansies WAKE UP and realize who the enemy is, rather than cheer for the enemy because it enhances their political agenda. THAT IS WHAT MAKES ME SICK.

CNN didn’t show the actual killing of a soldier, just how terrorist snipers stalk our soldiers. They also show video of innocent people kidnapped by terrorists and held ransom. Does anybody remember Daniel Pearl? I can’t believe that there are people who wish that our news media would withhold information from them. That’s absolutely crazy. What do you want, a state-owned and state-controlled news media like in North Korea? You must agree with the terrorists, and hate America and all it stands for if you want this.

“We also understand that we are fighting an enemy that is determined to destroy our way of life at all cost.”
That would be Osama bin Laden, not the Iraqis. And Bush said he does not care about him anymore. He is not concerned at all with him.
However, the Iraqis have really started to hate us since we screwed up their country, so Bush may have made you right for once.
I hate to break it to the right, but liberals hate CNN because they are almost as far right as Fox, and rarely report actualy news anymore. They appear to like the “Fox Lite role.” They seem to forget that you clowns will hate them no matter what they report.

Wow gttim, have you got it wrong. What on God’s green Earth has given you the indication that CNN is tilted to the Right?
And were not at war with the Iraqi’s we’re at war with Islamic Facists. Jihadists that want to kill us. If you look at the nationalities of the terrorists, they are Saudi, Pakistani, Iraqi, Jordinan, Syrian, etc…
This is a completely different kind of war because for the first time in our nations history, we are not at war with a nation. These extremists don’t belong to a particular nation, they don’t wear uniforms, they don’t abide by the Geneva Convention and the rules of war. Persoanlly, since they don’t abide by them, then I don’tthink that they, as prisoners, should be protected by them.
I say torture the hell out of them if it will get information to save our guys. If they wont play by the rules, then they should not benefit by the rules that govern our soldiers in a time of war.

All the comments from both sides makes me sick, as a soldier who has been in an area where snipers operated and shot other soldiers those videos chilled me to the bone and reminded me of feeling I had that you could be shot at any moment. War has many fronts and if you don’t realize it you are on the frontlines of the information war. The objective of this war is to either harden or weaken your resolve to succeed. The videos provided by the Islamic Extremist have a purpose. CNN doesn’t have to fulfill their purpose. In both Afghanistan and Iraq both these countries need to develop strong central governments to control their people and enforce civil liberties so minorities can freely live among the majorities. As Americans we do not understand the deep hatred that exists among people around the world. We don’t understand why the Protestants and Catholics in Northern Ireland kill each other, or the ethnic strive that runs throughout the Balkans, or the tribal killings in Africa. In Iraq the Shia majority would quickly work to eliminate the Sunni and Kurdish minorities. Are these problems the U.S. should work to solve? Or should we just go away and let the situation play out.

Wow, this dialogue is a wonderful example of the hateful and divisive legacy of six years of the Bush Administration. I won’t even comment on the pathetic “event” staged by Mr Shaffer who may well be absolutely the most ridiculous, ignorant and shameless demagogue this side of Sean “Party over Country” Hannity. I would say that based on his ratings, about 7 of those people were actual listeners. And to those seven, I would say what does it say about your life that you are standing outside of CNN on a weekday afternoon with some loser s**t for brains talk show host instead of being somewhere doing something productive? Wake up, righties. The news is what it is. There really have been hundreds of flag-draped coffins coming in to Dover AFB for the past 3 or 4 years even though the administration hides the pictures. There really are families that have dead sons, husbands, fathers, wives, mothers, and sisters. There really is an occupation going on in a soveriegn nation that posed no threat to the continental U.S. There really is a “man” in charge of this country that has shown himself to be one of little integrity, and questionable character to say the least. I could go on, but these words are wasted on those who live outside the “reality-based” community that chooses to accept cold, hard, sometimes uncomfortable real world facts outside of those views presented by Fox “News”. United we stand, divided, we fall. It is the responsibility of true patriots to always, always, hold those in power to account. Have a nice day.

First of all Linda, CNN is not a “station,” it is a television network. Of course trying to explain anything to a right-wing zealot is a joke. You just keep on thinking global warming is a lefty myth, that gay marriage will destroy straight marriages, and that there were weapons of mass destruction all over Iraq. You’re just the kind of moron the GOP is betting will keep their corrupt, lying butts in power. I just hope for the sake of this nation’s future you have not breed.

This “protest” was a publicity stunt, pure and simple.
And CNN’s purpose is to report news, not be America’s cheerleader. The footage in question (which I’ll bet a lot of the right-wing nutjobs blasting here haven’t even seen) was clearly tagged as “Terrorist Propaganda.” It wasn’t aiding “the enemy,” but merely showing their tactics. That’s what a free press is supposed to do - inform us, even on ugly subjects. That’s not un-American. Censoring it and/or covering it up is.

I want to share some facts to our misguided liberal friends out there. First of all, CNN and all the other media dont even need to be in Iraq in first place. They have no right being there, it a war! Secondly, CNN paid terroirsts for a video showing Insurgents killing a american. Thats saying to all the terrorists that dont have a pot to pee in, kill more americans and we will pay your for the videos. That it messed up. Liberals are the terrorists best friend, they use liberals in our country to make us weak. Dont you get it!! Thats the only war they can hurt america. They have no money, they can mobilizie troops to come over here. All them sorry sonofabitches can do it take hostages and make american look like fools for being over there by using liberals as puppets for their ultimate anilation of american. It is not news. News is that the soldiers were killed. What CNN did was exploitative and unholy and was done for purely commercial reasons.

hmmm, do people think terrorist are only going to target republicans or bush supporters if/when they start blowing up buses in the U.S.? No they want to kill us ALL! this is not something that Bush started. Remember jimmy carter and the u.s. hostage crisis? terrorists! Remember the marine barracks bombing during reagan’s administration and all the t.w.a. and other planes hijacked? terrorists! Remember the first World trade center bombing? the u.s.s. cole? the emabassy in somalia? ALL TERRORISTS!! The problem with most americans is they have a very short attention/memory. Those tapes should not have been shown and are terrorist propaganda and stupid americans are falling for it. What if you were the parent of one of those soldiers and you come home from shopping at home depot turn on cnn and see that!!!???? How would you feel! If people know anything about history or war it requires sacrifice and alot of it to win. America took ten of thousands of casualties in a month to capture a little island called Iwo Jima during WW II and folk wouldn’t stand for that now. After 5 soldiers get hang nails they would want to quit the war. This has become a spoiled and lazy nation of whiners. I learned recently that the U.S. during the vietnam war actuallu WON the tet offensive but thanks to the media back then they convinced the american public and the world that the U.S. took a beating and lost. It’s interesting that the terrorists have learned that americans are lazy and won’t do any research on their own to find out the facts and are using that against us. People have to realize if america goes down then they go down so pull for the home team!

Jonathan, you poor, delusional man. First, invest in a spell checker.
Second, the “facts” you shared are actually opinions. That’s OK. In fact, that’s what real America is about. Just know the difference between the two, please.
Third, I hardly think a video from CNN or whomever is a terrorist’s motivation for killing American soldiers. That’s unfortunately been happening long before this CNN story.
And the media (CNN, AP, Fox, etc.) has every right to be in a war. The press has covered wars since there’s been a press. Also, their purpose over there is NOT for American cheerleading, but to factually report on what is going on. Whether they always do that…well…that’s certainly open to debate.

Am I wrong for wanting to love and trust people in general, to stop the killing, to not want to impose ‘our’ way of life on people that don’t want it, to be sensitive to others ‘feelings’ and yet STILL be considered a whacko for my conservative political leanings? Am I wrong? Or, is something ELSE wrong here? For the first time I see we have no business ‘over there’. We have no idea how to fix our own problems; how can we fix theirs? This is sad, indeed. My heart goes out to all the families who have lost loved ones…I’m not saying I have any answers, either. Like the rest, I just wanted my voice heard. Maybe we should harken a simpler time and just PRAY? I’m not a religious fanatic, either…

As a former soldier, I despise CNN’s decision to show the video. Psychological operations are part of every war and propaganda is a huge part of that. CNN’s airing the video (knowing it was enemy propaganda) greatly aided the enemy’s psychological operations. (Witness some of the contacts on this board). The insurgents and al Qaeda have no psyops ability in the West aside from media outlets but CNN has consistently provided them with a forum. I don’t believe any network would have aired propaganda from Germany or Japan during the World Wars . Having said that, I strongly support the war. Bush had the gumption to enforce the UN’s resolutions when the UN itself and Clinton did not.

One more point — violence in Iraq is confined to 5 provinces out of about 18, and most of that is within a 30-mile radius of Baghdad. The rest of the country is peaceful and progressing — a fact that is never discussed. Much like we don’t hear about any other successes — like the Iraqi forces taking the lead in more than 50 operations this past weekend, breaking up terrorist cells, discovering massive weapons caches and killing more bad guys in a weekend than we have lost this month! Statistically speaking, Iraq is safer than St. Louis, Detroit, DC or even Atlanta. Where’s CNN’s story on that?

I just wanna know if Bush’s name will be used for every crisis 6 years after he is out of office as much as Clinton’s is. When you PAY anyone for a story, you contribute to their income and if you know the purpose for that income is to committ additional crimes or harm someone, then you are wrong. No story is worth that. But it becomes worth it when idiots tune in to watch. If you don’t like something, whether it is Flava-flav or I Pity-The-Fool..DON’T WATCH or listen to it. Steve, it’s not caffeine that’s making my head explode, it’s sitting here watching the beautiful country that I have loved for all my 40 years being systematically destroyed, torn apart by a group of self-centered, megalomaniacal blood-thirsty war profiteers who think nothing of exploiting uninformed citizens’ fears and prejudices to line their pockets and push forward their political agendas. Stop for a few minutes to do some actual studying of history and geo-politics, gather information from beyond the scope of just listening to those who say what you want to hear. The real world is big and complex, but some things are so clear that even a neo-con can see the truth if you are willing to just give education a chance. BTW, I am a U.S. military veteran, 6 years service. Who cuts funding for seriously injured veterans? Who supports a company (Halliburton) that gives tainted, dangerous water and food to our troops? Who disrespects dead soldiers by refusing to show them coming home for the final time? Who said, “I am not that interested in Bin-Laden”… Righty blog reader, if you need to be educated further, I can give you my phone number and we can talk.

John and rob, I too am a former soldier and I couln’t disagree with you more. The problem with America is not CNN or Fox, it’s forums like these and the climate we live in. Bush lovers hate everything so called liberal, if you disagree with them, you’re a bush basher. they blame their faults on clinton and their triumphs on Bush. We’re taking the fight to them so they say and we Americans should shut up and do as we’re told by this adminstrations and its handlers. Meanwhile, Bush critiques often criticize with no plans, saying we should pull out with out talking about an alternative strategy. We name call each other and each side only uses the “talking points” their side has sewn inot their heads. Cut and run, stay the course, moron, idiot and on and on but the first sign of tragedy, we’ll all put flags on our SUV’s. There has to be a better way to find solutions. So Jonathan believes the media has no right to be in a war zone!! Really! We had war correspondants in WWI, WWII, Korea, Vietnam… but now Jonathan thinks we should just depend on the word of our government and our military as to how things are going in Iraq. If we did that we would think the mission was accomplished three years ago and that things are going great in Iraq which is what Bush wants us to think. Without reporters we would not know the truth, which is just how conservatives want it!!! You people are very dangerous. Dearest Bill - Name calling and finger pointing from EITHER side is childish, pointless and does not address or solve ANY of the issues at hand. Unless we can remove our personal and political loyalties, we are ALL doomed to failure and those my friend, are the FACTS!!! In my opinion, our entire political process needs to be gutted and revamped from the ground up, but no one has the courage or interest to take these very necessary steps because surely, someone has to make a profit (and it ain’t the American people). Besides, in a world infatuated with American Idle & Dancing with Stars, it’s so much easier to just bicker and blame!! Now, what say you?

I turned over to Fox News the other day and watched for about an hour. It was a day that had seen 14 US servicemen killed in Iraq and Fox News was heavily reporting a police chase in Kansas City!! It was laughable. “If we can’t spin it we will just ignore it!” They looked like a giant ostrich with its head in the sand. They have no credibility and only seek to work as a propaganda machine for the Republican party. But some folks are more comfortable with lies than with the truth. The truth can be hard to bear when your party has screwed things up so royally and raped the public trust to the extent that the GOP has.

I find it interesting that conservatives on this blog have accused liberals of being terrorists and terrorist supportors when it is members of their own party who have actually carried out terrorist attacks on this nation. I don’t think Eric Rudolph or Timothy McVeigh were liberals. Uh, no, they are/were CONSERVATIVES!!! Ann Coulter has also said that it would be a good idea for someone to blow up the NYT offices. Conservatives and OSB have a lot in common.

CNN will show islamofascist terrorism propoganda killing our own troops, but they wouldn’t show 9/11 footage of people falling during the 5th anniversary, won’t show how many schools have reopened in Iraq, won’t show how many utilities have been restored in Iraq, won’t show our soldiers in Afghanistan wasting terrorists, and won’t show US soldiers doing good deeds in Iraq.
Nah, those of us that don’t think like good little Communist News Network deadheads know why: it’s an agenda against Bush. And CNN wonders why it’s ratings continue to be in the toilet. How pathetic.

Hey Lynda! Bush did not start the war - the terrorists started the war!
By Dave
November 1, 2006 8:48 AM | Link to this
Hey Shelly, You are wrong, Bush DID start this war in Iraq. How many terrorists that planned 9/11 were from Iraq? How many had funding provided by Iraq? I think CNN (and all news channels) should show every flg drapped coffin as it arrives in the US. They should interview the families of our troops that have lost their loved ones because we invaded a country that posed no threat to us (or anyone else for that matter). What did we send less troops into Afgahnastan then there are NYC police officers? The taliban is still active and Al Quada is getting stronger by the day. CNN supports terrorists. Keep listing to Sean, Rush, Bill and the rest of your neocon cheerleading team. Wait until 20 or 50 years from now when the history books are written about what our country did, and what it became because of the current administration, and more to blame those that elected them into power. Empires never last, too bad people like you let us try to become one. I wonder what you will saying when we come nose to nose with China in a few years. Hopefully us liberal dems can save us and the rest of the world from that (Like Kennedy in the Cuban missle crises). Had Bush, Cheney and Rummy been in charge, non of us would be alive today. If it does come to that, we will lose and lose big. The “next superpower” will come after us first, unless we act now. That is the “real” threat this worls faces. Not illegal immagration. You neocon’s are just too blind and ignorant to see the real threats that face america.

The terrorists did start this war - and we took it too them in Afghanistan. But instead of going after the real killers with all our might, we let them run free because we needed to prop up the popularity of a weak US President and wreckless, greedy, and power-mad GOP. And instead we attacked Iraq. Genius, huh? Satan has already told Karl Rove there’s a job waiting for him whenever he wants it. Boy did that make Cheney mad.

“CNN is just reporting the news.”
When was the last time you saw CNN broadcast footage of an abortion, better yet, a late-term abortion? According to this logic, abortions are newsworthy.
By Brian G. Finlay

CNN is not aiding an abetting terrorism or terrorists by reporting the news. Has it become “unpatriotic” to report the news? How else are the American people supposed to know what is going on over there and in the rest of the world? We certainly cannot count on the government in Washington to tell us the truth. Leave CNN alone!
By LSC
November 1, 2006 11:11 AM | Link to this
As a reminder to everyone posting here, CNN never showed anyone dying or getting shot in the sniper video. You don’t see blood, you don’t see guts and you don’t see the insurgent carry out his mission. Do yourselves a favor - search for it on cnn.com and actually watch it before you criticize the network for giving proof that this war is in fact not being fought by sloppy, ill-prepared Iraqi’s, despite what we were told early in the war.
And Viktor, abortions aren’t newsworthy because they’re private medical procedures that currently aren’t controlled by the male majority in Washington. That analogy/pseudo-argument has no rationale whatsoever. I guess you want a newsflash on the ticker the next time you visit your doctor for a check up…

The above post from “Will Jones” is a fraud, just like every other “offering” by the racist, fascist, treasonous, Nazi, closet-queens of the GOP and Rome’s Fifth Column.
“Stan,” if you’re pining for a genuine Will Jones tidbit…patience.
Meantime: To know for an absolute moral certainty that Bush committed 9-11 read “The New Pearl Harbor,” and watch “Loose Change 2.” To understand how we came to such a pass as Americans read Goldhagen’s “A Moral Reckoning” to understand how the Roman Fifth Column led by their banker Rockefeller and Rockefeller-tributaries of the Bush Crime Family successfully financed Hitler to secure complete moral, ethical and legal culpability for two popes and the Roman Catholic Church in perpetrating the Holocaust; and, finally, read the complete writings of America’s Founder, Thomas Jefferson, to get a clue what it actually means to be a true American.
N.B. Look at the back of the Two Dollar Bill and see the African-American on the front row of the Continental Congress that Declared Independence in 1776. White, black, Protestant, Jew, fallaway Catholic out of Babylon’s homossexual, pedophile priesthood. Let’s end Bush treason and restore E Pluribus, Annuit Coeptis America for all.

Well, partners, only time will give us an accurate perspective from which to judge the efficacy of Bush’s Iraqi strategy. But from where I’m sitting, it looks like a big mess.
I think we went into Iraq because all our high tech smart bombs did not work well in Afghanistan. All they did was create a massive urban renewal project.
In Iraq, the networks could put their cameras on hotel rooftops and broadcast around the world the wonder “Shock and Awe” —- of America’s high tech missils and smart bombs.
The whole thing has been a miscalculation and degenerated into civil war between tribal, religious and political factions. And, even to the untrained, this was predictable! To the professional diplomat, this is unconscionable.
As far as network coverage of the war is concerned, even after all this time, reporters are still hunkering down in hotel rooms because it is unsafe to venture out to report on what’s really taking place in the country-side.
So, a pox on Bush and Co. who assured us that the Iraqi people would greet us with palm leaves and candy as liberators and a pox on the networks who are merely spinmeisters of a policy gone awry. Adios!

Hey Chris and Randy, Since you’re writing from home or the office, how about I pay for some 1st class 1-way tickets to Iraq for you both. I’m sure there is so much great USA controlled propaganda on TV there 24/7. You guys would be in Fox News/white house news heaven….of course until your hotel or car gets blow up! How many terrorist attacks occured in Iraq before we INVADED them? None! Now they are occuring EVERY 15 minutes! Read about “Project For A New American Century” www.newamericancentury.org It’s funny how Wolfowitz, Cheney, Rummy and others were planning the Iraq war in 1997. The goal was to take over Iraq and use oil money (opps, that hasn’t happened either) to build Massive military bases in Iraq. Why Iraq? It is centrally located in the middle east, and it has the 2nd largest oil reserves in the world. It’s Funny that the largest military base in the world is currnetly under construction in Iraq. There are 14 permenant bases under construction with our tax dollars! Wake up you puppets! This is not spin, like Fox, it’s true. Read, listen and learn! It’s time to show every coffin arriving in the US from Iraq everyday. The families (children) need to be shown on a daily basis to you, to see what YOUR president, the one you elected has done. Daddy or mommy is never coming home. Why? You tell the families and children. Now go sign up, enlist (or get your children signed up and enlisted) and go! The invasion of Iraq had nothing to do with terrorism. It was a personal decision by Mr. Bush to restore his father’s reputation by completing the job he had left undone, as well as to get back at Saddam for trying to assassinate the senior Bush. It was a personal thing. It is well documented that the Bushes hated Saddam. And now we are caught in the middle of a civil war between the Sunnis and the Shias with no way out, and created a breeding ground and a rallying cause for terrorists. In the meantime, the focus is off Al Qaeda, who are free to plot and plan further attacks. Thank you very much, President Bush!

Archie Bunker, There was no war there! There were no terrorists there! How many terror attacks took place in Iraq previous to our invasion? They should show live footage of the war to all american everynight on TV. This war was a horrible mistake and has made the world a much more dangerous place. 15 of the 19 highjackers were from Saudi Arabia, why did we do nothing to go after the Saudi financers of AlQuada? Because the SAudi’s are friends with the Bush’s. Keep taking guys, your education levels and love of Sean, Bill and Rush (the 3 little pigs) is showing just like the little red, white and blue flag in the upper left hand corner run 24/7on fox! The airing of the soldiers being assinated was far over the line of responsible journalism. To call that fair reporting is like saying the Jerry Springer Show is indicitive of the everyday normal Amercian way of life; both go for over-the-top sensational ratings. The man they shown being killed by a snipers bullet was someones son, possibly a brother to someone or a husband and a father. I think some reporters such as Anderson Cooper would sit idle and watch something like the solider being killed and never say a word to warn the poor guy and show the killing under the banner of fair reporting. You may or may not support the war, thats up to you, but to show an American being killed live is disgusting and I don’t see how anyone could be so mean and evil and report something that shameful. Another thing, is Kerry an idiot or what with his remarks, even his fellow Dems are acting like he has the plaque, no one will touch him now. He just won a purple heart for his politcal career, it just took a bullet in the heart, Charles Manson has as good of a chance as being elected President as Kerry does now. Sonny will be Govenor for four more years, Georgia is now offically a solid Republican state, it’s a new day under the dome.

Your rebuttal for everything is “If you don’t like it in the USA, then leave.” or the famous “You don’t love America because you don’t support the war.” Come on, come up with something new. Just because a majority of the liberals don’t support the war, doesn’t mean that we’re “unpatriotic and don’t love our country”.
